Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS) supports all students in creating an environment that promotes reporting a concern on good faith, credible information. It provides a path for students to raise concerns about actual or suspected illegal acts, misconduct, or impropriety.Â
In order to enable the school to investigate objectively and thoroughly, students must identify themselves when making a report and reports should be made as close to the time of the incident as possible. This reporting policy allows students to raise concerns with the protection and assurance that reported incidents will be managed objectively, thoroughly, with confidentiality, and in good faith.
Students may report directly to their counselor, associate principal, or principal. Information regarding the investigation and outcome of reported events will be confidential and will not be shared back with reporters.
