Private Tutoring

No private tutoring is allowed on the High School Campus, nor during the JIS school day. The High School believes that such arrangements are best made off campus, in private residences and during time that could not otherwise be used to meet with JIS faculty for support.

The school policy for teachers tutoring students is:

According to Our Faculty Regulations:

Faculty members are not allowed to tutor their own students. The tutoring of students is an exception that may be permitted as long as the hours are after the close of the school day and considered reasonable and not detrimental to teaching performance.
