1. Rationale and Intent
To advance our campus sustainability commitments and reduce security operational strain, JIS restricts external food delivery and catering services. High volumes of single-use delivery packaging create excessive waste, while delivery traffic contributes to unhealthy emissions and distracts campus security from their primary safety duties.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all members of the campus community (including students, adults, faculty, staff, and campus guests).
3. Personal/Group Food Deliveries
Food orders via courier services or delivery apps (such as Gojek, Grab, etc.) are prohibited for all individuals on campus.
Security personnel will not allow drop-off of from delivery drivers onto campus property.
