M. Brinton Lykes is a professor emerita of Community-Cultural Psychology in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development and former Co-Director of the Center for Human Rights and International Justice at Boston College. Her research interests include state-sponsored terror, organized violence, and transitional justice; human rights policy and praxis; feminist and anti-racist participatory action research; decolonial theorizing and praxis within a pluriverse; and activist scholarship towards transformative change.
