It is a simple fact that good sanitation practices help keep a food operation and facility clean, orderly, and risk-free. In other words, good sanitation is just good sense! Maintaining sanitation in a food premises helps prevent the spread of harmful microorganisms to food, and to food-contact surfaces; keeps pests and rodents at bay; and safeguards customers.
