Does Jesus, being called the Son of God, mean that Jesus always existed as Almighty God the Son, the second person of a Godhead Trinity God as “some” Christians wrongly believe and teach?
In other words, just because “some” Christians wrongly believe and teach that Jesus always pre-existed as Almighty God the Son as a second person of a Trinity God does NOT mean that this is what the Bible ITSELF teaches!
Does Jesus, being called the Son of God, mean that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh having two natures at the SAME time during the days of his FLESH as “some” Christians wrongly believe and teach.
Did the eternal Divine Son of God that was supposedly created in the eternity past come down from heaven and become flesh as “some” Christians wrongly believe and teach?
Did Almighty God the Father Himself become flesh as “some” Christians wrongly believe and teach.
To me, and also to many other Biblical Unitarian Christians, we believe that the ONE TRUE God is one God in ONE person that the Bible ITSELF clearly identifies as being the FATHER.
And thus, the answer is NO to all of the above questions. Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that there is but ONE TRUE God in ONE PERSON, whom we call our heavenly Father.
We do NOT believe that Jesus is Almighty God Himself as SOME Christians WRONGLY teach.
So then, the number one error that Muslims make is that they wrongly ASSUME that ALL Christians teach that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh.
And that assumption made by almost every Muslim that is against Christianity is simply NOT the truth.
Now again, if none of the questions above are what the Bible ITSELF actually teaches concerning what the phrase “Son of God” means, then what does Jesus being called the “SON OF” God TRULY mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?

The Sound Biblical Meaning of Jesus Being the Son of God!
Book 8 Chapter 3.
What Does the Bible ITSELF Teach?
So then, again, the number one error that BOTH the Muslims and the Jews make is that they wrongly ASSUME that ALL Christians teach that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh. And that is simply NOT the truth.
For you see, Biblical Unitarian Christians do NOT believe and teach that Jesus being called the SON OF God means that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh like OTHER Christians wrongly teach.
Now again, if none of the questions above in the introduction are what the Bible itself actually teaches concerning what the phrase “Son of God” means, then what does Jesus being called the SON OF God TRULY mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?
Let us begin this study in God’s word by reading John 1:14 to truly see what the Bible itself STATES as a FACT with no interpretation needed. Simply read the words for what they are actually saying.
John 1:14.
“And the Word was made FLESH, and DWELT among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
What does this verse of Scripture in John 1:14 say happened first?
#1. The word was MADE FLESH.
The Word was NOT capitalized in any translation of the Bible before the 17th century.
And thus, the “word” in John 1:14 should be understood as being the word of PROPHECY written in the Old Testament.
What happened next?
#2. The word that was made FLESH dwelt among the disciples of Jesus.
Then what happens next after Jesus, the word MADE FLESH, DWELT among his disciples beginning at age 29 or 30?
For you see, the disciples of Jesus did not even meet Jesus until he chose them to be his first 12 disciples when he was about to turn 30 years old.
#3. The disciples BEHELD the GLORY of the word made FLESH as the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father.
So then, the Bible itself teaches us that Jesus being GLORIFIED is WHEN Jesus became the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father.
Notice that John 1:14 does NOT say the only begotten SON of the Father. But rather, it says the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father.
Now, the Muslims, as in, those who are NOT TRULY seeking the TRUTH, will argue that Almighty God does NOT BEGET anything.
But rather, Almighty God speaks His word saying BE and it is CREATED.
And I totally AGREE that is what the Bible ITSELF also teaches concerning the Virgin BIRTH of Jesus.
So then, ERROR number two that the Muslims, the Jews, and even SOME Christians make is that they do not look up the MEANING of the Greek word “gennaō” that has been wrongly “translated” as the English word “BEGOTTEN”.
And thus, they, speaking of the Jews and the Muslims, WRONGLY assume that the Son of God was begotten by God at the Virgin birth.
And some Christians wrongly believe and teach that the Son of God was begotten in the eternity past.
But none of that is what the Bible ITSELF teaches us!
So then, according to the Bible itself, the question to ask Almighty God is WHEN was the Son of MAN, the word that was made FLESH and dwelt among men, GLORIFIED to become the ONLY BEGOTTEN of Almighty God the Father?
For you see, Jesus was NOT YET GLORIFIED during his ministry.
John 7:37-40.
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
John 7:38. He that believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:39. (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; BECAUSE that Jesus was NOT YET GLORIFIED.)
John 7:40. Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a TRUTH this is THE Prophet.”
So then, the human Son of MAN, Jesus, was NOT YET GLORIFIED during the days of his ministry.
And that means that the disciples of Jesus did not behold the GLORY of the Son of MAN, Jesus, as being the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God until AFTER the Son of MAN, Jesus, was lifted up on the cross.
Therefore, when the Bible ITSELF says, “THIS DAY I have BEGOTTEN you”, the Bible means that on the very day that God RESURRECTED His HUMAN SON, Jesus, was the DAY that the human Son of God was BEGOTTEN by God to become the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father.
And thus, what Muslims, Jews, and “SOME” Christians fail to see or fail to understand is that the Greek word “BEGOTTEN” means “REGENERATED”.
And being GENERATED by God means to be CREATED as a NEW CREATURE or as a new CREATION of God.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Greek word that is “translated” as the English word “begotten” in the King James Version of the Bible. The emphasis is mine.

Total KJV occurrences: 97.
Now let us look at some Scriptures in the New Testament to learn WHEN Jesus was BEGOTTEN, or more correctly translated, WHEN Jesus was REGENERATED by God to become the ONLY REGENERATED of the Father.
And we will also learn HOW Jesus became the ONLY BEGOTTEN HUMAN Son of God, according to what the Bible itself ACTUALLY teaches.
In other words, let the Scriptures speak for themselves so that you can see what the Bible ITSELF actually teaches in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.
To say this another way, to all of my Muslim readers, do NOT assume that ALL Christians wrongly teach that the SON OF God means that God the Son has always existed in the eternity past at the right hand of Almighty God.
That is NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches as you will clearly see if you continue to read this whole Book 8 called “Is Islam the TRUE FAITH?”
First, we will look at WHEN the human Son of God was BEGOTTEN, or more correctly translated, we will look at WHEN the HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus, was REGENERATED by his God and Father to become the ETERNAL Son of God.
And then we will look at when the Son of MAN, Jesus, was BEGOTTEN or GENERATED to become the HUMAN Son of God.
Acts 13:32-41.
“And we declare unto you glad tidings, (Or we declare unto you the good news, the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of SALVATION) how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, (Speaking of the prophecies written in the Old Testament such as Psalm 2:7-12, and the fulfillment in Hebrews 1:5,6, Hebrews 5:5-11, and Revelation 1:5)
Acts 13:33. God has FULFILLED the same unto us their children, in THAT He has RAISED up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, THIS DAY have I BEGOTTEN you. (Again, more correctly “TRANSLATED”, you have become THIS DAY my SON whom I have REGENERATED from the DEAD and given ETERNAL LIFE)
Acts 13:34. And as CONCERNING that He RAISED him up from the DEAD, (Or BEGAT or generated His human Son from the DEAD) now no more to return to corruption, He said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
Acts 13:35. Wherefore, He said also in another Psalm, You shall not suffer Your Holy One to see corruption. (It is Jesus who is called the Holy ONE of God and NOT Muhammad as Islam wrongly teaches)
Acts 13:36. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: (In other words, the prophecies spoken by King David are referring to Jesus as being God’s FIRSTBORN Son from the DEAD never to die again.
Now, to all of my Muslim readers, your own Quran says that Jesus DIED, and all Muslims believe in the RESURRECTION, but only SOME Muslims believe that Jesus DIED on the cross and God RAISED Jesus from the dead.
So then, if you are a Muslim, then I implore you to TRULY consider what these following three videos are teaching; Muslim Scholar says that Jesus Died and rose again, The Quran CONFIRMS the DEATH of Jesus, and Quran verses the Bible/the death and resurrection of Jesus)
Acts 13:37. But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. (So then, God RESURRECTING His human Son of MAN, Jesus, from the DEAD and giving him ETERNAL LIFE is what the Bible ITSELF means by Jesus being the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God)
Acts 13:38. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this MAN is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: (Notice that the Bible ITSELF does NOT say, through the GOD-MAN, fully God and fully man at the same time is preached unto the forgiveness of sins.
But rather, the Bible itself says, through this MAN is the FORGIVENESS of sins being preached to you)
Acts 13:39. And by him all that believe are justified from ALL things, (Or, and BECAUSE of him, speaking of all who BELIEVE in what Jesus did for them by laying his own life down of his own free will to suffer and die on the cross, they are justified or forgiven of ALL of their past sins, according to Romans 3:25, 1 John 1:9, and 1 John 2:1,2) from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.
Acts 13:40. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
Acts 13:41. Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: (In other words, to all Jews and Muslims who WONDER how Jesus can be the BEGOTTEN SON OF Almighty God the Creator, you are WARNED to pay close attention to this Gospel of Jesus Christ lest you PERISH) for I (Almighty God, the Creator of Jesus) work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no wise believe, though a MAN declare it unto you.”
The Greek word translated as “a MAN” in verse 40 means ANY man whosoever he might be that is declaring the TRUTH to you concerning the WORK of Almighty God they will not believe.
In other words, if a Christian declares the truth about Jesus to the Jews who dogmatically argue that their faith is the true faith, those Jews will not believe.
And if a Christian declares the truth about Jesus to the Muslims who dogmatically argue that their faith is the true faith, those Muslims will not believe.
And thus, it is only the Jews and the Muslims who HUMBLE themselves to TRULY seek the TRUTH, that will come to understand the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ being declared unto them.
Again, I ask all Jews and all Muslims who DENY that Jesus is the SON OF God if you sincerely believe that you are ABOVE being able to be DECEIVED by Satan?
Are you willing to stake your very ETERNAL LIFE on the faith that the LEADERS of your faith TAUGHT to you?
Or are you going to truly seek the TRUTH for yourself by searching the Scriptures to see what the Bible ITSELF actually teaches as being the WAY to receive eternal life in the world to come?
Here is another verse of Scripture that proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that the HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus, became the FIRST human to be BEGOTTEN by Almighty God from the DEAD to become God’s ONLY BEGOTTEN Son at that moment in time that God REGENERATED Jesus from the dead and gave him eternal life.
Revelation 1:5.
“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the FIRST begotten of the dead, (And also the ONLY REGENERATED Son of God from the DEAD never to die again at that point in time.
However, Jesus is also called the firstborn of many BRETHREN, which means that we who BELIEVE in Jesus as the atonement for our sins will be given eternal life when Jesus returns) and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”
Now, some Christians ask the question, “Why is Jesus called the SON OF God BEFORE the cross and resurrection if Jesus was not begotten by God until God RAISED him from the DEAD?”
And why does John 3:16 say that God GAVE His only begotten Son if the Son of God was not begotten by God until after the cross and resurrection?
To answer those questions in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God, I ask this question, “How are YOU as a Christian BORN OF God?”
In other words, how do “Christians” BECOME the sons of Almighty God our heavenly Father?
The answer is SIMPLY! It can be summed up in this one verse of Scripture.
1 John 5:1.
“Whosoever BELIEVES that Jesus is the Christ is BORN OF God: and every one that loves Him that BEGAT loves him also that is BEGOTTEN of Him.”
In other words, being BORN OF God means being BORN-AGAIN by the word of Almighty God, the hearing and BELIEVING the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ.
And when we are born-again, we receive the Holy Spirit to DWELL in us to empower us to overcome sin and do the same works that Jesus did THROUGH the ANOINTING dwelling in him.
So then, at the baptism of Jesus, the God of Jesus ANOINTED him. And THEN, after God anointed His human Son, Jesus, with the Holy Spirit and power, according to Acts 10:38, is when God SENT His SON into the world.
Also, the Greek word that is “translated” as God “GAVE” His only begotten Son also means God RECEIVED His ONLY BEGOTTEN Son, as in, God received His FIRSTBORN Son from the DEAD up into heaven so that whosoever BELIEVES in him might be saved.
And when we read the Scriptures in the Old Testament speaking about the SON of God, then we can see that the Son of God ASCENDED into heaven FIRST and then he will be DESCENDING.
Let us go ahead and read Proverbs 30:4 so that you can see that the HUMAN Son of MAN ascended up into heaven to be seated at the right hand of his God.
As you read this verse of Scripture, please notice that Almighty God is asking WHO is the one who ASCENDED and WHO is the ONE who created all things.
In other words, God is asking if we can figure out the NAME of the Creator and also the NAME of the one who ASCENDED up into heaven.
So, clearly, this verse is talking about TWO different persons, the Creator, and the one who ASCENDED up into heaven to the Creator.
Proverbs 30:4-6.
“Who has ASCENDED up into heaven, or descended? (Or who will be descending) who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, AND what is His son’s name, if you can tell?
Proverbs 30:5. Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (Now, Muslims argue that the Bible has been CORRUPTED.
And thus, they deny that every word of Almighty God is pure.
What Muslims fail to understand is that the Bibles in other languages are TRANSLATIONS from the PURE word of God. And in that sense of being “translated” some words have not been correctly translated)
Proverbs 30:6. Add you NOT unto His words, lest He reprove you, and you are found to be a liar.”
And the prophet Daniel had a vision of one like the Son of MAN who came to the Ancient of Days with clouds.
And then Daniel sees in that vision that Almighty God, the Ancient of Days, GIVES the Son of MAN to be having DOMINION over the kingdoms of the earth.
Daniel 7:13,14.
“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of MAN came with the clouds of heaven, and CAME TO the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before Him. (In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was RECEIVED up into heaven in GLORY to be seated at the right hand of his God, according to 1 Timothy 3:16.
And according to Acts 1:9-11, the disciples of Jesus watched as Jesus ASCENDED up and a CLOUD RECEIVED him out of their sight)
Daniel 7:14. And there was GIVEN him dominion, and GLORY, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”
And, according to Matthew 28:18, Acts 2:36, Romans 1:3,4, and many other passages of Scripture, it was AFTER the cross and resurrection that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN all power and authority from his God and heavenly Father.
Now, while Muslims SAY that they believe that Jesus is the Christ, they DENY that Jesus is the SON OF God.
And that is BECAUSE of what the Imans have “INTERPRETED” the words of Muhammad to mean.
For you see, different scholars of Islam interpret some passages in the Quran differently than other scholars in Islam.
And thus, Muslims are divided much like Christianity is divided.
Now, in Christianity, the majority of Christians have been taught WRONGLY by the LEADERS in Christianity that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh.
And the same thing has happened in Islam. It was SOME of the LEADERS in Islam that have WRONGLY taught Muslims that Jesus did NOT die on the cross and that Jesus is NOT the Son of God.
But as you have seen in this chapter 3 of book 8 that the phrase “the Son of God” means that the CREATED HUMAN Son who was BORN of a woman BECAME the Son of God by first being born AGAIN by BELIEVING the word of Almighty God.
And then, the born-again human Son of God BECAME the eternal Son of God AFTER his God CROWNED him with GLORY and honor to be SEATED on God’s throne at His right hand during the world to come for 1000 years.
Here are some passages from the Quran, which I personally believe are Muhammad’s own personal OPINION and NOT the words of Almighty God the Creator as Muslims claim.
Some of the emphasis is mine in the following quotes from the website called Carm.
Allah does NOT beget.
Surah 23:91, “No son did Allah BEGET, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!”
Surah 19:35, “It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should BEGET a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.”
Surah 19:88-93, “They say: “(Allah) Most Gracious has BEGOTTEN a son!” 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 90 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 91 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 92 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should BEGET a son. 93 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant.”
Allah could have CHOSEN to have a son.
Surah 39:4, “Had Allah wished to take to Himself a son, He could have CHOSEN whom He pleased out of those whom He doth create: but Glory be to Him! (He is above such things.) He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible.”
Allah cannot have a son without a CONSORT
Surah 6:100-101, “Yet they make the Jinns equals with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him! 101. To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things.”
Allah does not BEGET
Surah 112:3, “He begetteth not, nor is He begotten.”
Allah has no consort
“They would say: We worshiped Jesus, son of Allah. It would be said to them: You tell a lie; Allah did not take for Himself either a spouse or a son.” (Sahih Muslim, (Book #001, Hadith #0352)
Then it will be said to the Christians, ‘What did you use to worship?’ They will reply, ‘We used to worship Messiah, the son of Allah.’ It will be said, ‘You are liars, for Allah has neither a wife nor a son. (Sahih Bukhari, Book #93, Hadith #532s)
Again, I personally believe that Muhammad gave his OWN personal OPINION and that the Quran is NOT the word of Almighty God, the Creator.
For you see, Muhammad ALSO said referring to the Christians, “to you be your religion, and to me my religion”.
Surah 109. Al-Kaafiroon (The Disbelievers)
1. Say (O Muhammad to these Mushrikun and Kafirun): “O Al-Kafirun (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Resurrection, and in Al-Qadar, etc.)!
2. “I worship not that which you worship,
3. “Nor will you worship that which I worship.
4. “And I shall not worship that which you are worshiping.
5. “Nor will you worship that which I worship.
6. “To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism).”
In other words, by the time that Muhammad got to the END of writing his book giving his own personal belief that Jesus is NOT the SON OF God, he came to the conclusion that Christians will believe what they believe and that he would believe what he believed.
So then, Muhammad’s OPINION was that God CANNOT BEGET Himself a SON because God has no WIFE.
But, what Muhammad FAILED to understand is that the Christians during the FIRST century taught that God CREATED Himself a HUMAN Son.
And then, God REGENERATED or generated AGAIN or BEGAT AGAIN His human SON back to LIFE and gave Jesus ETERNAL LIFE.
In other words, the EYEWITNESSES of the resurrection of Jesus taught that Jesus was BORN-AGAIN and that if any man wants eternal life, then we must ALSO be BORN-AGAIN of God by FAITH in God’s WORD, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of SALVATION!
Now let us go back and read John 7:37-40 again so that all Muslims and Jews that are reading this study in God’s word, the Holy Bible, can see that Jesus is THE PROPHET that was prophesied to come in the Old Testament Scriptures.
Including THE prophet that Moses prophesied would come in Deuteronomy 18:15-19, which I will cover in the upcoming chapters of this book 8 “Is Islam the TRUE FAITH?”.
John 7:37-40.

What Prophet? THE Prophet that Moses prophesied to come in Deuteronomy 18:15-19 who would be LIKE Moses that Almighty God said that He would raise up from among the BRETHREN of the children of Israel.
Now, Muslims believe and teach that Deuteronomy 18:15-19 is a prophecy of their prophet Muhammad.
And thus, they teach that while Jesus is indeed a Prophet of God, Jesus is NOT THAT Prophet prophesied by Moses.
So then, in the next chapter B-8 Ch 4 Is Islam the TRUE Faith? – Deuteronomy 18:18 Islam is NOT the TRUE Faith!

So then, I pray that you can see that God was placed on the spot, so to speak, to make PEACE in the universe without being seen by the faithful angels as a UNJUST God to destroy His ENEMIES that waged a WAR against Him and against them.
Now, the Christadelphian Christians, as well as, some other church denominations, such as the Roman Catholic Church, sincerely, but wrongly believe in the FALSE doctrine or original sin.
And thus, they build their other man-made doctrines upon the false doctrine of every person being born with a so-called sinful NATURE.
So then, Book 8 Which FAITH is the TRUE FAITH?

The Sound Biblical God INTENDED FAITH!
The correct God intended UNDERSTANDING of God and His Son will make the Bible so much easier to understand.
For yow see. It you have the WRONG VIEW of God and His Son, then you will read that WRONG UNDERSTANDING into the Scriptures.
And thus, that “interpretation” of those verses of Scripture will NOT AGREE with the REST of God’s word.
And those contradictions cause CONFUSION!
1 Corinthians 14:33.
“For God is NOT the author of CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

And to me, the truth concerning who Jesus TRULY is, according to the Bible ITSELF, is the Biblical Unitarian view of Jesus.
Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
