***What Does Hebrews 1:1-14 TRULY mean?

The TRUE Sound Biblical God INTENDED meaning of Hebrews 1:1-14!
Hebrews 1:1-2. PROVES that the Son did NOT appear to anyone in the Old Testament times before the Virgin birth of the Son of God!
Hebrews 1:3. PROVES that the Son was NOT made in the EXPRESS IMAGE of God until AFTER the cross and resurrection!
Hebrews 1:4. PROVES the Son OBTAINED a more excellent name than the angels by INHERITANCE!
Hebrews 1:5. PROVES that the Son was BEGOTTEN on a certain DAY, which means the Son cannot be the Almighty God, seeing that the Creator was never BEGOTTEN!
Hebrews 1:6. PROVES that all of the angels SHALL worship the Son at his COMING in the world to come!
Hebrews 1:7 PROVES that angels were MADE spirits!
Hebrews 1:8,9 PROVES that the Son was ANOINTED by the Father to BECOME a God above his fellows AFTER the Son loved righteousness and hated INIQUITY!
And verse 9 also PROVES that the Father is the God OF the Son!
Hebrews 1:10-12 PROVES that Yahweh the Father is the Creator who laid the FOUNDATION of the earth and the heavens are the WORK of His hands and NOT the work of the Son’s hands!
And verse 12 also PROVES that Yahweh is eternal and the earth will pass away and God will create a new earth!
Hebrews 1:13 PROVES that the Son is NOT the Angel of Yahweh in the Old Testament!
And this verse also PROVES that the Son will reign UNTIL the Father puts all of the enemies under the feet of Jesus!
Hebrews 1:14 PROVES that the angels are NOT the heirs of SALVATIONS!

Let All of the Angels Worship the FIRST BEGOTTEN!
In this Verse Study, I will cover one verse at a time with most of my comments between each verse.
But on some verses, I will have a FEW comments.
I will highlight all of the words that refer to Almighty God the Father in orange.
I will highlight all the words that refer to the Son, before the cross, in yellow.
I will highlight all the words that refer to the Son, AFTER the cross, in light blue.
And I will highlight the words that are incorrectly translated in green.
Please read Hebrews 1:1-14 one verse at a time.
Hebrews 1:1. “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in TIME PAST unto the fathers by the prophets,”
In other words, God did NOT speak at ANY time in the OLD Testament by His SON.
Therefore, any CLAIMS that the Angel of the Lord or Michael the archangel or any other angel was the pre-existing Jesus is a FALSE claim, according to this passage of Scripture.
Verse 1 here says that in times past God spoke by His PROPHETS.
Yes, people in the Old Testament had visions and angels also appeared to them.
However, in the next verse, verse 2, we are clearly and plainly told that God, during these LAST DAYS, has spoken to us by His SON.
Hebrews 1:2. “Has in THESE LAST DAYS (God has) spoken unto us by His SON, (Speaking of God’s HUMAN Son) whom He has APPOINTED HEIR of all things, BY whom also He MADE the worlds:”
Some Christians use this verse to try to prove that Jesus created all things.
But the TRUTH of the matter is that Almighty God the Father is the Creator of all things.
And Almighty God MADE the worlds or the AGES in the plural FOR His Son Jesus to INHERIT.
Simply ask yourself the question, “Why would an ALREADY always existing Son of God who is supposedly the Creator INHERIT what he created?”
It makes no sense, because the doctrine of the Trinity is a man-made doctrine to TRY to explain how two separate beings can both be called God.
In 2 Corinthians 4:3,4, is not Satan called the god of this present world?
The TRUTH of the matter is that there are MANY gods and many lords who were SET to be rulers by Yahweh the Creator.
But some of those Elohim waged a war against the other side of heaven.
And according to Psalm 8:1-6, the very REASON for why God created man and the Son of MAN is BECAUSE of His ENEMIES.
In short, God is in the process of dethroning the fallen Elohim and PROMOTING the SAINTS to be JOINT-HEIRS with Jesus to INHERIT the ages to come.
Now, the Greek word “dia” [Strong's Concordance #1223] that is translated as by whom, also means through, FOR, BECAUSE OF, and FOR the SAKE OF whom He also MADE the worlds or the AGES.
The root meaning of the Greek word “dia” is the CHANNEL of an act, the REASON for why the act was made, the means of, the GROUND or reason by which something is done or not done, by reason of, on account of, because of, for this reason.
Also, the word “THINGS” is NOT in the original Greek text and the word “ALL” is speaking of the ALL of WHOSOEVER believes.
So, Yahweh created the ALL of us as believers in Jesus Christ or by reason of what Jesus did on the cross.
And Yahweh MADE the worlds, or the AGES that are yet to come, FOR His Son to INHERIT, and we are JOINT-HEIRS with Jesus.
Now, the LITERAL translation of this verse in Hebrews 1:2 is as follows.
“on last one of the days these talks to us in Son whom He places tenant of ALL through whom also eons He MAKES”
In other words, this verse is actually speaking about the ages to come. God has made it POSSIBLE through His Son Jesus for us to become eternal sons and daughters of God to INHERIT the worlds that are yet to come, along WITH Jesus.
This verse does NOT mean that this present world and the world to come were made through or by a pre-existing God the SON of Almighty God in the eternity past.
Rather, this verse means that Almighty God made the AGES for the Son of man, Jesus, who will INHERIT the world to COME to rule over in the name of Yahweh for 1000 years.
You see, Almighty God the Father has GIVEN all authority and POWER to the highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus, for the PURPOSE to rule and reign over the WORLD to COME for Yahweh for a 1000 years to MAKE all the decisions that need to be made.
This is what this verse is actually speaking of, rather than the beginning of all creation of the entire universe in the eternity past.

These studies will give you a SOUND BIBLICAL teaching on who, the WHOLE word of God ITSELF, teaches is the Creator of all things.
Let us move on to the next verse, Hebrews 1:3.
Hebrews 1:3. “Who being the brightness of His glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of His PERSON…,”
Jesus, the SON OF God, is the EXPRESS IMAGE of the person of God in the brightness of His GLORY.
But WHEN was the Son GLORIFIED, according to Luke 24:25,26?
WHEN did the Son BECOME the IMAGE OF the invisible God, according to the CONTEXT in Colossians 1:15 found in verses 18-22?
Was the Son glorified in the eternity past, at his virgin birth, or AFTER the cross, according to Luke 24:25,26?
Why would an already Almighty God the Son need to be glorified?
How can Almighty God be the IMAGE of Himself?
Did the Son become God’s IMAGE in the past? Did Jesus become God’s IMAGE at the virgin birth, according to the CONTEXT in Colossians 1:15 found in verses 18-22?
Did Jesus become the IMAGE of God AFTER the cross? What does the CONTEXT in the rest of Hebrews 1:3 teach us?
“…and upholding ALL things by the word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
Now, some Christians try to use this verse to try to prove that Jesus, as the Word or as God the Son, is upholding all things in the entire universe by his OWN word of power.
But in truth, the LITERAL Greek is again speaking of the world to come where Jesus is GIVEN all power to rule and reign for 1000 years and WE will be JOINT-HEIRS to rule WITH Jesus.
And it is because of Jesus PURGING our sins by himself becoming sin FOR us.
Thus, it is Yahweh’s word decreeing the ONE sacrifice for sins that UPHOLDS ALL who BELIEVE.
Here is the LITERAL translation of Hebrews 1:3.
“Who being from radiance of the esteem and emblem of the understanding of him CARRYING ON besides the ALL to the declaration of the ability of him through himself making cleansing of the sins of us is SEATED in right hand of majesty in heights.”
As you can see, Jesus is GIVEN POWER to carry on to rule in his Father’s kingdom at his Father’s right hand.
Also, this verse teaches us that Jesus overcame sin through the POWER of the Father, the Eternal Spirit who DWELT in Jesus, according to John 14:10 and Hebrews 9:14.
And the words “the ALL” are speaking of us as God’s NEW CREATION created in His Son Jesus Christ and Jesus is CONTINUING to make us STAND by the power of Yahweh’s word, the promises in the Scriptures.
Hebrews 1:4. “Being MADE so much BETTER than the ANGELS, as he has BY INHERITANCE OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than they.”
Hebrews 2:7-9 and Psalms 8:3-5 teaches us that the first estate of Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God was made a little LOWER or INFERIOR to the angels.
And Philippians 2:6-11 teaches us that it was only AFTER Jesus as the Son of MAN became obedient to do all the will of HIS God and Father even to die on the cross for the sins of the whole world.
And THEN, Almighty the Father HIGHLY EXALTED His HUMAN SON Jesus to INHERIT a more excellent NAME that is above all of God’s creation.
Basically, Jesus is SECOND in rank and power only to his God and Father, the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God, UNTIL the Father has put all of the ENEMIES under the feet of Jesus, according to Psalm 110:1, Hebrews 1:13, Hebrews 10:12,13, Acts 2:34-36, Matthew 22:44, Mark 12:36, and Luke 20:42,43.
For you see, 1 Corinthians 15:25-28 teaches us that the Son will COMMIT the kingdom back into the hands of Almighty God the Father so that God will be all and in all.
And thus, Jesus will step down from ruling as God over the whole earth and Almighty God the Father will rule from henceforth after the 1000 year reign of Jesus, according to Micah 4:6-8.
Hebrews 1:5. “For unto which of the ANGELS said he (Almighty God the Father) at ANY TIME, You are my SON, THIS DAY have I BEGOTTEN you? And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a SON?”
First of all, this verse should prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus did NOT pre-exist as an ANGEL, which some Christians like the Mormons and the Jehovah’s Witnesses FALSELY teach.
And even the Oneness and Trinitarian Christians who teach that Jesus was the Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament.
However, this verse of Scripture clearly says that God never said at ANY TIME to one of the ANGELS to be His SON, who would be seated at His right hand side.
Therefore, NONE of the Angel of the LORD verses proves that a God the Son manifested himself as the angel of the Lord.
And for many other reasons for why the Angel of the LORD verses do NOT prove a pre-existing Son, please read the study called V-5. Is the ANGEL of the LORD Jesus?
Secondly, the phrase “THIS DAY I have BEGOTTEN you” clearly teaches us that Jesus the SON OF Almighty God was BEGOTTEN or brought forth into existence on a CERTAIN DAY.
And that one FACT teaches us without a doubt that the SON OF God did INDEED HAVE a BEGINNING.
The very words “SON” and “BEGOTTEN” demand a BEGINNING for Jesus the only BEGOTTEN SON OF God.
So then, the ONLY way that Jesus could have pre-existed as the WORD, as in, the SPOKEN word of PROPHECY of God’s PLAN to bring forth into existence a human Son that Yahweh would make both Lord and Christ.
Now, why would Yahweh PROPHESY of begetting Himself a Son in the future if so be that God’s Son already existed at His side in the eternity past?
Why do NOT ANY PROPHECIES say, “I Yahweh will send down my Son from heaven and my Son will manifest himself to become flesh in the womb of a virgin.”
In other words, there is not one single PROPHECY of a Son coming down from heaven to be the Messiah!
To better understand the ORDER in which the ACTUAL events were PROPHESIED, please read the study W-11. Isaiah 9:6 The Everlasting FATHER!
Or read Isaiah 9:6,7 Proves the HUMAN Son of God Came FIRST!
Hebrews 1:6. “And AGAIN, WHEN he brings in the FIRST BEGOTTEN into the world, He said, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
This verse is speaking of the SECOND COMING of Jesus when Almighty God brings His FIRSTBORN SON from the DEAD never to die again back into the world to rule for Yahweh as His King of kings and Lord of lords.
The FIRST begotten means to GENERATE the firstborn BACK from the DEAD.
And then, God GAVE the Son LIFE to be having in himself even as the Father has life in Himself, according to John 5:26,27.
And, according to John 5:26,27, God ALSO gave the Son of MAN all power and authority, and JUDGMENT, to rule and reign for 1000 years during the world to come, BECAUSE he was the Son of MAN.
It is during the world to come as to WHEN every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord TO the GLORY OF Almighty God the Father, and all the angels shall worship the SON OF God.
Now, if the Son has ALWAYS been the Son of God, then WHY does Hebrews 1:6 say LET ALL of the angels worship him?
The answer is obvious with the Biblical Unitarian understanding of Jesus, God will MAKE all of the FALLEN angels, who REJECTED the cornerstone, bow their knee and call Jesus Lord to the GLORY of the Father.
Hebrews 1:7. “And of the angels He says, Who makes His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire.”
Now, I personally believe that God MADE some of the fallen angels “spirit” by drowning them in the FLOOD at the FOUNDATION of the earth.
In other words, some of the fallen angels become GHOSTS or disembodied spirits during the WRATH of God’s JUDGMENT of the angels who waged a WAR against the other side of heaven.
And the fallen angels will be made a BLAZE of FIRE on the final Day Of Judgment in the lake of fire.
For all of the Scriptures that support this understanding, please read the study called Hebrews 1:7 What Does Hebrews 1:7 TRULY Mean?
Hebrews 1:8. “But unto the SON He said, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.”
Those who teach the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus during the days of his flesh use this verse to TRY to prove that Jesus is FULLY GOD.
And by fully God they mean that Jesus is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God Himself in the flesh.
Now, it is indeed TRUE that the Son of MAN, Jesus, has been HIGHLY EXALTED to become [a] God who is UNDER and SUBJECT to his God and Father.
However, this verse does NOT prove that Jesus is THE ALMIGHTY God, who ALONE is the FATHER, according to 1 Corinthians 8:6.
Please read the study called D-45. 1 Corinthians 8:6 PROVES the Father ALONE is the ONE God!
For you see, the VERY NEXT verse of Scripture clearly and plainly teaches us that the Father is THE Almighty God who is OVER His SON Jesus.
Hebrews 1:9. You (My SON) have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; THEREFORE (Or for this VERY REASON that you have loved righteousness) God,(THE GOD, Almighty God the FATHER) EVEN YOUR God, (Clearly, without a doubt, showing us that Almighty God the FATHER is God EVEN OVER His SON Jesus, who the God and Father of Jesus says to His now highly exalted human SON, EVEN YOUR God) has ANOINTED you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.”
So then, this verse is CLEARLY speaking of the HUMAN Jesus being made the HEAD of the body of believers, the church of the FIRSTBORN Son of Yahweh.
And it was AFTER the Son proved that he LOVED righteousness and HATED iniquity that it PLEASED the Father that the FULLNESS of DEITY should dwell in him bodily.
Thus, it was AFTER the cross and resurrection that the Son of MAN was CROWNED with glory and honor to RECEIVE power, according to Psalm 21:1-7, Revelation 5:12, John 17:2, Matthew 28:18, Hebrews 2:8,9, 1 Peter 3:22, and Romans 1:4.
Hebrews 1:10. And, You, Lord, (Speaking of Almighty God the FATHER and NOT His SON Jesus.

But for now, know that the word “Lord” here can mean [a] lord, as in, a common man, who is a landowner.
Or it can mean Lord, as in, referring to Jesus who was MADE to become both Lord and Christ by Almighty God the Father, according to Acts 2:36.
Or it can mean LORD as referring ONLY to Yahweh, the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER.
Also, know that verse 10 here is QUOTED from Psalm 102:24-27 and that this verse in Psalm 102:25 is definitely speaking of Lord as being Yahweh the one true and only Almighty God the FATHER.
For you see, verse 23 and 24 are a prophecy of the Messiah’s days being shortened and he is asking Yahweh to not take him away.
In other words, Psalm 102:23-27 is a prophecy of Jesus praying to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane asking God if there is another way and have this cup pass from him.
So, since the word Lord refers to Almighty God the Father in the Old Testament in Psalm 102, then you can be sure without a doubt that the name Lord here in Hebrews 1:10 is STILL YET referring to Almighty God the Father as the CREATOR who) in the beginning, has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands:”
Compare the phrase, “works of Your hands” to the context in Hebrews 2:7,8.
Hebrew 2:7.8.
“You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor, and did SET him over the works of YOUR hands:
Hebrews 2:8. You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now, we see NOT YET all things put under him.”
The questions are as follows:
Question #1. “Did the writer of Hebrews INTEND his words to mean that the Father is still speaking TO His SON in verse 10?”
Question #2. “Did the writer of Hebrews INTEND his words to be quoting Psalms 102:25 where the SON is speaking TO Yahweh the Father?”
For you see, the ACTUAL PROPHECY in Psalm 102:24-25, it is the Messiah in verse 24 doing the speaking and saying, “I said O my God”, speaking to his God and Father, saying to Yahweh, “Of old YOU have laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of YOUR hands.
Psalm 102:26. They shall perish, but YOU shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt YOU change them, and they shall be changed:
Psalm 102:27. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years shall have no end.”
Now, in the LIGHT of what you have just learned in the CONTEXT of Hebrews 1:1-9, it is made perfectly CLEAR that Jesus is NOT Almighty God Himself.
So then, just simple common sense should tell you that in verse 10, the SON is now talking to his God and Father, because we just read in verse 9 that Yahweh the Father is the God OVER His Son Jesus.
And in verse 9, we see that God, speaking of Yahweh the Father, is the one who anointed the Son of man, Jesus, to have preeminence above his fellow brethren.
Then verse 10 continues to say, and YOU Yahweh who anointed your Son above his brethren have created all things, You have laid the foundation of the earth.
Hebrews 1:11. “They shall perish; but You remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment;
Hebrews 1:12. And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but You are the same, and Your years shall not fail.”
Then in the next verse, the writer of Hebrews changes back to talking ABOUT the Son, whom the Father said in His prophecy in Psalm 110:1 concerning His future Messiah to come and sit at my right hand UNTIL Yahweh makes all of his enemies his footstool.
And the writer of Hebrews again contrasts BETWEEN the angels and the Son making it clear that Yahweh never at any time said to any of the angelic beings to be seated at His right-hand side.
Hebrews 1:13. “But to which of the ANGELS said He at any time, Sit on My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool?”
This ONE verse alone should prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus did NOT pre-exist as an ANGEL as some FALSELY teach.
For you see, God said to His human SON, His FIRST BEGOTTEN SON from the dead to be given eternal life, SIT on My right hand UNTIL I make your enemies your footstool.
So then, the FIRST estate is the SON OF Almighty God was HUMAN.
The word was made flesh in John 1:14 and the PROPHECY in Psalm 8:1-6 says in verse 5 that man and the Son of MAN would be MADE to be a little LOWER than the ANGELS.
But then, after the Son of MAN, became obedient to do all the will of HIS God and Father, then Almighty God the Father HIGHLY EXALTED His only BEGOTTEN SON from the DEAD to inherit a NAME or a place of authority far ABOVE the ANGELS, according to Philippians 2:6-11.
Hebrews 1:14. “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
Now, I personally believe that Hebrews 13 and 14 should be interpreted and understood in the LIGHT of 1 Peter 3:22 where ALL of the angels, both the good and the fallen angels that are the authorities and powers of the air being made SUBJECT to Jesus AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Let us go ahead and read that verse.
1 Peter 3:22.
“Who (Speaking of the now GLORIFIED Son of Man, Jesus) is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels AND authorities and powers being MADE SUBJECT unto him.”
Again, to me, I am seeing that BOTH the good angels AND the principalities and powers of the air being made SUBJECT to us as BELIEVERS, according the Hebrews 1:14, Ephesians 1:17-23, and Colossians 2:9,10, plus many other verses like Ephesians 2:5,6, and John 14:12-14.
So then, from Hebrews chapter 1, we can eliminate Jesus pre-existing as an ANGEL like it is taught by the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons and even Trinitarians who claim that Jesus was the Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament.
For you see, to NONE of the ANGELS did God ever say at any time, “You are my SON, this day have I begotten you.”
We can also eliminate Jesus pre-existing as the literal divine SON OF God who had no beginning in the eternity past, as well.
For you see, we clearly see that Jesus was BEGOTTEN on a CERTAIN DAY.
Therefore, the only way that Jesus could have pre-existed at the FOUNDATION of the world as the LAMB SLAIN, is that Jesus pre-existed as the word of PROPHECY, which should have never been capitalized as the Word in John 1:1.

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
