According to the Bible ITSELF, WHO Is the Holy Spirit?

Depending on what church denomination you attend will determine the way in which that particular church denomination would phrase the above question about the Holy Spirit as either being a “WHAT” or a “WHO”.

For example, the Jehovah's Witnesses, the United Church of God, the Christadelphians, the International Church of God, among other lesser-known church denominations all insist that the Holy Spirit is NOT a person. 

But rather, they all WRONGLY teach that the Holy Spirit is an IMPERSONAL “FORCE”, or POWER, that is used and sent by Almighty God the Father.

Then all Trinitarian churches dogmatically demand that the Holy Spirit IS a PERSON and that the Holy Spirit is the THIRD person of the Trinity God or triune God.

In this particular study, we will only touch on a few things in God's word that CLEARLY shows us that the Holy Spirit is NOT a THIRD person of a so-called Trinity Godhead.

Now, the Unitarian Oneness Pentecostal believers teach that the Holy Spirit, Almighty God the Father, AND Jesus Christ, the SON OF Almighty God the Father, are ALL ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING.

Biblical Unitarians are not the same as Unitarians or Universals Unitarians. 

But for now, let us continue this study in God's word. Basically all the choices that we can possibly have are as follows.

OPTION #1. 

The Holy Spirit is the THIRD person of a “triune” God or a “trinity” God.

In other words, the Holy Spirit is God, but the Holy Spirit is NOT Almighty God the Father.

And the Holy Spirit is NOT Jesus Christ, the SON OF Almighty God the Father.

OPTION #2. 

The Holy Spirit is NOT a person at all. 

But rather, the Holy Spirit is an impersonal “FORCE” or “POWER” that is used by Almighty God.

 The Father His Holy Spirit as His agent or means to accomplish His will.

OPTION #3. 

The Holy Spirit is indeed a PERSON. 

But the Holy Spirit is NOT a SEPARATE person from Almighty God the Father AND His SON Jesus. 

In other words, ALL THREE are ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING. 

And thus, the ONE God operates in different MODES or manifestations of HIMSELF.

OPTION #4. 

The Holy Spirit is indeed a PERSON, who is NOT Almighty God the Father, and who is NOT Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the Father. 

But rather, all THREE are separate persons of the one Godhead work together in UNITY and in PURPOSE. 

I know that this SOUNDS like the doctrine of the Trinity, but it is different, in that, the three are NEITHER co-equal NOR co-eternal like the doctrine of the Trinity WRONGLY teaches. 

So, basically, this belief is the CHANGED version of the Trinity REDEFINED.

And as far as I know, the Church of the Latter-Day Saints, also called the Mormons and the Dawn Bible Student church, which broke away from the Watchtower Society of the Jehovah's Witness, are the only ones who hold this particular belief.

OPTION #5. 

The Holy Spirit is indeed a PERSON, who is ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING as Almighty God the Father who is SPIRIT. 

However, the Holy Spirit is NOT Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God

But rather, a measure or a PORTION of the Eternal Spirit DWELT in Jesus the SON OF Almighty God whom Jesus called the Father dwelling in him, according to John 14:10. 

The purpose of this study in God’s word, as is with all the Bible studies I have written, is to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. 

WHAT Does the BIBLE ITSELF TEACH Us?

 FIRST, let us take a closer look at all the evidence that the Jehovah's Witnesses, the United Church of God, the Christadelphians, and all the other church denominations use the following arguments to TRY to prove that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON.

 But rather, all of those beliefs insist that the Holy Spirit is simply an IMPERSONAL “FORCE” or “POWER” that is used by Almighty God the Father.

Now as you read through the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ arguments below please keep in mind that their side of the argument is only ONE SIDE of this controversial teaching from God’s word. 

In other words, after you read this ONE side of the argument, we will then take a close look at ALL of the sound Scriptural evidence on the OTHER SIDE of this controversy on whether the Holy Spirit is an impersonal force or the very PERSON of Almighty God Himself. 

And then we will weigh the WHOLE matter to see which side is the SOUND BIBLICAL teaching.

You can look up and read the Scripture references given by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society now or later as you read through THEIR following arguments. 

Or you can read them later when I have them all written out explaining them verse-by-verse further on in this study in God’s word to expose the ERRORS of INTERPRETATION made by the leaders of the Jehovah’s Witness.

I give the link so that any Jehovah’s Witnesses seeking the TRUTH can check to see if I cover all the verses used to try and support the teaching that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON. 

I will place the teaching of the Jehovah’s Witness in a different font style called Courier New.

I do this so you can easily distinguish what I believe and teach from what the Jehovah’s Witnesses teach. 

The emphasis is my own in order to point out both specific errors AND TRUE FACTS as well. 

The statements that are TRUE Biblical facts, I will highlight in yellow. 

And I will highlight in green what is NOT Biblical.

What Is the Holy Spirit? | Bible Questions

The Bible’s answer. 

“The holy spirit is God’s power in action, his active force. (Micah 3:8; Luke 1:35) 

God sends out his spirit by projecting his energy to any place to accomplish his will.—Psalm 104:30; 139:7.

In the Bible, the word “spirit” is translated from the Hebrew word ru′ach and the Greek word pneu′ma. 

Most often, those words refer to God’s active force or holy spirit. (Genesis 1:2) 

However, the Bible also uses those words in other senses:

• Breath.—Habakkuk 2:19; Revelation 13:15.

• Wind.—Genesis 8:1; John 3:8.

• The vital, or animating, force in living creatures.—Job 34:14, 15.

• A person’s disposition or attitude.—Numbers 14:24.

• Spirit persons, including God and the angels.—1 Kings 22:21; John 4:24.

These meanings all share the sense of something invisible to humans that produces visible effects. 

Similarly, the spirit of God, “like the wind, is invisible, immaterial and powerful.”—An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, by W. E. Vine.

The Bible also refers to God’s holy spirit as his “hands” or “fingers.” (Psalm 8:3; 19:1; Luke 11:20; compare Matthew 12:28.) 

Just as a craftsman uses his hands and fingers to do his work, God has used his spirit to produce such results as the following:

• The universe.—Psalm 33:6; Isaiah 66:1, 2.

• The Bible.—2 Peter 1:20, 21.

• The miracles performed by his ancient servants and their zealous preaching.—Luke 4:18; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

• The fine qualities displayed by people who obey him.—Galatians 5:22, 23.

The holy spirit is not a person.

By referring to God’s spirit as his “hands,” “fingers,” or “breath,” the Bible shows that the holy spirit is not a person. (Exodus 15:8, 10) 

A craftsman’s hands cannot function independently of his mind and body; likewise, God’s holy spirit operates only as he directs it. (Luke 11:13) 

The Bible also compares God’s spirit to water and associates it with such things as faith and knowledge. 

These comparisons all point to the impersonal nature of the holy spirit.—Isaiah 44:3; Acts 6:5; 2 Corinthians 6:6.

The Bible gives the names of Jehovah God and of his Son, Jesus Christ; yet, nowhere does it name the holy spirit. (Isaiah 42:8; Luke 1:31). 

When the Christian martyr Stephen was given a miraculous heavenly vision, he saw only two persons, not three. 

The Bible says: “He, being full of the holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand.” (Acts 7:55) 

The holy spirit was God’s power in action, enabling Stephen to see the vision.

Misconceptions about the holy spirit. 

Misconception: The “Holy Ghost,” or holy spirit, is a person and is part of the Trinity, as stated at 1 John 5:7,8 in the King James Version of the Bible.

Fact: The King James Version of the Bible includes at 1 John 5:7,8 the words “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 

And there are three that bear witness in earth.” However, researchers have found that those words were not written by the apostle John and so do not belong in the Bible. 

Professor Bruce M. Metzger wrote: “That these words are spurious and have no right to stand in the New Testament is certain.”—A Textual Commentary on the Greek New Testament.

Misconception: The Bible personifies the holy spirit, and this proves that it is a person.

Fact: The Scriptures do at times personify the holy spirit, but this does not prove that the holy spirit is a person. 

The Bible also personifies wisdom, death, and sin. (Proverbs 1:20; Romans 5:17, 21) 

For example, wisdom is said to have “works” and “children,” and sin is depicted as seducing, killing, and working out covetousness.—Matthew 11:19; Luke 7:35; Romans 7:8, 11.

Similarly, when the apostle John quoted Jesus, he personified the holy spirit as a “helper” (paraclete) that would give evidence, guide, speak, hear, declare, glorify, and receive. 

He used masculine personal pronouns such as “he” or “him” when referring to that “helper.” (John 16:7-15). 

However, he did so because the Greek word for “helper” (pa·ra′kle·tos) is a masculine noun and requires a masculine pronoun according to the rules of Greek grammar. 

When John referred to the holy spirit using the neuter noun pneu′ma, he used the genderless pronoun “it.”—John 14:16, 17.

Misconception: Baptism in the name of the holy spirit proves that it is a person.

Fact: The Bible sometimes uses “name” to stand for power or authority. (Deuteronomy 18:5, 19-22; Esther 8:10)

This is similar to its use in the English expression “in the name of the law,” which does not mean that the law is a person. 

A person who is baptized “in the name of ” the holy spirit recognizes the power and role of the holy spirit in accomplishing God’s will.—Matthew 28:19.

Misconception: Jesus’ apostles and other early disciples believed that the holy spirit was a person.

Fact: The Bible does not say that, nor does history. 

The Encyclopædia Britannica states: “The definition that the Holy Spirit was a distinct divine Person . . . came at the Council of Constantinople in ad 381.” 

This was over 250 years after the last of the apostles had died.”

Now that you have viewed the evidence from THEIR ONE SIDE of this controversial subject, we will now take a close look at the evidence from the OTHER SIDE of this teaching. 

We do this in order to see whether the Holy Spirit is a WHO, as opposed to a WHAT. 

But before we get deep into the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, showing all the verses that CLEARLY and PLAINLY show us that the Holy Spirit is indeed a PERSON. 

Let me shed some light on WHY I personally believe that all those who dogmatically demand that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON are wrong. 

You see, those that wrongly teach that the Holy Spirit is an IMPERSONAL “FORCE” or “POWER”, do so in their ZEAL to prove that the Holy Spirit is NOT the THIRD person of the so-called “TRINITY” or “TRIUNE” Godhead being THREE DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT PERSONS in one God.

In other words, in one of the arguments that the Jehovah’s Witnesses give, that make a VALID point that the Bible ITSELF speaks of only TWO persons as opposed to there being THREE persons. 

But then, they WRONGLY conclude that since the word of TRUTH speaks of only TWO persons, then the Holy Spirit MUST, without fail, NOT be a PERSON. 

HOWEVER, they fail to even consider that the Holy Spirit is Almighty God the Father Himself, who is Spirit and who is indeed HOLY.

And then the Jehovah’s Witnesses proceed to CLAIM that this is what the BIBLE itself teaches. 

Here is another one of THEIR arguments.

The Bible’s answer.

I want you, my readers and seekers of the TRUTH to KNOW and UNDERSTAND that all FALSE doctrines use Scriptures OUT of CONTEXT.

So, just because verses of Scripture from the Bible are being used to TRY to prove a church doctrine, does NOT mean that that particular church denomination is using the WHOLE word of God to support and prove what they teach. 

Always keep in mind that false teaching uses ONLY select verses taken out of CONTEXT. 

And then, they READ INTO those selected cherry-picked verses of Scripture, their own personal INTERPRETATION. 

For you see, their OWN desired meaning is needed in order to TRY to support what that particular church denomination is teaching.

So then, in order to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH Christians need ALL the evidence from the WHOLE word of God. 

Let us now examine the verses used by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society to WRONGLY teach to their Jehovah’s Witness followers

The leaders argue that the Holy Spirit is not a person, but rather an impersonal force or power that is used by God. 

And the REASON for WHY they have done this is to prove that the Holy Spirit is not a so-called THIRD person of a Trinity Godhead. 

It is important to understand WHY Christians teach different things.

 Please read Micah 3:8.

“But truly I am full of power BY the Spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, TO DECLARE unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.”

In other words, the prophet Micah is simply saying that Almighty God HIMSELF, who is SPIRIT, has filled his prophet with boldness, power, and authority to DECLARE before Israel their sin. 

Micah is basically saying these are not MY words, but rather, I am only declaring to you what Almighty God HIMSELF has told me to say. 

Simply put, the prophets of God are given POWER BY Yahweh, who is Spirit and who is HOLY. 

In other words, God sent a measure or a portion of His Spirit to His prophet. 

And in that small portion of the Eternal divine Spirit is all the power of God that is NEEDED to accomplish the task that the Eternal Holy Spirit SPEAKS to the prophet to do.

Let us skip down to another argument used by the Jehovah’s Witness to TRY to prove that the Holy Spirit is NOT a person. 

And then we will come back to Luke 1:35, Psalm 104:30, and Psalm 139:7 to see what these verses of Scripture are truly saying in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. 

Please read again where the Jehovah’s Witness CLAIM that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON.

Spirit PERSONS, INCLUDING God and the angels.—1 Kings 22:21; John 4:24.

These meanings all share the sense of something (Or SOMEONE. For you see, the angels are PERSONS and so is Almighty God who is HOLY Spirit, a Holy BEING who) INVISIBLE to humans that (Or WHO) produces visible effects. Similarly, the spirit of God, “LIKE the wind, is INVISIBLE, immaterial (Or NOT natural as something or someone who is MADE or CREATED) and(WHO IS) powerful.”—An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, by W. E. Vine.

Again, the angels are literal BEINGS or PERSONS who are of spirit NATURE.

Now let us read in the Bible where Almighty God HIMSELF is PLAINLY STATED as being a SPIRIT. 

And then ask yourself the question “Is Almighty God the Father HIMSELF a PERSON or DIVINE BEING who PERSONALLY LOVES YOU?”

Ask yourself the question “Is Almighty God the Father HIMSELF an IMPERSONAL “FORCE” or “POWER” simply because Almighty God HIMSELF is SPIRIT?”

Are you going to BLASPHEME the HOLY SPIRIT, Almighty God the Father HIMSELF, by dogmatically demanding that Almighty God the FATHER is NOT a PERSON or divine being, WHO is INVISIBLE and WHO is SPIRIT and who is HOLY and ETERNAL?

You see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, who are a Jehovah’s Witness, or who are Christians that are a part of another church denomination that wrongly teaches that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON, you are unknowingly in danger of Hellfire as Jesus himself WARNS those who BLASPHEME the Holy Spirit. 

Please read Matthew 12:22,33, where we see only TWO persons and NOT THREE. I will only quote the last two verses.

Matthew 12:32,33.

“And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: (In other words, you can say what you will about Jesus the Son of MAN and it will be forgiven you) but whosoever speaks against the HOLY GHOST, it shall NOT be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 12:33. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.”

Did you notice dear children of God that ONLY TWO separate and distinctly different PERSONS are being spoken of in this verse? 

And which TWO separate PERSON are being spoken of in this verse? 

They are Jesus the Son of MAN and the HOLY SPIRIT.

So WHERE is Almighty God the FATHER? I will tell you where. 

Almighty God the FATHER is right there in that very verse under the NAME called the HOLY SPIRIT! 

The TITLE of FATHER is not mentioned, because the Holy Spirit is Almighty God the FATHER, the ONE and only ETERNAL SPIRIT! 

So either make your tree good by stop blaspheming the FATHER who is the Holy Spirit or continue to DENY that the Holy Spirit is the ONE TRUE and ONLY PERSONAL Almighty God the Father who LOVES you.

Let us begin this next section of this study in God’s word to PROVE that the Holy Spirit is the FATHER who IS the ONE ETERNAL INVISIBLE SPIRIT by whom ALL things were created.

The Holy Spirit is a PERSON!

Almighty God the Father is SPIRIT

And the Holy Spirit is obviously SPIRIT! 

And the word of TRUTH clearly and plainly teaches us in SIMPLICITY with NO interpretation needed that there is just ONE SPIRIT. 

Please read Ephesians 4:3-6.

“Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (It would make no sense whatsoever to say, endeavoring to keep the unity of the FORCE use by God)

Ephesians 4:4. There is one body, and ONE Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

Ephesians 4:5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Ephesians 4:6. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

Now, it may appear or SEEM that there are THREE to Trinitarian Christians.

But in truth, in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God, we can clearly see that there is ONLY the one Lord Jesus Christ who was MADE both Lord and Christ BY the ONE TRUE and only ALMIGHTY God, who ALONE is the FATHER of ALL, according to Acts 2:36.

All Christians know and understand that the Holy Spirit dwells in us.

But obviously, not all Christians understand that the ONE Spirit is Almighty God the Father who DWELLS in us as being the ONE eternal Holy Spirit Himself, as in, a PORTION of Himself.

We do not have TWO separate divine eternal Spirit beings DWELLING IN us as Christians. 

But rather, the Bible itself teaches us that we are the temple of God. 

In other words, we clearly believe that God dwells in us, according to 1 John 4:15. 

1 John 4:15.

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.”

And we clearly see that the Spirit OF God dwells in us in 1 Corinthians 3:16. 

1 Corinthians 3:16.  

“Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”  

It is the self-same Holy Spirit of Almighty God the FATHER who dwells in us as believers. 

Almighty God is ONE BEING in ONE PERSON who is called by the NAME or TITLE, the Holy Spirit. 

God is SPIRIT. God is HOLY and Spirit is ONE BEING in ONE PERSON who is the FATHER. 

The ONE God in one PERSON is the FATHER. So, therefore, to ME, the Holy Spirit is the ONE God and FATHER of ALL.

For you see, verse 6 here in Ephesians 4:3-6, clearly teaches us that the ONE God and FATHER is in us as believers. a\

And we know that it is the Holy Spirit who DWELLS in us as believers. 

Therefore, the ONE SPIRIT is the ONE God and Father.

For you see, nowhere in the Bible are we taught that BOTH Almighty God the Father AND His Holy Spirit dwells in us. 

There is only ONE SPIRIT that dwells in us and that ONE Spirit is the ONE God, who alone is the FATHER. 

The Bible says that God is SPIRIT. And God is HOLY. Jesus said, be you Holy even as your Father in heaven is HOLY.

So again, the ONE SPIRIT is Almighty God the FATHER HIMSELF, the HIGHEST, the MOST-HIGH God. 

Also, consider 1 Corinthians 12:1-14.

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

1 Corinthians 12:2. You know that you were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as you were led.

1 Corinthians 12:3. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man SPEAKING by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 12:4. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the SAME Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:5. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:6. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the SAME God which works all in all.

1 Corinthians 12:7. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

1 Corinthians 12:8. For to one is given BY the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the SAME Spirit;

1 Corinthians 12:9. To another faith by the SAME Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the SAME Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:10. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kind of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

1 Corinthians 12:11. But all these WORKS that ONE and the SELF-SAME Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will. (Now, when we compare this verse with verse 6 where the SAME God which WORKS ALL in all, then we can see that the SAME God and the SAME Spirit are ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING who ALONE IS the FATHER)

1 Corinthians 12:12. For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (The Greek word translated as Christ also means ANOINTING. 

So just as the body of Christ, the church has many members so also does the ANOINTING of the Almighty God, speaking of the ANOINTING, as in, the INDWELLING of Almighty God the Father in Christians as an EARNEST of His Holy Spirit. 

Can you not see that Almighty God the Father DWELT in the Son of MAN, Jesus, who is called the CHRIST, the ANOINTED ONE, according to John 14:10?

Can you not see that our heavenly Father is a PERSON and not just a FORCE used by us? 

The word Christ in this verse is NOT speaking of Jesus the SON OF God actually being that one and self-same eternal SPIRIT himself. 

But rather, this verse is teaching us that the SAME Holy Spirit who DWELT in Jesus now dwells in us because the Holy Spirit can be MANY members at the same time to be able to dwell in EVERY believer at the SAME time)

1 Corinthians 12:13. For (Or BECAUSE) by ONE Spirit are we all baptized into one body, (Teaching us that we are baptized or submersed into ONE and the SELF-SAME ANOINTING WHO dwelt in our Lord Jesus, THE CHRIST, as in, Jesus the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God. So then) whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into ONE Spirit. (And that ONE SPIRIT is Almighty God the FATHER Himself who is the Father of ALL)

1 Corinthians 12:14. For the body is not one member, but many.”

In other words, the one body of the church is made up of many members meaning that we all have different JOBS or works that the ONE SPIRIT leads and guides us to do. 

And in the SAME way, the ONE SPIRIT is DESCRIBED as being made up of many members in like manner as the human body having HANDS, FINGERS, NOSTRILS, a MOUTH, and even a MIND. 

But yet, in the same manner, as the body of a human being having a “hand”, the HAND is NOT a SEPARATE person from the human body. But rather, our hand is a PART of our OWN BEING.

 And likewise, the hand of the Lord being upon Elijah is NOT a SEPARATE divine eternal Spirit person from the ONE divine being, Almighty God the creator of all things. 

But rather, the Eternal Spirit is the Eternal invisible God called the FATHER.

Here in this passage of Scripture that we just read, the writer of 1 Corinthians 12:1-14 INTERCHANGES the words and phrases of God and Spirit. 

For you see, they are speaking of the ONE ETERNAL Almighty God who is SPIRIT. 

1 Corinthians 12:1-14.

Spirit OF God in verse 3.

SAME Spirit in verse 4.

SAME God in verse 6.

BY the Spirit in verse 8.

SAME Spirit in verse 8,9.

ONE and the SELF-SAME Spirit in verse 11.

ONE Spirit in verse 13. 

All these phrases are speaking of the ONE and SELF-SAME Almighty God the FATHER of ALL who is SPIRIT. 

Please read John 4:23-26 where Almighty God the Father is made known to us by His Son Jesus as being a SPIRIT.

Also, Jesus is the CHRIST or the ANOINTED ONE whom God appointed and empowered to be the MESSIAH by his God and Father the ONE Spirit.

John 4:23-26.

“But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.

John 4:24. God is a SPIRIT: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH. (The LITERAL translation of John 4:23,24 says, “...for the Father seeks such to worship HIM SPIRIT THE GOD…”.

 And this clearly shows us that Almighty God the Father is a SPIRIT and not just “A” Spirit. 

But rather, THE ONE Eternal Spirit who has always existed without a beginning is Yahweh, the Creator. 

Again, the Bible teaches us that there is but ONE Spirit and that Almighty God the Father is that ONE Spirit)

John 4:25. The woman said unto him, I know that Messiah comes, which is called CHRIST: when he has come, he will tell us all things.

John 4:26. Jesus said unto her, I that speak unto you am he.”

In other words, Jesus is saying that he is the CHRIST or the ANOINTED ONE, the Messiah that was prophesied to come. 

And in this same CONTEXT, Jesus teaches us that the FATHER is SPIRIT. 

The context also teaches that Almighty God the Father seeks worshipers to worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. 

To say this another way Jesus is saying of himself that he is the CHRIST, the ANOINTED ONE of God, the Messiah prophesied to come. 

In other words, Jesus is saying that the ONE SPIRIT of the TRUE SPIRIT of God DWELT in him to empower him to do the mighty works of healing that his God and Father SENT him out into the world to do.

And God did that to SHOW us the true nature and the true character of Himself, Almighty God the FATHER, the Eternal Spirit who dwelt in His human Son, Jesus, according to Hebrews 9:14 and John 14:10. 

When Jesus said to Philip that “if you have seen me, you have seen the Father” Jesus was NOT saying that he IS the Father. 

But rather, Jesus is saying that if you want to know the true nature and character of my God and Father then look at the works that I do because the Father dwelling in me is the one who does those works. 

I can do NOTHING OF MYSELF. It is the Father dwelling in me who does the work. So if you do not believe my words at least believe the WORKS.

So then, for ME, I see that the word of TRUTH teaches us that Almighty God the Father is a SPIRIT and that the Father DWELT IN the Son of MAN, Jesus, to empower Jesus to heal people and live his life without sin.

Again, I see that this ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT who DWELT IN his SON Jesus, empowered his SON Jesus, to OVERCOME sin in order to present himself to his God and Father as a sinless spotless lamb that was slain for our sins. 

And not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world that whosoever believes that Jesus is the CHRIST, the SON OF Almighty God might be saved. 

And then Almighty God the Father would DWELL IN us as well to empower US to OVERCOME sin by the SAME Holy Spirit who dwelt IN Jesus.

Now that you have seen just SOME of the evidence from God's word that PLAINLY and CLEARLY teaches us that Almighty God the Father and the eternal Holy Spirit are ONE and the SELF-SAME divine immortal being or PERSON. 

Let us continue reading the arguments used by the Jehovah's Witnesses to TRY and prove that the Holy Spirit is NOT a person or divine being, but rather, to THEM, the Holy Spirit is nothing more than an IMPERSONAL “FORCE” or “POWER” used by God. Again the emphasis is my own.

The Bible also refers to God’s holy spirit as his “hands” or “fingers.” (Psalm 8:3; 19:1; Luke 11:20; compare Matthew 12:28.) Just as a craftsman uses his hands and fingers to do his work, God has used his spirit to produce such results as the following:

• The universe.—Psalm 33:6; Isaiah 66:1, 2.

• The Bible.—2 Peter 1:20, 21.

• The miracles performed by his ancient servants and their zealous preaching.—Luke 4:18; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

• The fine qualities displayed by people who obey him.—Galatians 5:22, 23. 

The holy spirit is not a person 

BY referring to God’s spirit as his “hands,” “fingers,” or “breath,” the Bible shows that the holy spirit is NOT a person. (Exodus 15:8, 10) A craftsman’s hands cannot function independently of his mind and body; likewise, God’s holy spirit operates only as he directs it. (Luke 11:13) 

The Bible also compares God’s spirit to water and associates it with such things as faith and knowledge. These comparisons all point to the impersonal nature of the holy spirit.—Isaiah 44:3; Acts 6:5; 2 Corinthians 6:6.

Now, in TRUTH, does anyone ever refer to or speak of their hands, feet, eyes, nose, mouth, fingers, or any other part of their OWN body as NOT being a PART of THEMSELVES? 

Absolutely NOT! Your hands are YOUR hands and my hands are MY hands. And neither your hand or my hand is a SEPARATE person from us. 

So then, if a PERSON'S hands show LOVE or HATE then it is the PERSON who is the one showing either LOVE or HATE by their ACTIONS or by the words that they speak. 

ALL the parts of our body are different members of the body and they are ALL a part of the self-same PERSON, our very own BEING.

Jesus said that we are to love the Lord our God will ALL our being which consists of our mind, our soul, and our bodies which include all the parts of our body that express our nature and character. 

So the argument raised by the Jehovah’s Witness to TRY to prove that the Holy Spirit is NOT a person actually PROVES that the Holy Spirit IS a PERSON and that the Holy Spirit IS the Father Himself who uses his own BEING of Spirit to express Himself.

 Please read Luke 10:27.

“And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, AND with all your soul, AND with all your strength,(Speaking of your inner man and your outer man, the physical body) AND with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”

Now, these are all different descriptions of the different parts of the SELF-SAME BEING or PERSON. The HAND of the Lord is NOT a SEPARATE divine eternal being or person APART from Almighty God the Father HIMSELF. 

But rather the hand of the Lord, being God's SPIRIT is ONE and the SELF-SAME DIVINE ETERNAL BEING as Almighty God, the Father.

Listen to what your own words are saying dear children of God who are a Jehovah's Witness or a Christian who has been taught that the Eternal Holy Spirit is nothing more than an IMPERSONAL “FORCE” OR “POWER”.

 A craftsman’s hands cannot function independently of his mind and body; likewise, God’s holy spirit operates only as he directs it.

And God is the master craftsman. Almighty God the Father ALONE is the ETERNAL divine craftsman who created all things ALONE and by himself. God IS SPIRIT. 

And this ETERNAL Holy Spirit who IS GOD created all things out of himself. Please read the study DID God CREATE ALL Things Out of NOTHING? 

The Holy Spirit God is LIKENED to having a body because this is something that HUMANS can at least have some idea of what SPIRIT truly is.

Let us move on to the next argument used by the Jehovah's Witnesses as well as other church denominations that dogmatically demand that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON. 

But rather that the Holy Spirit is merely an IMPERSONAL “FORCE” or “POWER” that is used by God. Again, is not our HAND used by the PERSON to which the hand BELONGS as being a PART of them? 

The Bible gives the names of Jehovah God and of his Son, Jesus Christ; yet, nowhere does it name the holy spirit. (Isaiah 42:8;Luke 1:31). 

When the Christian martyr Stephen was given a miraculous heavenly vision, he saw only two persons, not three. 

The Bible says: “He, being full of the holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand.” (Acts 7:55) 

The holy spirit was God’s power in action, enabling Stephen to see the vision. 

It is very obvious to me that all the church denominations that dogmatically demand that the Holy Spirit is NOT a PERSON, have ERRED in their ZEAL to disprove the doctrine of the “TRINITY” by their trying to disprove that the Holy Spirit is NOT a DISTINCT person, apart from Almighty God the Father and his SON Jesus, by wrongly concluding that the Holy Spirit must, without fail, NOT be a PERSON at all. 

Otherwise, in THEIR eyes, the doctrine of the Trinity would be proven correct. In other words, in THEIR attempt to try and prove that the Holy Spirit is NOT a THIRD DISTINCT PERSON apart from Almighty God the Father and his SON Jesus they have WRONGLY concluded that the Holy Spirit must, without fail, be NO person at all.

In TRUTH, in their zeal to disprove the THREE persons in one God they OVERLOOKED the FACT that the Holy Spirit IS the FATHER. 

Please read the study WHY the HOLY SPIRIT is the FATHER! and The HOLY SPIRIT is NOT the THIRD PERSON of the TRINITY! for all the verses that prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Holy Spirit is Almighty God the Father HIMSELF being the ONE and ONLY ETERNAL SPIRIT.

So I agree, that the Bible itself does indeed teach us that there are only TWO separate distinct persons and NOT THREE persons as the doctrine of the Trinity falsely teaches. 

And these TWO separate and distinctly DIFFERENT persons are Almighty God the Father AND his SON Jesus. 

The Apostles and disciples of Jesus knew and UNDERSTOOD that the eternal Holy Spirit IS the Father and that is WHY the Holy Spirit is NOT given a SEPARATE NAME.

It would be nonsensical to give TWO different names to the ONE and SELF-SAME divine eternal being called God, who IS SPIRIT. 

Keep reading and you will see that the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, interchanges Almighty God the Father and the Holy Spirit, because the writers of the New Testament knew and understood that Almighty God the Father IS one and the self-same divine eternal being as the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit IS one and the self-same being as Almighty God the Father. 

They are one and the same divine eternal SPIRIT being called GOD. ONLY Almighty God the Father is said to have always been IMMORTAL.

God IS SPIRIT and the Spirit is said to be ETERNAL. So, therefore. Almighty God the Father IS the ETERNAL divine Spirit. And the same eternal Spirit, who empowered Jesus to overcome sin, according to Hebrew 9:14.

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, (Speaking of HUMAN ANOINTED Son of MAN, Jesus, who is SON OF Almighty God the Father. 

You see, Almighty God the Father ANOINTED Jesus TO EMPOWER him to accomplish the task that his God and Father commissioned him to do by DWELLING IN his SON Jesus) WHO (Speaking of Jesus the Son of MAN in whom DWELT his God and Father the ETERNAL SPIRIT. 

That is to say the Son of MAN, Jesus) THROUGH the eternal Spirit (Speaking of the ONE eternal Holy Spirit, Almighty God the FATHER himself, who is SPIRIT and who ALONE is IMMORTAL and who DWELT IN Jesus to EMPOWER him to overcome sin) offered himself without spot TO God, (In other words, Jesus, the Son of MAN, lived his life WITHOUT sin THROUGH the power and strength that he received by his God and Father who DWELT IN him to live his life without sin and die on the cross for our sins. 

And not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world so that WHOSOEVER believes that Jesus is the CHRIST, the SON OF the living God might be saved. 

And NOW this SAME Holy eternal SPIRIT that DWELLS IN YOU as a believer shall) purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Here in this passage of Scripture, we learn that the Holy Spirit of Almighty God the Father is an ETERNAL SPIRIT. 

Now let us read 1 Timothy 6:13-16 where we are clearly and plainly taught that Almighty God the Father ONLY has IMMORTALITY or an ETERNAL self-existing divine nature with everlasting LIFE within himself as the SOURCE of all life, the Father of us all, including His Son Jesus who came to show us the FATHER.

1 Timothy 6:13-16.

“I give you charge in the sight of God, (Speaking of Almighty God the Father) who quickens all things, (Or who makes alive all things, as in, who gives life to all things) AND before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession (Again, we see ONLY TWO who are Almighty God the Father AND his SON, CHRIST Jesus or the ANOINTED ONE Jesus. 

In other words, the vast majority of the New Testament ONLY speaks of TWO, the Father, AND his SON Jesus whom we must believe in BOTH. 

For if we do NOT have the SON then we do NOT have the FATHER. We are never taught anywhere in God's word that we must believe in THREE. 

And the reason is that there are ONLY TWO, Almighty God the Father who IS the ETERNAL SPIRIT AND his SON Jesus. And Jesus came to SHOW us his God and Father to be the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God. And Timothy is giving us a CHARGE).

I Timothy 6:14. That you keep THIS commandment (The word translated as commandment here in this verse means principle or TEACHING. So then, we are given the charge to keep this TEACHING) without spot, UNREBUKEABLE, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

I Timothy 6:15. Which in his times he (Speaking of the first and second comings of Jesus that Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the Father) shall SHOW, WHO is the blessed and ONLY Potentate, (In other words, Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the Father came to SHOW us the FATHER, who is the ONLY SOVEREIGN Almighty God, who reigns over ALL including reigning over his SON Jesus. 

To say this another way Jesus came so that we might KNOW the FATHER as the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God who is) the King of kings, and Lord of lords; (Now, I know many of us have been taught that Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and this is true. But it is NOT the WHOLE TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God. The TRUTH of the matter is that Almighty God the FATHER is THE KING who is King of ALL kings including being King, Lord, and God OVER his SON Jesus. 

For you see, it was the Father who made the Son of MAN, Jesus to become the King of kings and the Lord of Lords over all the earth in the world to come. 

For all the Scriptures that teach what I just said, please read the study Revelation 17:14 WHO IS THE KING OF KINGS?

But for now, just know that the WHO that Jesus came to SHOW us is the FATHER to be the ONLY TRUE God, according to John 17:3)

I Timothy 6:16. WHO ONLY has IMMORTALITY, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; WHOM no man has SEEN, NOR CAN SEE: (Here in verse 16, we are CLEARLY and PLAINLY taught that the WHO that Jesus came to SHOW is the INVISIBLE ETERNAL SPIRIT whom Jesus calls the FATHER as being the ONLY SOVEREIGN ALMIGHTY God who ALONE has IMMORTALITY) to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”

So then, since ONLY the INVISIBLE God whom NO man has ever seen, nor CAN see is the ONLY ONE who is ETERNAL or IMMORTAL, then this means that the INVISIBLE God is ALSO the ONLY one who is SOVEREIGN. 

And that means that the Father is OVER and ABOVE ALL, including being over His Son Jesus. So then, this means that the FATHER is the one who is being spoken of in this passage of Scripture as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. 

For you see, the Father is the ETERNAL King who is INVISIBLE, according to 1 Timothy 1:17, and Jesus is NOT invisible. Jesus was MADE in the IMAGE OF the invisible God.

Please read 1 Timothy 1:17.

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, INVISIBLE, the ONLY wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Now since there is ONLY ONE who is IMMORTAL or ETERNAL who is an INVISIBLE SPIRIT seeing that God is SPIRIT, then we must conclude that Almighty God the FATHER is the ETERNAL SPIRIT who DWELT is His SON Jesus.

So then, ACCORDING to the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, we have ONLY TWO separate persons or beings and NOT THREE as those who teach the false doctrine of the “TRINITY” dogmatically demand that there are THREE persons of the Godhead.

But yet the word of TRUTH clearly and plainly teaches us that Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the Father did NOT possess ETERNAL LIFE or IMMORTALITY UNTIL his God and Father GAVE the Son of MAN, Jesus. the same eternal or immortal LIFE that the Father HIMSELF has always possessed from all eternity.

Please read John 5:15-32, which clearly teaches us that Jesus did NOT possess eternal life UNTIL his God and Father GAVE TO his Son Jesus the same eternal life that the Father himself possessed within himself.

John 5:15-32.

“The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

John 5:16. And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to SLAY him, BECAUSE he had done these things ON the Sabbath day. (Here again, we see the Jews wanted to KILL Jesus, but this time it was because to them Jesus SUPPOSEDLY broke the Sabbath day. 

At least in the eyes of the Pharisees, when Jesus healed a man BY the Holy Spirit of Almighty God the Father ON the Sabbath day)

John 5:17. BUT Jesus answered them, My Father WORKS hitherto, and I work. (In other words, Jesus is saying BUT I am ONLY OBEYING what my Father is SHOWING me to DO. 

Further down in this study you will understand that this means that the Father through His own being of the Holy Spirit was showing Jesus what to do and when to do it. 

And the anointed Son of MAN, Jesus, simply OBEYED the leading of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. 

In simple words, Jesus was saying I am only doing what Almighty God my Father told me to do)

John 5:18. Therefore (Or for this REASON of Jesus simply obeying the voice of Almighty God dwelling in him) the JEWS sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath but said ALSO that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. (In other words, the JEWS incorrectly interpreted the words of Jesus and FALSELY ACCUSED Jesus of making himself EQUAL to Almighty God. 

But as you will plainly see as you continue to read the CONTEXT that Jesus ANSWERED in his DEFENSE the FOLLOWING)

John 5:19. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do NOTHING OF HIMSELF, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise. (In other words, Jesus is saying, I am NOT making myself EQUAL with my God and Father as you falsely accuse me of doing because the SON can do NOTHING OF HIMSELF. 

But I must OBEY my God and Father to DO whatever my Father is DOING. 

That is to say, whatever Jesus the Son of MAN saw in a dream or in a vision or in the written word of God and whatever Jesus heard the Father say to do by the inward voice of the Holy Spirit, then Jesus simply OBEYED what he knew that the Father was telling him to do. 

This is what Jesus meant when he said his Father was WORKING on the Sabbath day and so I also must work the same works that I see my Father doing on the Sabbath day. 

Now to ME, this DEFENSE that Jesus makes right after the Jews FALSELY ACCUSE him of making himself EQUAL with God clearly teaches us that Jesus was in NO WAY claiming to be the great I AM THAT I AM in Exodus 3:14. 

Nor was Jesus making himself to be EQUAL WITH Almighty God the Father because Jesus HIMSELF clearly and plain said that the SON can do NOTHING OF HIMSELF. 

Further on in this same context, you will learn that it was the Father DWELLING in Jesus the SON who actually did the WORKS that the SON could NOT do OF HIMSELF.)

John 5:20. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all things that HIMSELF does:(Here Jesus is saying that it is the FATHER dwelling IN him as being the WHO that is doing the WORK. 

But elsewhere in the Bible, we can clearly see that it is the eternal Holy Spirit who is dwelling IN Jesus that HIMSELF referring to the Eternal Spirit does the works. 

There were NOT TWO separate persons or two divine eternal SPIRITS dwelling in Jesus. 

But rather, there is the ONE eternal SPIRIT whom Jesus calls the FATHER, the ONE true and ONLY Almighty God) and He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

John 5:21. For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son quickens whom he will.

John 5:22. For the Father judges no man, but has COMMITTED  all judgment unto the Son:

John 5:23. That (Or so that) all men should HONOR the Son, EVEN AS they HONOR the Father. He that honors NOT the Son honors NOT the Father which has SENT him. (In other words, the Bible teaches us that we must believe and have BOTH the Father AND the SON in order to have ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come.

 But yet the doctrine of the Trinity dogmatically demands us to believe that Jesus is the I AM, as in, Jesus is ONE and the self-SAME BEING as the GREAT I AM that I AM, YAHWEH Himself. 

Yes, there is absolutely no doubt that Jesus came OUT FROM the one true and only ALMIGHTY God. 

But this by no means teaches us that Jesus IS the one true and ONLY ALMIGHTY God Himself. 

You see, THE ALMIGHTY God has NO beginning and has NOT been BEGOTTEN. 

But Jesus, the SON of Almighty God, was BEGOTTEN or brought into existence by the only true God. 

Yes, there is no doubt that Jesus came OUT FROM Almighty God by or through the spoken WORD of Almighty God that came forth OUT FROM the MOUTH of God. 

But again, this does not mean that Jesus is Almighty God Yahweh Himself. 

You see God said in Exodus 3:14, “I AM THAT I AM” which LITERALLY means that Almighty God said, “I SHALL BECOME who I am BECOMING”.

 And the LITERAL meaning of Exodus 3:14 could very well be interpreted that Almighty God HIMSELF literally BECAME a HUMAN BEING. 

But in the light of the WHOLE word of God, we understand that God created all things by His very own spoken WORD.

John 5:24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that SENT me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (All through the New Testament we see TWO in whom we are taught to believe in to be saved. And those two separate beings are Almighty God the Father AND His SON Jesus.

 Please read the study DOES HEBREWS 1:10 PROVE THAT JESUS IS YAHWEH? 

That study will give you an even deeper understanding that the ETERNAL SPIRIT is Almighty God the Father HIMSELF who is a SPIRIT and that Jesus is the SON OF Almighty God the Father who ALONE is the eternal Holy Spirit.)

John 5:25. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. (Jesus has the POWER to raise the dead because the God OF Jesus GAVE the Son of MAN, Jesus, this authority AFTER the cross which you will clearly see in the context of this verse that follows)

John 5:26. For (Or BECAUSE) AS the Father has life in Himself; SO has He GIVEN to the Son to HAVE (Literally meaning to BE HAVING) life IN himself; (In other words, Jesus as the SON of God, did NOT always eternally exist with or by the side of his God and Father from all eternity past except in the mind and plan of Almighty God. 

Everything that Jesus is, or has, was GIVEN TO him BY his God and Father the one true and only ALMIGHTY God. 

In other words, John 1:1 says that the WORD, the LOGOS, or the SAYING was with God in a beginning and NOT that Jesus or the Son was with the Almighty God in a beginning.

John 5:27. And has GIVEN him authority to execute judgment ALSO, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN. (In other words, all that Jesus is, or has, was GIVEN TO him BY his God and Father.

And it was NOT because Jesus is THE Almighty God, NOR was it because Jesus was the SON OF GOD. 

But rather, the REASON that Jesus was HIGHLY EXALTED and GIVEN a NAME above all names is that Jesus is the Son of MAN who OVERCAME the enemy of God to fulfill God's plan of redemption for mankind. 

According to Matthew 28:18. the Son of MAN, Jesus, was given all power and authority AFTER the cross. 

Please read Matthew 28:18. “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is GIVEN unto me in heaven and in the earth.” 

Even the power and the authority to give eternal life to whosoever Jesus decides is worthy to receive eternal life. 

That is why Yahweh PROPHESIED a warning to kiss the SON, according to Psalm 2:12. 

For you see, God the Father has COMMITTED all JUDGMENT to the now highly exalted glorified Son of MAN, Jesus)

John 5:28. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, (Again, all that Jesus is and all that Jesus has INCLUDING IMMORTAL LIFE and the AUTHORITY to raise the dead, and give to whom so ever Jesus wills eternal life, was GIVEN TO him BY HIS God and Father, the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God. 

Remember that Almighty God said I AM THAT I AM, or I will BE what I will BE, or I shall BECOME what or who I am BECOMING. 

The WORD BECAME a HUMAN BEING so that Almighty God HIMSELF could DWELL in the HUMAN body of FLESH of Hos HUMAN Son that Yahweh created for himself to dwell in, which was the SON OF Almighty God the Father. 

This is NOT Oneness Pentecostal teaching because THEY wrongly teach that Jesus is that Father and NOT a separate distinctly different person FROM the Father. 

During the days of his flesh during his ministry, Jesus could do NOTHING OF himself. 

Rather, Jesus OBEYED whatever the Eternal Spirit told him to do and when Jesus obeyed the Holy Spirit then the SPIRIT did the healing. 

And when we obey the leading of the Holy Spirit it is not us who does the healing but rather it is God dwelling IN us who does the healing.

Jesus was GIVEN all POWER to raise the dead and JUDGMENT to give ETERNAL LIFE to whomsoever he wills AFTER the cross BECAUSE Jesus was the Son of MAN and NOT because Jesus was FULLY God, nor because Jesus was the SON of God. 

But rather, BECAUSE Jesus was the Son of MAN, a HUMAN BEING that OVERCAME the enemy BY the Holy Spirit of Almighty God who DWELT in Jesus. 

This is what the WHOLE word of God clearly teaches us)

John 5:29. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 5:30. I can OF MY OWN SELF DO NOTHING: (Simply ask yourself the question HOW can the TRUE God do NOTHING in and of HIMSELF? I mean THINK this through for yourself. 

If so be that Jesus was truly fully Almighty God HIMSELF in the flesh then HOW is it that THE Almighty God himself in the flesh can do NOTHING in and of himself? 

The TRUTH of the matter is that Jesus is NOT the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God, who is the FATHER ALONE. 

The truth of what the Bible ITSELF teaches us is that Almighty God the Father DWELT IN the Son of MAN Jesus. 

And the TRUE God dwelling IN him was the one who actually did the WORKS through the human hands of his SON Jesus) as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek NOT mine OWN will, BUT the will of the Father which has SENT me. (Now, in all honesty, does this sound like Jesus is saying that he himself is the great I AM, or that Jesus is saying that he is EQUAL to Almighty God the Father? 

Absolutely NOT! Jesus himself clearly and plainly said with absolutely NO interpretation needed that he could do NOTHING in and of himself. 

Can you not see my dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, that IF Jesus were TRULY the Almighty God Himself or even EQUAL with Almighty God during the days of his flesh, then Jesus would have never said that he could do NOTHING of HIMSELF)

John 5:31. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

John 5:32. There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which He witnesses of me, is true.”

This other witness is Almighty God the Father teaching the Son of man, Jesus, that he is the one PROPHESIED to come. 

This is why Jesus told his disciples to NOT tell anyone that he is the Christ, the anointed Messiah. Jesus wanted the FATHER to reveal this truth to them by the WORKS that God Himself was doing through him.

The truth of the matter is that everything that Jesus is, or has, was GIVEN TO him BY his God and Father the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the INVISIBLE ETERNAL SPIRIT who ONLY has IMMORTALITY. 

That is to say, the only one who is able to GIVE eternal life to others, until the day that He gave the Son of MAN, Jesus, to be HAVING LIFE in himself EVEN AS the Father has LIFE in himself. 

Now, at this present time, only these TWO separate persons have IMMORTALITY in themselves UNTIL that great and notable day to the coming of Jesus and his Father with him. 

And then, at the COMING of Jesus, all the saints in Jesus Christ will be given eternal life by Jesus. 

In other words, to all the faithful believers who have endured until the end, both the dead in Christ and those alive at his coming, Jesus will give eternal life to rule and reign with him for 1000 years in the world to come. 

Yes, I realize that church tradition teaches that the angels cannot die either, but the Bible is all about God's NEW CREATION of righteous immortal HUMANS to replace Lucifer and the fallen angels that God will destroy in the Lake of Fire. 

So, the order of those in authority as rulers in the world yet to come will be Yahweh the HIGHEST and only TRUE God at the very top. 

Then Jesus will be second in command. Then the glorified saints at his coming will rule WITH Jesus who will be over us. 

Then those of Israel that will become saints during the Millennium will be like the upper class that will be the head and not the tail. 

In other words, the Jews will be the ruling class of mortal people. 

Then the Gentile nations who are potential saints if they choose Jesus to be saved will have privileges that the unsaved will not have. 

Then the angelic beings will be ministering spirits like they are in this present world. 

And the reason that I list the unsaved as yet, the Gentile nations during the Millennium, above the angels, is that the angels are the ministering spirits TO those who will inherit the New Earth after the 1000-year reign of Jesus. 

Again, this includes the yet unsaved who are POTENTIAL inheritors of the New Earth that will be created after the earth melts with fervent heat and passes away. 

That is to say, if they make the right choice to choose life and obey Jesus. 

Think of the Millennial age as another church age so to speak with another harvest of saints at the end of the 1000 year reign of Jesus. 

And instead of the Jews being hated and persecuted the Gentile nation will go to the Jews to learn about Yahweh and His Son Jesus. 

And instead of an invisible God that they can not see, Jesus will be ruling FOR Yahweh in the NAME OF Yahweh as the VISIBLE IMAGE of Yahweh with ALL the power of Yahweh behind the highly exalted and now glorified Son of Man, Jesus.

Again, the majority of the New Testament speaks of ONLY TWO “PERSONS” or ONLY TWO distinctly DIFFERENT and SEPARATE beings who are NOT ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING. 

But rather, they are one in AGREEMENT and one in UNITY. 

And these TWO different persons are Almighty God the Father, Yahweh Himself, AND the SON OF Almighty God the Father, Jesus or Yeshua in the Hebrew pronunciation in English. 

I have been using the name of Jesus all my born-again Christian life and Satan fears the name of Jesus. 

So do not get caught up in the so-called “correct” name of Almighty God or His Son Jesus. 

Personally, I do not use the name “Jehovah” and I prefer Yahweh, but I will not judge other Christians for using “Jehovah”.

Throughout the ENTIRE New Testament, the writers made very clear distinctions between Almighty God the Father, and His Son Jesus. 

For example, in all the greetings to the church, we do NOT see any mention of the Holy Spirit. In other words, we ONLY see TWO who are distinctly being spoken of as two separate persons. 

To say this another way, every greeting to the church only mentions the Father and Jesus. AND the Father and Jesus are ALWAYS clearly identified as two SEPARATE persons and NEVER as one and the SELF-SAME person of being. 

And this is one of the reasons WHY Trinitarian Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity OVER the false teaching of Modalism or ONENESS who dogmatically demand and insist that Jesus is ONE and the SELF-SAME DIVINE ETERNAL BEING as the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER, Yahweh HIMSELF. 

Oneness Pentecostal Christians call Jesus a MANIFESTATION or a MODE of God where Yahweh revealed Himself in a different fashion of HIMSELF in human form. 

And they wrongly and incorrectly teach that Jesus is NOT a LITERAL SEPARATE person from Almighty God the Father who is ONE God in ONE person.

But the word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, ALWAYS clearly and plainly DISTINGUISHES the TWO as being Father AND Son and never as being ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING. Please consider the following verses of Scripture.

James 1:1.

“James a servant of God AND of the Lord Jesus.”

1 Corinthians 1:3.

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Here in this verse, God is CLEARLY identified as being the FATHER and the Lord is clearly identified as being Jesus Christ or Jesus the anointed one BY Almighty God the Father.

Galatians 1:1.

“Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ AND God the FATHER who raised him from the dead;)”

Galatians 1:3.  

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, AND FROM our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Ephesians 1:2.

“Grace be to you and peace from God our FATHER AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Romans 1:7.  

“To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

2 Corinthians 1:2.  

“Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Philippians 1:2.  

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Colossians 1:2.  

“To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

2 Thessalonians 1:2.  

“Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Timothy 1:2.  

“Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father AND Jesus Christ our Lord.”

2 Timothy 1:2.  

“To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father AND Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Titus 1:4.  

“To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.”

Philemon 1:3.  

“Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Thessalonians 1:1.

“Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is IN God the Father AND IN the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, AND the Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Timothy 1:1,2.

“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Savior, AND Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope. Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father AND Jesus Christ our Lord.”

1 John 1:3.

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, AND WITH His Son Jesus Christ.”
