Book 2 Chapter 1.
Does the phrase “the Son of God” when referring to Jesus dogmatically mean, without fail, that when Jesus was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, that Jesus was born with a DIVINE NATURE and a HUMAN nature?
What does the phrase in John 3:16, “God GAVE His only BEGOTTEN Son”, truly mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?
What does the phrase in John 3:17, “God SENT His only begotten Son INTO the world”, truly mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?
What does the phrase in John 3:18, “In the NAME of the only BEGOTTEN Son”, truly mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?
And again, what does the phrase “the Son of God” mean when referring to Jesus DURING the days of his FLESH, according to Hebrews 5:7?
Was the human Son of God born from the womb of the Virgin Mary as the DIVINE Son of God with a DIVINE NATURE to be FULLY God in the flesh as some Christians dogmatically teach?
Now, Trinitarian Christians “interpret” John 3:16-18, God GAVE His ONLY BEGOTTEN Son, to mean Almighty God GAVE His pre-existing Son, down from heaven.
But that would then mean that somehow, someway, that supposed God the Son had to be BEGOTTEN by God in the eternity past.
In other words, Trinitarian Christians interpret the phrase in John 3:17, “God SENT His only begotten Son” to mean that God sent down from heaven, God the Son, the second person of a Godhead Trinity God.
To say this another way, Trinitarian Christians dogmatically demand that God sent the only BEGOTTEN Son down from heaven INTO the earth to “incarnate” himself to become Almighty God the Son in the flesh.
But what does John 3:16-18 TRULY mean when these three verses of Scripture are correctly TRANSLATED and correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God?
For you see, we are reading a “TRANSLATION” of the original Greek text. And the Greek word “translated” as “GAVE” also means BROUGHT FORTH and RECEIVED His only BEGOTTEN Son.
In other words, God so loved the Kosmos, the whole earth and the whole universe, that He BROUGHT FORTH the Son of MAN, Jesus, from the DEAD and RECEIVED His Only BEGOTTEN Son from the DEAD up into heaven to be SEATED on His THRONE at His right hand.
To me, this is the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of John 3:16. And in this study of God’s word, I will show you why directly from the Scriptures.
Let us begin this study in God’s word by simply reading these three verses from the King James Version of the Bible.
But let us read them out of their context first, because that is the way that Trinitarian Christians use them.
I will emphasize the words that we will be taking a closer look at after you read these verses out of their CONTEXT.
John 3:16-18.
“For God so loved the world, that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17. For God SENT not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God.”
In John 3:16, the Greek word “gar” that is translated as “For” God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, ALSO means “BECAUSE God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son”.
In other words, we use the English word “FOR” in many instances like we use the word “BECAUSE”.
And thus, the CONTEXT preceding the word “FOR” in John 3:16 tells us the REASON FOR what is being said in John 3:16-18.
And the context in John 3:1-15 is about being born-again and how the Son of MAN MUST be lifted up on the cross to die for the sins of the world AND to be BORN-AGAIN.
And that reason is FOR or BECAUSE God so loved the world. God loved us while we were yet sinners.
It is our OWN sin that caused us to COME short of the GLORY that God desires all men to receive, according to Romans 3:23, 2 Thessalonians 2:14, 1 Peter 5:10, and John 17:20-24.
Please read John 3:14,15.
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so MUST the Son of MAN be lifted up: (So then, it was the HUMAN Son of God who suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the world and NOT a so-called God the Son himself in the flesh who died for our sins)
John 3:15. THAT (Or in order that) whosoever believes in him (The Son of MAN, Jesus who suffered and died on the cross) should not perish, but have eternal life.”
And when we truly consider the other meanings of the Greek word “didomi” that is translated as God “GAVE” His only begotten Son, then the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of the words “ONLY BEGOTTEN” can clearly be seen.
I say the TRUE sound Biblical meaning, because some FORMER or EX-Trinitarian Christians interpret the Scriptures with the words “only begotten” in them to mean that the Son of God MUST have been begotten by God in a LITERAL sense in the eternity past.
And they argue that God could not SEND His “ONLY BEGOTTEN” Son INTO the world if His Son did not yet exist until the Virgin birth.
Therefore, they conclude that the Son of God had to have been BEGOTTEN by God in the eternity past in order for a so-called pre-existing ONLY BEGOTTEN God the Son could be SENT in order for God the Son to manifested or incarnated in the flesh.
Now, the other Trinitarian Christians argue that the Son was somehow begotten WITHOUT being begotten, according to the Nicene creed. That creed states that the Son of God was “begotten not made”.
However, the actual meaning of the Greek word that is translated as “begotten” means to be made, and brought into existence.
And thus, Biblical Unitarian Christians teach that God COMMISSIONED His HUMAN Son and sent His ANOINTED Son out into the world to preach the coming of God’s kingdom.
Therefore, when we study this passage of Scripture in John 3:16-18 more closely, then you will also see and understand that the Greek word “didomi” has OTHER meanings.
And two of those other meanings are to BRING FORTH and to COMMIT.
So, let us read John 3:16 in its CONTEXT with these other meanings so that you can see the TRUE Jesus, according to the Bible itself.
A more correct translation of John 3:13-18.
“And no MAN has ASCENDED up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of MAN which is in heaven. (In other words, the HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus, ascended up into heaven on the morning that God raised him from the dead.
And then, EVEN the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN came down from heaven.
To say this another way, that “he” that came down from heaven was EVEN the Son of MAN who ascended into heaven.
However, the Son of MAN came down from heaven as the now GLORIFIED Son of MAN whom Almighty God MADE both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36 and many other verses of Scripture.
Then forty days later, the NOW highly exalted Son of MAN ascended back into heaven where he was before at the time when God gave him a NEW NAME and the divine nature of immortality on the DAY that God raised His HUMAN Son from the dead.
And now, Jesus is the ONLY Son who has been ETERNALLY begotten by God from the dead never to die again. And he is seated at the right hand of the Father on his God and Father’s throne)
John 3:14. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so MUST the Son of MAN be lifted up: (In other words, it was NECESSARY that a HUMAN Son of God had to suffer and die on the cross.
And to argue that Almighty God Himself, or that a so-called God the Son in the flesh died on the cross, is to make a LIE against the TRUTH of God’s word.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Son of MAN is called God until AFTER the cross and resurrection. Jesus is the FIRST Son, and right now, the ONLY human Son of God who has been BEGOTTEN from the dead GIVEN the divine nature of immortality to become the firstborn among many BRETHREN.
In other words, the Son of God was BORN-AGAIN from the dead to become God’s ONLY BEGOTTEN Son)
John 3:15. THAT (Or in order THAT) whosoever believes in him (Speaking of the Son of MAN, Jesus, being crucified on the cross to BECOME God’s ONLY BEGOTTEN Son) should not perish, but have eternal life. (And the REASON for why the Son of MAN was lifted up, and that whosoever BELIEVES in him shall NOT perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE is)
John 3:16. BECAUSE God so loved the world, that He BROUGHT FORTH His only begotten Son, (As in God BROUGHT forth His HUMAN mortal Son back again from the DEAD to become the FIRSTBORN of every creature, the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN.
And then, God so loved the world that he RECEIVED His only BEGOTTEN Son from the DEAD up into heaven to be GLORIFIED.
In other words, God delivered up or raised up His crucified human Son from the dead and COMMITTED all judgment into the hands of His SON, BECAUSE he is the Son of MAN, according to John 5:26,27) that whosoever believes in him (Speaking of the now resurrected GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17. BECAUSE God COMMISSIONED and dispatched not His Son (Speaking of God’s ADOPTED human Son) into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (Keep in mind that, according to John 17:14-20, which we will read in a moment, Jesus SENT his disciples INTO the world in the same way or even as God SENT His Son INTO the world)
John 3:18. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God.”
Let us go ahead and read John 17:14-20 before we look at WHEN the only BEGOTTEN Son of God was GIVEN a NEW NAME.
For you see, it was WHEN the human Son of God was given his NEW NAME that is also WHEN the human Son of God BECAME the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God.
Not the only begotten Son forever, but rather, the only begotten Son until the coming of Jesus when the firstborn of many BRETHREN will give us eternal life to BECOME the eternal sons of God as well.
And then, we who believe shall become the eternal sons of God as well, by being the children of the RESURRECTION, according to Luke 20:35,36, Romans 8:17-23, and 1 John 3:2.
Plus, there are many other passages of Scripture saying the say thing in different ways like 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.
Here is John 17:14-20 that I said we would read in a moment.
John 17:14-20.
“I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. (So then, how did we BECOME not of this world EVEN AS Jesus is not of this world?
It was when we OBEYED God’s word to be SANCTIFIED by God OBEYING God’s WORD that we BECAME the ADOPTED sons of God.
That is when we were given the power to BECOME the Sons of God, as in, the ETERNAL glorified Sons of God to inherit the worlds to come WITH the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN.
Some Christians have never been taught that Jesus had to OVERCOME the enemy before he was granted to be seated on his God and Father’s throne, according to Revelation 3:21,22)
John 17:15. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil.
John 17:16. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. (Again, WHEN did the human Son of MAN become NOT of the world EVEN AS we are not of the world.
It was WHEN the Son of MAN was SANCTIFIED in the Spirit by obeying his God and Father to be baptized by John the Baptist.
For you see, John baptized in water for the remission of sins. And it was right after the baptism of Jesus that the human Son of God was SENT into the world.
First to be TEMPTED by God’s enemy, and then to BEGIN his ministry to HELP his God and Father FINISH the work of making man in the IMAGE of God, according to John 4:34, John 5:36, John 17:4, John 19:30, Hebrews 12:2, Romans 8:29, and Genesis 1:26.
And the final act of obedience made by the human Son of God was to obey his God and Father’s Will to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the world)
John 17:17. Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth.
John 17:18. As You have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. (In other words, Jesus did NOT send his disciples INTO the world UNTIL they were ENDUED with POWER from on high, according to Luke 24:44-49 and Acts 1:4-9.
And God did NOT send His Son into the world UNTIL after God SANCTIFIED him and ANOINTED his human Son with the Holy Spirit and POWER from on high at the baptism by John the Baptist.
And thus, Jesus was BEGOTTEN as the adopted Son of God at his BAPTISM and endued with POWER from on high to BECOME the Son of God in the same way that WE need to be given that POWER to BECOME the sons of God, according to John 1:10-14,18.
That is why Jesus said in John 5:19,30 that the Son could do NOTHING of himself. Can you not see that the LIGHT DWELT in His human Son, Jesus?
And to not receive Jesus is the SAME as NOT receiving the FATHER. Jesus is NOT the Father.
But rather, it was the Father who DWELT in His human Son to give him the POWER to overcome sin and do the works of healing, according to John 14:10, 2 Corinthians 5:18-21, and many other verses of Scripture)
John 17:19. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, (And HOW did Jesus sanctify himself AFTER God SANCTIFIED His Son at the baptism by John the baptist for the REMISSION of sin?
Jesus sanctified himself by standing on God’s word of TRUTH quoting Scriptures to Satan. Jesus offered himself as a pure sacrifice unto God THROUGH the power of the Eternal Spirit dwelling in him, according to Hebrews 9:14) that they ALSO might be sanctified through the truth.
John 17:20. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;”
In chapter 2 of this Book 2 called “The TRUE Sound Biblical Meaning of Son of God!”, we will take a closer look at the Son of God being SANCTIFIED before God SENT His Son into the world.
And if you are a Trinitarian Christian, then you need to ask yourself the question, “Why would an already God the Son, who is fully God in the eternity past, need to be SANCTIFIED before God SENT His Only begotten Son into the world?”

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
