The word of PROPHECY was Made FLESH!
***What Does John 1:14-18 TRULY mean?
John 1:16. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

The HUMAN Son of God BECAME a DEITY After the Cross!
Does John 1:14-18 prove that Almighty God Himself became FLESH?
Let us begin 6 of this series of studies on John 1:1-18 by reading John 1:14-18 without any comments.
And if you have not read parts 1-5 of this study on John 1:1-18, you can find links to those studies under the heading Biblical Unitarian Meaning of John 1:1-18.
John 1:14-18.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:15. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
John 1:16. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
John 1:17. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:18. No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.”
The Oneness Pentecostal Christians “interpret” the Word in John 1:14 as being the spoken word of PROPHECY that was WITHIN the Almighty God.
And, to them, that is how God manifested Himself to become flesh, but yet REMAIN the fully Almighty God.
And thus, to them, Jesus was fully Almighty God Himself in the flesh having TWO natures at the SAME time DURING the days of his flesh, one DIVINE, and one human.
In other words, Oneness Pentecostal Christians believe that Jesus is the Father Himself.
They dogmatically demand that the ONE God in ONE person is Jesus, because they sincerely believe that Jesus is the FATHER Himself.
And Trinitarian Christians “interpret” the Word in John 1:14 as being a pre-existing Son of God who has always existed as God the Son, the second person of a Trinity Godhead.
And, to them, God the Son incarnated himself in the flesh or Almighty God Father manifested or incarnated His Son to be made flesh.
Either way, Trinitarian Christians believe that an eternal pre-existing Son of God having no beginning of any kind was sent down from heaven to be manifested as God the Son in the flesh.
And thus, to them, Jesus was fully Almighty God Himself in the flesh having TWO natures at the SAME time DURING the days of his flesh, one DIVINE, and one human.
And SOME Oneness Christians, such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses, they “interpret” the Word as being the CREATED Son of God in the eternity past.
And then, the Son of God created everything else in the universe, according to their INTERPRETATION of Colossians 1:15-17.
Thus, they believe that God sent down his created Son from heaven to be manifested in the flesh.
And in this group of Christians, SOME believe that the Son was made 100% human having no divine nature during the days of his flesh.
Again, the Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that God’s Son came into existence in the eternity past.
But yet other Christians who believe that God’s son was begotten in the eternity past believe that the Word made flesh means that Jesus was fully Almighty God and fully human at the SAME time during the days of his flesh having TWO natures at the SAME time, one divine and one human.
However, Biblical Unitarian Christians “interpret” the Word in John 1:1 as being God’s word of PROPHECY.
And thus, it was the word of PROPHECY that was FULFILLED or performed by Almighty God to be made FLESH.
Therefore, Jesus is the WORKMANSHIP of his God and Father.
So then, Biblical Unitarian Christians believe and teach that God’s Son CAME into existence for the first time at the virgin birth of Jesus.
And Almighty God this by fulfilling His spoken word of PROPHECY.
And thus, to BIBLICAL Unitarian Christians, Jesus was 100% FLESH having no divine nature during the days of his FLESH.
And therefore, it was the HUMAN Son of God whom his God and Father HIGHLY EXALTED to BECOME a deity after the cross and resurrection.
Let us go ahead and read the PROPHECY of both the days of the flesh of Jesus, AND the days of Jesus during the world to come.
And while you are reading this prophecy, please notice the ORDER in which the events are prophesied to come to pass.
Please read Isaiah 9:6,7.
“For (Order of event #1 that has already been FULFILLED) unto us, a CHILD is BORN, (THEN comes Order of event #2 that has also already been FULFILLED) unto us a son is given: (Speaking of the HUMAN Son of MAN, Jesus as the Son given as the ONE sacrifice for the sins of the world.
Yahweh provided His own Lamb that was slain in the mind of God from the foundation of the world.
God chose His Lamb to be made inferior to the angels so He made the human race a little lower than the angelic beings) and (And THEN Order of event #3 is YET FUTURE and it is YET to be FULFILLED) the government shall be upon his shoulder: (Which is the WRATH of God executed by Jesus. That is WHEN the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of God’s dear Son to begin the 1000 year reign of Jesus) and (THEN will come Order of event #4 that is YET FUTURE and it is YET to be FULFILLED, WHEN the government will be set upon the shoulder of Jesus DURING the world to come.
And at that TIME of the second coming of Jesus to begin the world to come) his NAME shall be CALLED Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, (Or more precisely, according to Hebrew 5:9, the father of everlasting life or the AUTHOR of eternal life.
For you see, BECAUSE the Son of man, Jesus, obeying his God and Father’s Will, made it possible for whosoever that believed in him would be saved.
Jesus was MADE perfect and he BECAME the father of eternal life AFTER the cross.
For you see, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN the authority and the power AFTER the cross to JUDGE and also to give eternal life to whomever he chooses.
This is why Psalms chapter 2 prophesied to kiss the feet of God’s Son whom He ordained or SET to be His King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus is also called) The Prince of Peace. (And, according to Revelation 1:5, Jesus is our Prince right now standing at the right hand of God.
But at his second coming, Jesus will SIT on the right hand of Yahweh to rule and reign FOR Yahweh in Yahweh’s NAME as the Lord of the Sabbath for 1000 years.
And at that time, the kingdoms of this present world will become the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. And)
Isaiah 9:7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
Also, please notice WHO is doing the PERFORMING of His own spoken word of PROPHECY that came forth OUT FROM His mouth.
It is Almighty God Yahweh the creator who is performing His own word.
So, to me, Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of the spoken word of PROPHECY.
Jesus began as a THOUGHT in God’s mind as God's secret plan of salvation.
Not just the salvation of mankind that He had not yet created, but also the RESTORATION of the entire universe back to being at PEACE having no WARS.
God created the human race to put an END to evil. Please read the studies under the heading **Q-0. WHY Are We HERE? - Is God at WAR?**
So then, I believe that DURING the days of his FLESH, Jesus was 100% a MAN whom his God ANOINTED at the baptism of Jesus.
The Greek words that are translated as God SENT His Son almost always means God COMMISSIONED His human Son, Jesus.
And the other Greek word means SENDING as in, Jesus was being LED by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit drove or SENT the human Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted.
The word commission means to give power and authority to a person to empower them to accomplish that task that they are called upon to do.
And that is one of the meanings of the Greek word translated as Christ.
The word Christ means ANOINTED and Messiah of Savior.
And Jesus was ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and power from on high at his baptism in the River Jordan by John the Baptist.
And that was WHEN his God sent the Son of MAN, Jesus, into the world to accomplish the task God called him to do.
According to the prophecy in Isaiah 42:6, Jesus was CALLED to walk in righteousness and not sin.
Let us continue reading John 1:15-18 is the LIGHT of the word of PROPHECY being made FLESH without any divine nature during the days of his FLESH.
For you see, John 1:14 does NOT say, the word was made flesh AND yet remained fully Almighty God having TWO natures at the SAME time, one divine, and one human.
And after we read John 1:15-18 we will come back to John 1:14b to discuss that last part of verse 14.
John 1:15-18.
“John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. (In other words, Jesus was GENERATED to come into existence as God’s ETERNAL Son after the cross to be ABOVE John the Baptist and above all of his fellows or fellow brethren, BECAUSE it was PROPHESIED for him to be the FIRSTBORN of every CREATURE to be made in the IMAGE of the invisible God)
John 1:16. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. (Or of the FULNESS that it pleased God to DWELL in His human Son, Jesus, have we all received.
In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus was GIVEN all power and authority to baptize whosoever BELIEVES out of the FULLNESS of God’s Holy Spirit that it pleased the Father to dwell in His now GLORIFIED human Son.
And we also receive grace because of grace, in that, we received righteousness because of one man’s righteousness)
John 1:17. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:18. No man has SEEN God at any time; (This one phrase should prove to all who are truly seeking the TRUTH that Jesus is NOT Almighty God Himself) the only begotten Son, (Is speaking of the only begotten Son from the DEAD to be GIVEN the DIVINE NATURE of immortality to never die again) which is in the bosom of the Father, he has DECLARED him.”
Now, the Greek word translated as the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son is a COMPOUND Greek word.
And that means that it is TWO Greek words put together. Let me show you what I mean.
Here is how E-Sword defines the compound Greek word “monogenes”.
Notice the TWO Greek words that G3439 comes FROM.

mon-og-en-ace
From G3441 and G1096; only born, that is, sole: - only (begotten, child).
Total KJV occurrences: 9.
The first Greek word “monos” means one, or single and right now Jesus is the ONLY begotten Son of God.
But the Bible ALSO teaches us that Jesus is the firstborn of MANY brethren.
So, at the coming of Jesus, we who believe will ALSO be made partakers of the DIVINE NATURE for we shall see Jesus as he is and not as he was during the days of his FLESH.
Also, the second Greek word is “ginomai”, Strong’s number G1096, which is the SAME Greek word TRANSLATED as “preferred” in John 1:15 where Jesus is “GINOMAI” before John the Baptist.
And here is how E-Sword defines the Greek word “GINOMAI”

A prolonged and middle form of a primary verb; to cause to be (“gen” -erate), that is, (reflexively) to become (come into being), used with great latitude (literally, figuratively, intensively, etc.): - arise be assembled, be (come, -fall, -have self), be brought (to pass), (be) come (to pass), continue, be divided, be done, draw, be ended, fall, be finished, follow, be found, be fulfilled, + God forbid, grow, happen, have, be kept, be made, be married, be ordained to be, partake, pass, be performed, be published, require, seem, be showed, X soon as it was, sound, be taken, be turned, use, wax, will, would, be wrought.
Total KJV occurrences: 672.
Now, no matter what meaning a Christian chooses to use, the Son of God had a BEGINNING to come into being.
And therefore, the doctrine of the Trinity THEORY simply does NOT agree with what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY.
And the simple FACT that no mortal man has SEEN God at ANY time, proves to me, that the Oneness Pentecostal doctrine does NOT agree with what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY.
And the fact that Acts 13:33-34, and Hebrews 1:5 clearly teach us in SIMPLICITY that Jesus was BEGOTTEN on the DAY that God raised him from the DEAD, proves that was no so-called God Son did who supposedly pre-existed in the eternity past.
And, to me, that is WHY we, as Biblical Unitarian Christians believe and teach that Jesus is the FULFILLMENT of PROPHECY.
And therefore, Jesus is the WORKMANSHIP of Almighty God the Creator, who prophesied a God to be MANIFESTED in the flesh.
But first, God’s human Son must suffer and die on the cross as a SINLESS man who was not worthy of death.
And then AFTER God’s HUMAN Son became obedient to do all of the WILL of his God and Father, even to die of the cross, then Yahweh HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN, Jesus, to be made a Lord, a King, and a God under and subject to his God and Creator.
We just read in the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6,7 that his NAME shall be called the mighty God WHEN the government is laid on his shoulders.
Therefore, that NAME or TITLE of Mighty El was PROPHESIED to be GIVEN to the HUMAN Son of God.
So, to me, God chose to use a MAN whom He made a little LOWER than the angels to JUDGE Lucifer and the fallen angels JUSTLY or FAIRLY for their rebellion to make war against God.
For you see, it would not be fair for Almighty God Himself who is far greater than the angels to become His own sacrifice for sins because God cannot not be TEMPTED with evil.
And it would not be fair for God to choose an angel to be His Messiah because not ALL of the angels sinned.
So, God CHOSE to use an INFERIOR species of beings called the humans to be made a little LOWER than the angels to live without sin, violence, and WAR.
And even if ONE human lived his life without sin, then God can FAIRLY judge Satan and the fallen angels by the MAN that He ORDAINED and raised from the DEAD, according to Acts 17:22-31.
And that is the true sound Biblical meaning of John 1:1-18 as to why Biblical Unitarian Christians believe and teach what they believe.
For you see, what Biblical Unitarian Christians teach concerning WHO Jesus is in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of God AGREES with every verse of Scripture in the Bible.
Now, let us go back to John 1:14 to learn WHEN the disciples of Jesus BEHELD the GLORY of Jesus as being the ONLY begotten Son of God.
John 1:14.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his GLORY, the glory as of the only BEGOTTEN of the Father,) FULL of grace and truth.”
Jesus was not BORN already glorified. According to John 7:39 and Luke 24:26, Jesus was not glorified by his God and Father UNTIL God raised him from the DEAD.
And that is WHEN Jesus BECAME the ONLY begotten ETERNAL Son of Almighty God the Father.
That was when the PROPHECY was FULFILLED that is quoted in Hebrews 1:5.
Hebrews 1:5.
“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, (The answer is NONE of the angels because God CHOSE to use a MAN made a little LOWER than the angel to be made His Lord and Christ.
So, God said to His HUMAN Son at his resurrection) You are my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten you? And again, (Or in another PROPHECY, God prophesied) I WILL be to him a Father, and he SHALL be to me a Son? ”
So, to us, as Biblical Unitarian Christians, it makes no sense for God to PROPHESY about begetting a Son if so be that His Son was already begotten in the eternity past.
So then, we believe that the Word in John 1:1 should have never been capitalized to imply that the “logos” is a separate person who was with God in the eternity past.
We believe that the word in John 1:1 is the SPOKEN word of PROPHECY that was TOWARD the God and that word of prophecy was a God who would JOIN his God and Father on his Father’s throne.
And we believe that the word made flesh in John 1:14 means FLESH just as it says.
So, to ADD the INTERPRETATION that the word was made flesh, but remained fully God that has no Scriptures to support it, is to ADD church TRADITION to the word of God itself.
Again, for every comment or interpretation that I give, I have Scripture to support my opinions.
But the Orthodox church doctrine of the two natures of Jesus at the same time during the days of his FLESH have no Scriptures to support that theory,
And when you do your own research, then you can see that the DOCTRINE of the two natures of Jesus at the same time during the days of his flesh, was basically forced to be accepted by Christians in the fifth century or be excommunicated from the ROman Catholic Church.
Here is a quote from another website explaining what the council at Chalcedon in 451 AD was all about.
“The Council of Chalcedon was called in 451 CE by the Roman Emperor Marcian (r. 450-457) to settle debates regarding the nature (hypostases, "reality") of Christ that had begun at two earlier meetings in Ephesus (431 CE and 439 CE).
The question was whether Christ was human or divine, a man who became God (through the resurrection and ascension) or God who became a man (through the incarnation, "taking on flesh"), and how his humanity and divinity affected his essence and being, if at all.”
In other words, ALL Christians at that time in history agreed that Jesus was DEITY or had divine NATURE.
But the question or DEBATE was HOW was Jesus Deity? When was Jesus Deity?
And did the Son of man, Jesus, become deity after the cross and resurrection?
Or did a pre-existing God become a man who remained fully God during the days of his flesh having BOTH natures at the SAME time, one Divine and one human, DURING the days of his FLESH?

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
