All New Creatures are Made Because of Jesus!
***What Does John 1:3 TRULY mean?
Here is John 1:3 from the KJV. “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
The English word “things” is NOT in the original Greek text.
And the phrase “the ALL” is speaking about ALL those who are made as NEW creatures created by God creating us in Jesus Christ.
And WITHOUT Jesus obeying his God and Father’s WILL to suffer and die on the cross for our sins, then NOT any of the ALL who were made and that are still being made would exist as God’s new creation.
Also, the Greek word “dia” translated as made “by” him, also means made “in” him and made “because of” him.

Does John 1:3 Mean that Jesus is the CREATOR?
Let us begin this verse study by reading the CONTEXT of John 1:3 from a LITERAL translation so that you can see that Almighty God the Father is the Creator.
And that the Almighty God the Father created “the ALL” of the whosoevers who believe as NEW Creatures created in Jesus Christ.
LITERAL translation of John 1:1-3,14 FROM the Textus Receptus.
“In beginning was the SAYING, and the SAYING was TOWARD the God, and God was the SAYING.
John 1:2. The SAME was in beginning TOWARD the God.
John 1:3. ALL through SAME became, and apart from SAME became not yet ONE which has become…
…John 1:14. And the SAYING became FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the GLORY as of the only GENERATED BESIDE the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
The Greek word “gennaō” that is translated as BEGOTTEN in Acts 13:33-38 is Strong’s number G1080.
And it is the SAME Greek word that is translated as BORN-AGAIN in John 3:3,7. This word means to REGENERATE.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Greek word “gennaō”.

From a variation of G1085; to procreate (properly of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively to regenerate: - bear, beget, be born, bring forth, conceive, be delivered of, gender, make, spring.
Total KJV occurrences: 97.
And the Greek word “gennaō” is a form or variation of the Greek word “genos”, which is from the root word “ginomai”, Strong’s number G1096.
And Strong’s number G1096 is a part of the compound Greek word “monogenēs” used in John 1:14, which is translated in the KJV as the “only begotten” of the Father.
But as you have just seen, the LITERAL translation from the same Textus Receptus is translated as the only GENERATED BESIDE the Father in John 1:14.
And the Greek word translated “of” the Father also means “by”, as in, by the side of the Father as it is used in Matthew 13:1,4, Jesus sat “by” the sea SIDE, and the seed sown “by” the waySIDE.
It also means “UNTO”, as in, the REGENERATED from the DEAD Son of MAN, Jesus, ascended “unto” the Father as it is translated Matthew 15:29, Jesus came nigh UNTO the Sea of Galilee and SAT DOWN there.
In other words, Jesus is the only one generated to be SEATED at the right hand SIDE of the Father.
And it can also mean only one generated to be “WITH” the Father as it is translated in John 8:38, as in, to be present WITH the Father, like we see in John 14:25.
In other words, Jesus was BORN-AGAIN from the DEAD and ascended into heaven to be present WITH the Father to be SEATED at His right-hand SIDE.
That is the sound Biblical meaning of John 1:14(b), “...we saw the GLORY of the Only begotten Son BESIDE the Father.”
The CONTEXT in John 1:18 clearly teaches us that this LITERAL translation, BESIDE the Father is the CORRECT translation.

“No MAN has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.”
The Son of MAN saw God when he first ascended into heaven in the morning of the DAY that God REGENERATED Jesus from the DEAD.
Then the GLORIFIED Son of MAN descended back down out of heaven that same day in the evening to show himself ALIVE in his new glorified IMMORAL body for forty days.
And then, the HIGHLY EXALTED glorified Son of MAN ascended back into heaven where he was before, forty days before he showed himself alive for forty days, to be SEAT BESIDE the Father on His throne.
Now, let us back up and read John 1:1-3 again from the LITERAL translation so that you can see the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of John 1:3 when it is correctly translated and correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.
We will take one verse at a time so that I can explain each verse.
LITERAL translation of John 1:1-3,14 FROM the Textus Receptus.
“John 1:1. In beginning was the SAYING, and the SAYING was TOWARD the God, and God was the SAYING.”
First of all, the beginning in John 1:1 and the beginning of Genesis 1:1 is NOT the very beginning in the eternity past when God created the entire universe.
But rather, it is another beginning called the foundation of the world and the beginning of the world, which also means the beginning of the AGE.
The Greek word “katebole” that is translated as “foundation” in the KJV means DEPOSITION, to throw down.
And God CUT DOWN the evil and darkness in the previous age of the earth with a world-wide flood, which Bible scholars call the Luciferian flood.
Then God RESTORED the earth to be habitable once again FOR man and the Son of MAN.
And according to Psalm 8:1-6, the very REASON that God created MAN and the Son of MAN is BECAUSE of His ENEMIES.
So again, the beginning in John 1:1 is NOT the beginning in the eternity past as some Christians claim.
Secondly, the Greek word “logos” should have never been capitalized as the “Word”.
For you see, the word is an it, the word of PROPHECY that came out from the MOUTH of Yahweh, according to Isaiah 55:9-11.
Here is a short 5 minute video by a well-known Trinitarian Bible teacher who teaches the TRUTH about the word in John 1:1 being the expression of God’s thoughts in the form of words.
Thirdly, the Greek word “pros”, Strongs number G4314, that is translated as “WITH” God in the KJV, literally means TOWARD the SIDE of the God.

A strengthened form of G4253; a preposition of direction; forward to, that is, toward (with the genitive case the side of, that is, pertaining to; with the dative case by the side of, that is, near to; usually with the accusative case the place, time, occasion, or respect, which is the destination of the relation, that is, whither or for which it is predicated): - about, according to, against, among, at, because of, before, between, ([where-]) by, for, X at thy house, in, for intent, nigh unto, of, which pertain to, that, to (the end that), + together, to ([you]) -ward, unto, with (-in). In compounds it denotes essentially the same applications, namely, motion towards, accession to, or nearness at.
Total KJV occurrences: 695
The word accession means to obtain a position of rank and power, which was fulfilled after the cross and resurrection when God HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN, Jesus.
And fourthly, the last phrase in John 1:1, the Word was God is a biased Trinitarian translation.
The correct translation should be, “and a God was the SAYING.”
For you see, that is EXACTLY what was PROPHESIED and FULFILLED.
Jesus was MADE a Lord, a King, and a God under and subject to his God to JOIN Yahweh the Father on His throne.
The Son of MAN, Jesus will rule as God, FOR God, and in the NAME of God for 1000 years in the age to come UNTIL the Father has put all His enemies under the feet of His now glorified Son.
And then, at the END of the 1000-year reign of Jesus, the glorified Son of God will step down from ruling over the earth and commit the Kingdom back into the Father’s hand, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28. I will cover John 1:1(c) more in-depth in the Verse Study called John 1:1.
But for now, let us move on to John 1:2.
Here is John 1:2 from the LITERAL translation.
“John 1:2. The SAME was in beginning TOWARD the God.”
The phrase “The SAME was in the beginning” simply means that the “logos”, the word, the SAYING, or the spoken word of PROPHECY that came forth out from the MOUTH of Yahweh was TOWARD the God.
In other words, the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6,7 says a CHILD would be BORN.
And then, a Son would be given, speaking of the male child that was BORN of a VIRGIN.
And then, WHEN the government is laid on his shoulders, his NAME shall be called a Mighty El or a Mighty God.
But BEFORE the government shall be laid on his shoulders during the world to come, the HIGHLY EXALTED Son of MAN, Jesus, ascended up into heaven to be BESIDE the Father, just like the “correct” translation of John 1:14 says.
The disciples saw the GLORY of Jesus but it was AFTER the cross and resurrection when they saw his glory.
For you see, John 7:38,39 CLEARLY teaches us that Jesus was NOT YET GLORIFIED.
John 7:38,39.
“He that believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:39. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; BECAUSE that Jesus was NOT YET GLORIFIED.)”
Again, the Son of MAN, Jesus, BECAME the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God AFTER the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 13:33-38, Hebrews 1:5, and Hebrews 5:5.
But some still argue that John 1:3 proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus created everything that exists.
And therefore, Jesus MUST be Yahweh Himself in the flesh.
And they wrongly “INTERPRET” John 1:3 in that way, because it is INCORRECTLY translated in the KJV.
Here is John 1:3 from the LITERAL translation.
John 1:3. “ALL through SAME became, and apart from SAME became not yet ONE which has become.”
First of all, there is no Greek word in John 1:3 where the English word “THINGS” can be translated from as it is wrongly translated in the KJV.
And thus, the word “things” was ADDED by the translators in the KJV. So it should be in ITALICS, but it is NOT.
And that, to me, is deceptive, because it misleads some Christians to wrongly believe that Jesus is the Creator who created the entire universe.
But, in TRUTH, the word “ALL” refers to the BELIEVERS who are created by Yahweh the Father to become His NEW CREATURES created in Jesus Christ by their faith in the WORD of God, the written and spoken word of God.
And WITHOUT the word, the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ, was not ANY made that was made.
The word was made FLESH first! And the word TOWARD the God was the PROPHECY of Yahweh making His HUMAN Son a Lord, a King, and a God to be SEATED by His SIDE on His throne to rule over the earth for 1000 years.
