OUR GOD IS ONE GOD IN ONE PERSON!
There is NO GOD BESIDE ME!
Every Christian believes in God as the CREATOR of everything that exists, otherwise, they would not be Christians. And almost all Christians know that the Old Testament clearly teaches us that there is but ONE God. And most Christians know that Jesus is called God in Hebrews 1:8. So “simple” logic based ONLY upon this LIMITED information would tell us that since there is but ONE God and Jesus is called God, then Jesus must, therefore, BE the ONE, God.
But is this what the WHOLE word of God teaches us?
Before we get into the word of God to answer the question of WHO is the ONE God in ONE person let me explain a little about the two MAIN teachings in the church.
Church teaching number one
First, there are Trinitarian Christians who clearly see that Jesus is NOT the Father but yet both the Father and his Son Jesus are called God in the New Testament. So in order to try and reconcile there being only ONE God, these particular Christians theorized that God must, without fail, be a PLURAL being who is three persons in ONE God. This is called the doctrine of the Trinity. And just so you know it took over THREE centuries to form the doctrine of the Trinity.
Church teaching number two
Then there are Oneness Christians who say no to the Trinity God theory and they came up with their own theory that Jesus is a manifestation of the Father. And, therefore, to the Oneness Pentecostal Christians Jesus MUST BE the Father, as in, ONE, and the self-same divine eternal God in ONE PERSON. This church doctrine is called Oneness also called Modalism.
Now both of these two MAIN church denominational doctrines ALSO teach what is called the doctrine of the DEITY of Jesus which basically states that Jesus is fully God and fully a human being at the same time having TWO NATURES, one nature is divine, and the other nature is human during the days of his flesh. In other words, both mainstream church denominations teach that Jesus is fully divine and fully human in NATURE or “substance”. And just so you know, this TWO nature doctrine was not fully formed until the FOURTH century.
Again, these are the two MAIN teachings of the church but there have ALSO been OTHER theories or other church doctrines throughout church history as to the NATURE of Jesus. So to be OPEN and honest to ourselves and to God we must NOT simply dismiss all other church doctrines to have the mindset that we MUST believe either the doctrine of the Trinity or the doctrine of oneness as if we have NO OTHER options to believe. Always keep in mind that EVERYTHING we believe is a THEORY. And what I mean by this is that a theory must be PROVEN before it can become FACT.
In the world of science, there have been many “theories” that have been proven as “facts” but then later on some NEW evidence was found that proved that the scientists got it WRONG on their CONCLUSION that they drew from the “PARTIAL” evidence that they had earlier. This is important to know because Christians have done the SAME thing. Both the Oneness Christians and the Trinitarian Christians are NOT using ALL the evidence from the Bible. But rather, these two mainstream church doctrines “cherry-pick” certain specific verses of Scripture that they sincerely believe support their doctrine but they ignore, avoid, and even try to explain away all the verses of Scripture that contradict what they have CHOSEN to believe.
So again, both of these two mainstream church teachings leave the IMPRESSION that the truth MUST BE one or the other of those two mainstream church doctrines, as in, it is impossible for there to be any other option for Christians to believe. Thus, many if not most Christians have settled on either the doctrine of the Trinity or the doctrine of Oneness for many centuries. And eventually, the doctrine of the Trinity became the CHOICE by the majority of Christians because most Christians clearly see from the word of God that Jesus is most definitely NOT the Father. So while the doctrine of the Trinity is confusing to most Christians it is the ONLY option that they know about except for the doctrine of Oneness, Mormonism, and the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
However, in these last days or the last hundred to two hundred years or so, many Christians are moving away from the doctrine of the Trinity to rethink the doctrine of One God is ONE PERSON. What I mean by “rethinking” the doctrines of the mainstream church denominations is that many Christians are going back to the Old Testament teaching that God is ONE God in ONE PERSON and not a “plural” Trinity Godhead being of three persons in one God. And these Christians are called Unitarians.
Now, please understand that Unitarian Christians are DIVIDED and do not agree as to WHO Jesus himself is but they all seem to agree that the Father ALONE is, indeed, the ONE true and ONLY Almighty God Yahweh in ONE person. But growing up and also for most of my Christian life, I myself had never heard of Unitarian Christians. I only knew about the doctrine of the Trinity which I was taught from a small child. I did know about the Oneness Pentecostal Christian, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and the Mormons but I was told they are false teachings. Apart from these four groups of Christians, I did not know of any other group of Christians.
And when I first learned about Biblical Unitarian Christians, I cried out to God saying, “Thank you, heavenly Father, I have finally found Christians who believe what You have been teaching me through your Holy Spirit!”
So here is what the Holy Spirit has taught me. It all began as questions that I myself personally had and I am sure many other Christians have had as well. And as you read this study in God's word please understand that I am teaching stage TWO of Jesus, which is the days of his FLESH. In other words, there are FIVE stages of Jesus which I now call the five ages of Jesus. Please read the study “THE FIVE AGES OF JESUS?” But for now, I will briefly explain the five ages or stages of Jesus. Stage one is before the word became FLESH. Stage two is when Jesus walked on the earth from his Virgin birth to the cross which are the days of his FLESH. And stage three is AFTER his death and resurrection. Stage four is who Jesus is NOW and in the world to come. And stage five is who Jesus is AFTER the 1000 year reign of Jesus.
Here are the three main questions that I asked God because of the contradictions that I was seeing between the doctrine of the Trinity and the Bible ITSELF.
#1. Did Jesus do the works men saw him do because Jesus was Almighty God Yahweh Himself as the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of Oneness or Modalism teaches?
#2. Did Jesus do the works men saw him do because Jesus was “Deity” as being the SON OF God and thus, as Deity, Jesus had an advantage over all other humans being God's only begotten DIVINE SON?
#3. Did Jesus do the works men saw him do because he was the Son of MAN, who was ANOINTED OF God, having NO advantage over any other human beings who believe in God's Son having the SAME anointing of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them who dwelt in Jesus?
All three of these questions began as THEORIES in the form of questions that I had which I asked God. And over time, little by little, God opened my eyes of understanding to things I had not seen before. In other words, I had an OPEN mind and it did not matter to me which question God would answer as being His truth. And eventually, God gave me so much overwhelming evidence from the Scriptures that I concluded that question #3 was the ONLY SOUND Biblical answer that does not contradict any other part of God's word.
Now, this does not mean that what I have concluded as to what I myself have come to believe does not contradict the man-made THEORIES of the doctrine of Oneness or Modalism.
It also does not mean that what I have come to believe does not contradict the man-made THEORY of the doctrine of the Trinity.
And it does not mean that what I am now seeing from the Scripture does not contradict the man-made THEORY of the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus.
Remember that all three of the above man-made theories were formulated over CENTURIES by men to TRY and reconcile what SEEMED to be a contradiction in God's word. And what I mean by “SEEMED” to be a contradiction is that in the OLD Testament there was but ONE God and in the New Testament there are definitely TWO God's, the Father and his Son Jesus. And what I mean by two God is that the Father is a SEPARATE distinctly DIFFERENT person from Jesus. So there are TWO separate PERSONS that are NOT one and the self-same person or being and BOTH the Father and His Son are called God. So HOW can there be TWO God’s when there is only ONE God?
Here is what happened. Christians jumped to the WRONG assumption from the very start in trying to solve what SEEMED like a CONTRADICTION to them. They wrongly ASSUMED that the word “God” ALWAYS refers to ONLY the ONE TRUE and ONLY Almighty God the CREATOR. Yes, there were some Christians during the time of this great debate in the second century through the fifth century who maintained their belief in the ONE true God in ONE person as being the Father ALONE. And to them, Jesus was the SON OF God whom the Father MADE to be Lord. And many of them were martyred for their defending their faith that the One God in ONE person has a literal Son who was made both Lord and Christ.
In fact, there were many other Christians who did NOT accept the doctrine of the Trinity being forced upon them. BUT over time they ADOPTED many of the Trinitarian Christian ideas and terminology. And these Christians are now called Oneness Christians which DIFFER from Unitarians Christians. And Unitarian Christians DIFFER from BIBLICAL Unitarian Christians. Here is how these four groups of Christians DIFFER.
Trinitarian Christians
Trinitarians Christians believe in ONE God. But Trinitarian Christians believe that the One God always existed as THREE persons in the ONE God. The three persons are separate from each other but they are NOT three separate God. And it was the eternally always existing God the SON who manifested himself to become flesh.
Oneness Christians
Oneness Christians believe that there is just ONE God in ONE person. Oneness Pentecostal Christians believe Yahweh the Father MANIFESTED Himself as the Son at the Virgin birth. And thus, the Son of God did NOT pre-exist in eternity past except as the PLAN of God in the MIND of God. BUT Oneness Christians try to FORCE Jesus to BE the ONE God in ONE PERSON. And consequently, they must believe that Jesus IS the Father who “fathered” or who begat himself.
Unitarians Christians
Unitarian Christians believe in ONE God in ONE person who CREATED another God in eternity PAST who is ALSO ONE God in UNITY with Almighty God who created him. And together, they both created everything that exists.
Biblical Unitarian Christians
Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that the ONE TRUE God is ONE God in ONE PERSON who ALONE is the FATHER. Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that the SON OF God came into existence as the HUMAN Son of God at the Virgin birth. Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that God ANOINTED the human Son of MAN, Jesus, at his baptism by John the Baptist and that is WHEN God SENT His Son into the world. Biblical Unitarian Christians believe that the word “God” is a TITLE. And thus, Jesus is CALLED God by TITLE but Jesus is NOT the one and ONLY TRUE God who ALONE is the Father.
And Biblical Unitarianism is what I came to believe LONG before I ever even heard of this group of Christians. No MAN taught me Biblical Unitarianism. It was the Holy Spirit who revealed this TRUTH unto me over many years. I had to FIGHT through the FEAR of what IF I am wrong for many years. I actually THOUGHT for many years that I was the ONLY Christian in the entire world who believed that Jesus was NOT Almighty God Himself. And I received this truth directly from the Bible ITSELF through the leading and teaching of the Holy Spirit the same way that the Holy Spirit revealed to me that the pre-tribulation rapture teaching is in error. God showed me ONE verse at a time. I saw things in the Scriptures that did NOT AGREE with what I was being taught by my church denomination.
I pondered the QUESTION “How could Jesus BE Almighty God Himself when the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that Jesus has ANOTHER God OVER and ABOVE him?” That is when God showed me that the word “God” is a TITLE and that He alone is the God OF Gods whom He Himself APPOINTED to become Gods to rule over different parts of His creations. With this in mind let us now dig into the Scriptures in section two of this study in God’s word on the ONE God is ONE PERSON.
SECTION TWO
OUR GOD IS ONE GOD IN ONE PERSON!
The Father is THE God OF his SON Jesus whom the Father calls God in Hebrews 1:8,9.
Hebrews 1:8,9.
“But unto the Son, He (Or unto the Son Yahweh, your Father) says, YOUR throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.
9. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; THEREFORE, (Or for this very reason of you loving righteousness and hating sin) God (Speaking of Yahweh your Father) EVEN YOUR God, has ANOINTED you with the oil of gladness above your FELLOWS.”
Now again, what some Christians have failed to consider for centuries is that Jesus is CALLED God BY HIS God. Both Oneness Christians and Trinitarian Christians have failed to see that Jesus is called God by HIS God AFTER Jesus loved righteousness and hated iniquity which had to be during the days of the FLESH of Jesus because there is NO sin in heaven. Plus, the CONTEXT of Hebrews 1:8,9 CLEARLY teaches us that Jesus OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than the angels BY INHERITANCE. And that one sound Biblical FACT ALONE proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus was NOT always God.
Let us read the CONTEXT of Hebrews 1:8,9 by reading Hebrews 1:1-9 where the writer of Hebrews is quoting Psalm 2:7. I want you to notice that this is a PROPHECY of a certain DAY in time where God would one day have a SON, and on that certain day in time, God would become a FATHER to His FIRST-BEGOTTEN Son. I will take it slow and explain as much as I can, as SIMPLE as I can, without writing an entire book on this one passage of Scripture. I will highlight the words and pronouns referring to Yahweh the Father in orange. I will highlight the words and pronouns referring to the Son of God in yellow. All other colors of highlighting are for emphasis. Also, we will cover the context of Hebrews 1: 8,9 taking just a couple of verses at a time.
Hebrews 1:1,2.
“God, who at sundry times (Or at a little at a time) and in divers manners (Or at a little at a time, here a little and there a little) spake in time past unto the fathers BY (Or instrumentally through) the prophets, (In others words, Almighty God Yahweh the Father did the SPEAKING to the fathers in the Old Testament TIMES by way of the PROPHETS. Almighty God the Father sent His words down to His prophets by way of His angels. God gave His prophets visions. God gave his prophets dreams. And God spoke to His prophets through the still small voice of His own self-same Holy Spirit. Notice that there was NO Son doing the speaking in the Old Testament times. It was the SAME creator God who created the worlds FOR the now highly exalted glorified Son of MAN to inherit who did the SPEAKING whether it was through one of His prophets or one of His angelic beings. In other words, Almighty God Yahweh the FATHER)
2. Has IN THESE LAST DAYS spoken unto us BY (Or instrumentally through or by way of) His Son,(Speaking of the Son of MAN, Jesus, who was also a PROPHET, according to Deuteronomy 18:15, Acts 3:22, and Mark 6:3-5) whom He has APPOINTED HEIR of ALL things, BY (Or for the SAKE OF) whom also He made the worlds;”
Also, know and understand that every word Jesus spoke was put in his mouth by his God and Father, according to the prophecy found in Deuteronomy 18:18. Please notice that I also highlighted the phrase “ALL things” because the English word “things” is NOT in the original Greek text. In other words, there is no “Greek” word in the original text from which the English word “things” can be translated. Please read the LITERAL translation so you can see it for yourself.
Here is the LITERAL translation of Hebrews 1:2.
“On last ones of the days these speaks or these talks to us IN His Son whom He places tenant of ALL through whom AND the eons He MAKES”
Read this verse as if there is a period after the phrase “tenant of ALL”. In the last days, speaking of this present world and in the world to come, God speaks to the world IN or by way of His Son whom He WILL place as the HEAD over ALL in the world yet to come. And FOR whom God MAKES the worlds, speaking of the world to come and the New Earth after the Millennial reign of Jesus. In other words, the “order” or the placement of the words in the English language must be kept in the exact order that the writer wrote them. But this is NOT the case in the Greek and the Hebrew language. The order of the words is understood by the CONTEXT. Also, the MEANINGS of the words are determined by the CONTEXT. And both the writer and the readers understood that there is ONE God is ONE PERSON. So when they read these words in Greek they would NOT have even thought of the words “THINGS”. They would have seen God as the CREATOR who made the worlds or the ages to come FOR His Son and NOT through His Son. Here is how E-Sword defines the Greek word “DIA” which is translated as “through” and “by” in many Bibles.

Now, every Christian agrees that IF Jesus would NOT have obeyed his Father to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the entire world then there would be NO ALL of whosoever believes to be saved. No Jesus, no salvation. So WITHOUT Jesus, not even ONE person could become one of the ALL of those whosoever that believes in Jesus because there is no salvation WITHOUT Jesus suffering and dying on the cross. No SLAIN LAMB, no salvation. No slain Lamb, no NEW CREATION created IN Jesus. God chose us to be saved IN Jesus before the foundation of the world. Let us continue with Hebrews 1:3-9 taking one or two verses at a time.
Hebrews 1:3.
“Who (Speaking of Jesus the SON OF Almighty God the Father) being the brightness of HIS glory, (Speaking of the glory of his God and Father, the ALMIGHTY Yahweh who GAVE or who CROWNED the Son of MAN, Jesus. Glory and honor after the cross to BECOME the brightness of the Father’s glory) AND (To BECOME) the express IMAGE OF HIS person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
The LITERAL translation of this verse in Hebrews 1:3 is “Who being in the radiance of the glory and the image of the understanding of him carrying on besides or carrying also the all to the declaration OF the ability of Him through himself making the cleansing of us from sin is seated at the right hand of or in the right of the great togetherness or of the Majesty on high or in heights.” In other words, Jesus quoted the Scriptures OF Yahweh his God, and Father as Yahweh’s POWER and NOT his OWN power. Jesus gave us the promise of the same glory that Yahweh the FATHER GAVE Jesus after the cross. Jesus gave us this glory as a PROMISE in the written word of Yahweh. Jesus DECLARED us to be ONE with him even as he is ONE with the Father by the ABILITY Of Yahweh to make us one. This verse is NOT saying that Jesus is upholding the entire universe by his OWN power. The ALL is speaking about those of us who BELIEVE being upheld by Jesus declaring Yahweh’s word of power. Check it out for yourself. Here is the link to one of the websites that I use to find the LITERAL meanings of verses in question where the many different “INTERPRETATIONS” of these verses have caused CONTRADICTIONS to the rest of God's word.
Also, the word “THINGS” is AGAIN not in the original text. The “ALL” can mean us, as in, the NEW creation of God that Jesus supports, upholds, carries, or bears the all of whosoever BELIEVES by the power of Yahweh's word WHEN Jesus BELIEVED God’s word of power that Yahweh would NOT leave his soul in hell. So through FAITH in the ABILITY of Yahweh the Son of MAN, Jesus, purged or BORE or CARRIED our sins by dying of the cross. And as the Son of man’s reward, Yahweh has highly exalted Jesus to be seated in heavenly places AT the right hand of Almighty God Yahweh in heaven. So to me, verse 3 has nothing to do with Jesus upholding up the entire universe by the power of his own word of power. It was, indeed, Jesus alone by himself of his own free will who BEARS our sin, as in, the ATONEMENT FOR our sins and not that we are once saved always saved by so-called “imputed” righteousness that can never be lost.
The “WHEN” in time here in verse 3 is when Jesus upheld the ALL or carried the ALL by the power of Yahweh's word as being WHEN Jesus purged our SINS. And after that time of purging the ALL of whosoever BELIEVES by dying on the cross, Jesus was GIVEN the divine nature of immortality to BECOME the express IMAGE OF the PERSON of Yahweh the Father. The word “PERSON” in Hebrews 1:3 is translated from the Greek word “hypostasis” which is WHERE the TWO nature doctrine of the Deity of Jesus came from to try and prove that Jesus IS Yahweh Himself in the flesh.
For you see, the “Roman Catholic Church” NEEDED the TWO natures of Jesus in order to refute the questions and contradictions against the doctrine of the Trinity. And the doctrine of Oneness ADOPTED the TWO nature doctrine from the Trinitarian Christians for the same reason of refuting the questions and contradictions of their doctrine of Jesus being Yahweh Himself in the flesh.
Even IF Jesus was the IMAGE OF Yahweh from his Virgin birth that does not prove that Jesus IS Yahweh Himself. For you see, WE are being conformed into the IMAGE OF Jesus but that does not MAKE us BE Jesus. We are REPRESENTATIVES OF Jesus and Yahweh the Father. We are AMBASSADORS of Almighty God and His Son Jesus. And as you will see if you do not already see is that Jesus is a God under his God and Father to rule for Yahweh while the Father rests on the seventh 1000 year long day of the LORD where his Lord and King reigns FOR him during the yet future 1000 years.
The Greek word translates as “BEING” the brightness of His glory and the express IMAGE OF His person carries the meaning of “COME”, as in, the Son of MAN, CAME to BE BEING in the IMAGE of Yahweh. We all agree that Jesus was GLORIFIED AFTER the CROSS. So why is it so hard for some Christians to accept that Jesus was MADE in the IMAGE OF his God and Father AFTER the cross? This is what the very CONTEXT itself teaches us. Let us continue with Hebrews 1:4-9 taking one at a time.
Hebrews 1:4.
“Being MADE so much BETTER than the angels, (It does NOT say Jesus WAS made, as in, the Son of MAN, Jesus was BORN better than the angels at his Virgin birth. But rather, it says Jesus BEING MADE better than the angels) as he has BY INHERITANCE OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than they.”
Now, if so be that Jesus was BORN better than the angels AT his Virgin birth, then WHEN or at what time was Jesus ever made LOWER than the angels? And since Jesus was, indeed, made or born LOWER than the angels at his Virgin birth, then it is CERTAIN that no writer of the New Testament ever INTENDED his words to be “INTERPRETED” as Jesus being EQUAL to God. For you see the angels are NOT equal to God, and being made LOWER than the angels certainly does NOT make Jesus EQUAL with God. As I have said many times in other studies I have written on the subject of exposing the ERROR of INTERPRETATIONS of the teachings of the doctrine of the Trinity AND the doctrine of Oneness that everything Jesus is, or has, was GIVEN TO him BY his God and Father THE ALMIGHTY. But what I want you to see right now is that the writer of Hebrews INTENTION of writing chapters 1 and 2 is to COMPARE the SON OF God to the ANGELS.
You will see this in the next verse. And to me, this proves beyond any shadow of a doubt the Jesus did NOT pre-exist as an ANGEL as some Unitarians Christians have wrongly concluded to believe and teach. Also, in verse 5 you will clearly see that Jesus BECAME the Son of God, as in, the now glorified highly exalted Son of God to be made in the IMAGE OF his God and Father on a CERTAIN DAY IN TIME.
Hebrews 1:5.
“For unto which of the ANGELS said HE (Yahweh the Father) at ANY TIME, You are my SON, THIS DAY have I BEGOTTEN you? (Speaking of a SPECIFIC point in time that Almighty God BECAME the FATHER of his SON Jesus. Thus showing beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus as the SON OF Almighty God did indeed have a BEGINNING. Please read the three-part study “WHEN DID JESUS BECOME GOD’S ETERNAL SON?-1” In that three-part study, you will read more Scripture proving that Jesus did not eternally pre-exist WITH God at God’s side as a separate person from all eternity past never having a beginning. You will also learn FROM the Scriptures that Jesus BECAME God’s ETERNAL Son AFTER the CROSS which is WHEN all the FULLNESS of the Godhead BEGAN to dwell in Jesus BODILY.
But for now, let us continue with this study in God's word of our God being ONE God in ONE PERSON who has a SON whom He Himself APPOINTED to become “A” God to rule and reign FOR Yahweh during the world to come for 1000 years. So then, God did NOT appoint ANY angels to be the God of the whole earth in the world yet to come. But rather, God chose to choose a MAN for that job of being a Mighty God to rule FOR Yahweh over the earth for 1000 years while Satan is BOUND for a specific PURPOSE. Do you KNOW WHY? If not please read the studies under the heading >>>WHY ARE WE HERE-IS GOD AT WAR?<<< But for now, I will briefly say that Jesus and those of us who believe will JUDGE Lucifer and the fallen angels BY our WORKS of obedience to do Yahweh the Father’s WILL which He taught us through the Son of MAN, Jesus, under the New Covenant written in the New Testament) And again, I WILL BE to him a Father, and he SHALL BE to me a Son?”
This again clearly teaches us that Jesus, as the SON OF Almighty God, did indeed, have a BEGINNING and also that Almighty God was NOT ALWAYS the FATHER OF his SON, Jesus. And this Scriptural FACT again proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus did NOT ALWAYS EXIST as the SON OF God WITH the Father at the Father’s side as a separate person from all eternity past. And WITHOUT an ETERNAL God the Son in eternity past the doctrine of the Trinity falls apart. For you see, the doctrine of the Trinity states that Jesus is co-eternal with the Father WITHOUT ever having a BEGINNING. Trinitarian Christians try to explain away the sound Biblical Scriptural proof by RE-DEFINING words in the Bible. Trinitarians CLAIM that Jesus was ETERNALLY begotten in eternity past WITHOUT being “BEGOTTEN”. In other words, Trinitarian biased concordances say that the word “begotten” means being born and coming into existence ONLY when it applies to HUMANS. BUT when the word “begotten” applies to Jesus then the word “begotten” does NOT mean being born or coming into existence. And because THEY said so then that is what the word begotten means so do not dare to QUESTION what Trinitarians teach lest you are dead in your sin. In other words, Trinitarian Christians dogmatically demand that if you do not believe in their doctrine of the Trinity then you are not TRULY saved, and thus, to THEM you are still dead in your sins. And that kind of lording over type control over Christians is called the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which Jesus HATES! Where in the Bible does it say that we MUST believe that God is a Trinity God in order to be SAVED? NOWHERE! So quit SUBVERTING Christians by using intimidation that they are not truly saved simply because they QUESTION the man-made doctrine of the Trinity.
But rather, the TRUTH of the matter, according to the Bible ITSELF, is that the SON OF God was brought into existence where he never existed before EXCEPT in the MIND and PLAN of Almighty God to one day at the APPOINTED time to bring forth a SON into the world by Yahweh’s spoken WORD or SAYING of God. John 1:1 does NOT say that JESUS was with God but rather that the “logos” or the word was with God. Please read the study “JOHN 1:1 THE WORD WAS GOD!” for a deeper understanding of the true sound Biblical meaning of John 1:1-14. But for now, let us continue examining the context of Hebrews 1:8,9 of the father being God and CALLING His Son Jesus by the TITLE of God to see if the INTERPRETATION of the word God being a TITLE agrees with the Scriptures. We have already covered Hebrews 1:1-5 and we have found this interpretation of the word “God” being a TITLE does, indeed, AGREE with Scripture.
Here is Hebrew 1:6.
“And again, when He brings in the FIRST-BEGOTTEN into the world, (The literal translation of this phrase is “WHEN He brings in the FIRST begotten into the world” means the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD one to BECOME the IMAGE OF God. In other words, this verse is NOT talking about the Virgin birth of Jesus. But rather, Hebrews 1:6 is talking about God bringing the RESURRECTED and NOW highly Exalted Son of MAN, Jesus BACK into the world, speaking of the SECOND coming of Jesus to rule and reign in the world to come. And at THAT time during the world to come,) HE (Almighty God the Father) says, And let all the angels of God WORSHIP him.”
Again, showing the HIGH EXALTATION of Jesus OVER the angels after Jesus was first made to be LOWER and inferior to the angels and THEN CROWNED with GLORY and HONOR AFTER the CROSS, according to Hebrew chapter 2. But WHY? Why would God make Jesus lower and inferior to the angels at first and then EXALT him higher than the angels? Please read the studies under the heading >>>WHY ARE WE HEAR-IS GOD AT WAR?<<< to find the SOUND BIBLICAL answer of why God even created mankind and especially why God created humans LOWER than his previous creation the angels if you do not already know why.
And even if you do not believe that God is at WAR and that God has an ENEMY, surely you can see and understand that the ANGELS are NOT EQUAL with Almighty God Yahweh. And since the Bible itself clearly teaches us that Jesus was MADE a little LOWER than the ANGELS, then that means that Jesus was NOT EQUAL with Almighty God during the days of his FLESH. I mean, what part of being MADE LOWER than the angels do you not understand? How could Jesus be EQUAL with God when Jesus was MADE a little LOWER than the ANGELS which we ALL agree that angels are NOT EQUAL with God?
The ONLY way for Jesus to be EQUAL with Yahweh the Father is for Jesus to have been GIVEN ALL power and authority TO him BY his God and Father. And this did, indeed, happen AFTER the CROSS. And that is WHEN Thomas CALLED Jesus by the TITLES of Lord and God. We all agree that Yahweh the Father MADE Jesus be both Lord and Christ, according to Acts 2:36. We all agree that Jesus was MADE to become the King of kings and the Lord of lords, according to Psalm 2:6, Psalm 89:27, and Hebrews 1:9. So why is it so hard for some Oneness and Trinitarian Christians to see that Jesus was MADE to be A God under and subject TO his God and Father TO the GLORY OF Almighty God the Father, according to Philippians 2:8-11 and Hebrew 1:9? Let us continue to learn that the word God is a TITLE and that we do NOT have to FORCE Jesus into being the ONLY true God who ALONE is the FATHER, according to John 17:1-3.
Hebrews 1:7-9.
“And of the ANGELS He says, Who makes His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire. (Showing that the angels will serve Jesus and the FELLOW HEIRS with Jesus)
8. But unto the Son HE says, (Speaking of the NOW highly exalted Son of MAN, Jesus who OBTAINED a new NAME more excellent than the ANGELS by way of INHERITANCE Yahweh says) Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. (Again, this is speaking of Almighty God the Father HIGHLY EXALTING the Son of MAN, Jesus, to become a God by “TITLE” to rule and reign in his Father's kingdom during the Millennium. Please read 1 Corinthians 15:19-28, which teaches us that Jesus will REIGN in his Father's kingdom for 1000 years and then at the end of this 1000 year reign Jesus will commit the kingdom BACK into his Father's hand)
9. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; THEREFORE God, EVEN YOUR God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your FELLOWS.”
What FELLOWS did the so-called God the Son have up in heaven in eternity past that he needed to be ANOINTED by Yahweh the Father to be ABOVE those FELLOWS which is speaking of the BRETHREN of Jesus, us the church? The CONTEXT is teaching us that Jesus OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than the ANGELS by way of INHERITING that name. And this verse in Hebrews 1:9 is giving us the very REASON for WHY Jesus was highly exalted and given a NEW NAME. So that AT that NEW NAME every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is “Lord” TO the GLORY OF Almighty God the Father in the world yet to come WHEN He BRINGS His FIRST-BEGOTTEN Son among MANY BRETHREN or many FELLOW brethren into the world yet to come. And since we are JOINT heirs with Jesus and will ALSO judge the angels WITH Jesus then it is logical to conclude that we will also INHERIT a new name above the angels at the coming of Jesus to rule as kings under Jesus who was made King of kings by the Eternal King of kings, the invisible God and Father OF Jesus.
Hebrews 1:9 literal means FOR this very REASON of becoming obedient unto death on the cross to do all your God and Father's will I, even YOUR God, has HIGHLY EXALTED you and have GIVEN you a NAME ABOVE every other name. Please read Philippians 2:8-11 which teaches us that it was only AFTER Jesus became OBEDIENT unto death on the cross that his God and Father the Almighty highly exalted the Son of MAN, Jesus, to be seated at His own right hand to rule and reign as a God in his Father's kingdom DURING the world to come for 1000 years. Also, for a deeper understanding of the FORM of God that Jesus came to be existing in AFTER the cross, please read the study called “PHILIPPIANS 2:6-8 WHAT DOES IT TRULY MEAN? ”
But for now, let us do a quick review of what we have learned so far concerning our God who is one God in ONE PERSON who ALONE is the Father who has a Son whom He Himself MADE to become a MIGHTY RULER with the TITLE “God”.
So then, WHEN was the FIRST begotten whom we know is speaking of Jesus FIRST begotten? Keep in mind that we must be born-AGAIN to enter Heaven and nowhere in the Bible are we taught about THREE births.
#1. Was Jesus FIRST begotten in eternity past as Trinitarian Christians and SOME Unitarian Christians such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses wrongly believe and teach? It is their THEORY or their interpretation of certain verses to mean that Jesus was begotten so long ago in eternity past that one could say that Jesus has ALWAYS eternally existed with God at his side?
This would mean that Jesus as God's eternal Son in eternity past would be begotten a second time at his virgin birth. In other words, if #1 is the correct answer then the Scripture must support by a prophecy that God the Son would come down from heaven and be born a second time of a woman. And thus, Jesus would have been born-AGAIN at his Virgin birth, according to the Trinitarian theory and what the Jehovah’s Witnesses teach.
#2. Was Jesus FIRST begotten at his VIRGIN birth be born of a woman to be BORN as the SON OF God being fully the divine God and fully a human being at the same time having TWO natures one divine, and one human?
Now some Christians combine #1 and #2 together but where are the Scriptures to support their theory of the TWO nature doctrine of Deity DURING the days of his FLESH? Where does it say in the Bible that Jesus had two natures in the days of his flesh? Does it even make sense to you that the Bible would specify days of his FLESH if so be the Bible teaches a DUAL nature, Jesus?
#3. Was Jesus FIRST begotten at his Virgin birth to become the HUMAN Son of MAN who would be DECLARED the Son of God after the RESURRECTION which was when Jesus was begotten AGAIN for the dead?
To me, this is the correct question to pursue while reading the Scriptures. For you see, Jesus ascended into heaven on the same morning God raised him from the dead to be GIVEN the divine nature of IMMORTALITY or eternal life BY his God and Father. That was WHEN Jesus BECAME God’s, ETERNAL Son. That was WHEN Jesus was MADE PERFECT to BECOME the father of eternity or the AUTHOR of eternal life. That was when Jesus was GIVEN all authority and power. That was when Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of EVERY CREATURE to be MADE in the IMAGE of God. That was when it pleased God for ALL the FULLNESS of DEITY or DIVINE NATURE to dwell in Jesus BODILY. That was when Jesus received his new glorified immortal body of divine nature. That was when God GAVE Jesus a NEW NAME that is higher than every other NAME. And the only NAME higher than every other name is Yahweh. So when the highly exalted Jesus was GIVEN the highest NAME after the cross, then that was when there became TWO Yahwehs. Not two CREATOR Yahwehs but two SEPARATE persons NAMED Yahweh Yahweh the Father and Yah Yahweh the Son. Let me explain what I mean by LORD and MY Lord who are TWO Lords by TITLE and NOT two creator Lords.
All Christians know and understand that the Old Testament is filled with PROPHECIES about the two comings of Jesus. But both Trinitarian Christians and Oneness Christians “interpret” some of the Old Testament verses of Scripture as HISTORY. For example, Trinitarian Christians INTERPRET Genesis 1:26 as HISTORY. They incorrectly interpret the pronouns “us” and “our” as Yahweh being a PLURAL God in three separate persons as being HISTORY in the eternity past while at the same time they correctly understand so many other verses as being PROPHECY.
So think of Genesis 1:26 as being Yahweh speaking TO the ANGELS while at the SAME time the Eternal Yahweh is speaking to His SECOND Adam, the Son of MAN, made LOWER than the ANGELS, in the FUTURE. And then the Son of MAN, Jesus reads the Scriptures in the future speaking of the days of his flesh while the Holy Spirit kept saying to Jesus, this is YOU my Son, Let us make man, as in, FALLEN man, in OUR IMAGE. But first, I will make you my Son in MY IMAGE after you obey all my will even to suffer and die a cruel death on the cross so your fellow brethren can also be made in your image and be made partakers of my divine nature of immortality.
Do you see how WISE our Heavenly Father is? Yahweh HID His word of PROPHECY right in front of the angels, both the fallen angels and the good angels. Yahweh is in the process of removing one and PROMOTING ANOTHER.
Psalm 75:6,7.
“For PROMOTION comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. (In other words, PROMOTION comes from the sides of the NORTH where God’s throne is located. Satan may be the “rebel” god of this world but promotion does not come from Satan. The devil makes promises to those who serve him but they will have their reward in this present world only but for a moment in time compared to the eternity of paradise that God offers to all of mankind)
7. But God is the judge: He puts down one, and sets up another.”
And then being CROWNED with glory and honor to obtain a more excellent name than the angels after being lower than the angles sounds like PROMOTION to me. And being made HIGHER than the kings of the earth to be Yahweh’s King of kings and Lord of lords sounds like a PROMOTION to me.
But in CONTRAST, Yahweh manifesting Himself to become a man to be under and subject to Himself does NOT sound like a PROMOTION to me. Neither does a God the Son incarnating himself in the flesh to be under and subject to his God and Father sound like a PROMOTION to me. Always remember that after the 1000 year reign of Jesu has ended Jesus will commit the ruling of the kingdom back into the hands of his God and Father so that Almighty God will be ALL in ALL which means that Jesus will CEASE being Lord.
According to the Bible itself, Jesus CAME OUT FROM deity or divine nature to be made fully HUMAN in NATURE, and then AFTER the cross, the HUMAN Son of MAN was CROWNED with GLORY and HONOR and made a partaker of the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY.
PLUS, as a special HONOR of being the FIRSTBORN Son of God among MANY BRETHREN, Yahweh highly exalted Jesus to be the HEAD OVER the church of the FIRSTBORN. But Yahweh is still the HEAD of Jesus Christ. So YES, Jesus IS DEITY but he BECAME Deity AFTER the CROSS. And WE also will be made partakers of the DIVINE NATURE as well at the coming of Jesus. Please read the study “ARE THERE TWO GODS?” In that study, I will cover the verses showing that the angels are called Elohim which means Gods. And Yahweh is the God of the ELOHIM which is translated as God of Gods with a lower case “g” on the second Elohim.
Below is a complete list of all the studies that I have which show WHY I no longer believe in the doctrine of the Trinity and why I can NEVER believe in the doctrine of Oneness. I assure you that every verse that SEEMS to be saying that Jesus pre-existed in eternity past has another meaning that does NOT contradict any other verses of Scripture in the entire Bible.

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
