WITHOUT Yahweh There is no Elohim!
***What Does Isaiah 44:6 TRULY mean?
Here is Isaiah 44:6 from the KJV. “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”
Does Isaiah 44:6 PROVE that Jesus is Almighty God Himself?
In other words, does this verse of Scripture prove that the Yahweh manifested Himself to become FLESH in order for ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF to die on the cross for our sins as Oneness Pentecostal Christians “interpret” the Scriptures.
The Hebrew word that is “TRANSLATED” in the phrase “there is no God BESIDE me” can also be translated as “there is no Elohim WITHOUT me.”
But, in the minds of Oneness Pentecostal Christians, they reason that since this verse says “there is no OTHER God BESIDE or EXCEPT for Yahweh the Father”, then Jesus MUST be Yahweh the Father, because the Son is CALLED God in Hebrews 1:8, Isaiah 9:6,7, and by a few other verses such as John 20:28, which by the way is AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Well, if that Oneness Pentecostal line of reasoning is SOUND Biblical reasoning, then Satan must be Yahweh the Father as well.
For you see, Satan is clearly and undeniably CALLED by the TITLE the god of this present world in 2 Corinthians 4:3,4.
Now, as a whole, the Book of Isaiah actually PROVES that Jesus BECAME a God AFTER the cross and resurrection for the PURPOSE to rule FOR Yahweh as the ARM on the Lord who will reign over the whole earth in the NAME of Yahweh, his God and Father.
Please know and understand that the CONTEXT of Isaiah 44:6 is speaking about Yahweh CALLING another God to come into existence to JUDGE the LYING god, Satan.
In other words, Yahweh the Creator will use Jesus as His faithful and truthful WITNESSES to JUDGE Satan and the fallen ELOHIM guilty as charged.
Let me show you what I mean.

NOTICE that Isaiah 44:5 says, I am the LORD’S?
Now, most Christians know and understand that every verse of Scripture must be interpreted in the LIGHT of its CONTEXT in order to understand its CORRECT meaning.
And the verse of Scripture right before Isaiah 44:6 says, “One shall say, I am Yahweh’s”.
Or more correctly understood, “THIS ONE shall say, I am Yahweh’s”!
Then, the conclusion of that CONTEXT says, “THUS says Yahweh.
So then, WHAT is Yahweh saying concerning THIS ONE who shall say “I am Yahweh’s”?
For you see, this passage of Scripture is a PROPHECY of Jesus being SET as Yahweh’s King to put things in order FOR Yahweh.
Thus, Yahweh says, King of Israel. In other words, this one who shall say, “I am Yahweh’s” he shall be the King of Israel and I, Yahweh of HOST, am his REDEEMER. I am the first and I am the last. There is no Elohim WITHOUT me.
And that is the TRUE SOUND Biblical meaning of Isaiah 44:6.
But do not simply take my word for it. Rather, allow the Bible ITSELF prove it for you by reading the whole CONTEXT to compare Scripture with Scripture.
So then, let us go ahead and read the CONTEXT so that you can see the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of Isaiah 44:6 when it is correctly TRANSLATED and understood in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of almighty God.
But let us cover one verse at a time. In other words, I will only have very brief comments within a verse of Scripture, and place my explanation after each verse of Scripture.
Isaiah 42:1-9 along with Isaiah 44:1-8.
“Isaiah 42:1. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
The first thing that I want to point out is that the Hebrew word translated as “Gentiles” carries the meaning of massing, as in, the massing of a TROOP.
It also means heathen or to act like a heathen. So then, Yahweh’s chosen one will bring forth JUDGMENT to Satan and the fallen angels who waged a WAR against the other side of heaven.
In other words, this passage of Scripture is a PROPHECY of Jesus becoming Yahweh’s King who shall rule as God over the whole earth during the world to come.
And Yahweh is saying BEHOLD My servant in whom I am well pleased.
I will make him to be my FIRSTBORN and I will exalt him higher than the kings of the earth, according to Psalm 89:27.
But to whom is God telling to BEHOLD? Obviously, Yahweh is telling us to look and see, but what is not readily obvious is that God is speaking to the ANGELS to behold His servant Jesus, which means the salvation of Yahweh.
Notice what Satan and the fallen angels do throughout the Bible, and contrast the works of the Devil with Yahweh’s NEW servant and the works that Jesus will NOT do.
In other words, the next two verses are contrasting what Satan, the one who OPPRESSES people, to Jesus, who HEALS all who are oppressed of the Devil, according to Acts 10:38, for God was WITH him.
Isaiah 42:2. He shall NOT cry, nor lift up, (Or Jesus shall NOT self exalt himself like Lucifer did) nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
The word “street” carries the meaning of “outside”. So, it can me outdoors, but it call also mean outside of Yahweh’s WILL/
In other words, Yahweh is saying THIS ONE whom I have chosen to be My Servant will NOT be like Lucifer.
But rather, Jesus will do all that I command him to do, and he will NOT do anything outside of My WILL.
Isaiah 42:3. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
And, in contrasting the LYING god, Satan, with Yahweh, Jesus said in John 17:1-3 that the Father is the only TRUTHFUL God.

Isaiah 42:4. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Isaiah 42:5. Thus says God the LORD, He that created the heavens, and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; He that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
Isaiah 42:6. I the LORD have CALLED you in righteousness, and (I Yahweh, your God) will hold your hand, and (I Yahweh, your God) will keep you, and (I Yahweh, your God will) give you for a COVENANT of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
So then, CLEARLY Jesus, the good and faithful SERVANT of God is NOT one and the self-same person or being as Yahweh, the Creator and maker of Jesus.
According to 1 Timothy 2:5, there is ONE God, and the MAN, Christ Jesus is the one mediator BETWEEN God and mankind.
And, according to 1 John 3:8, the very PURPOSE for WHY the Son of Almighty God was MANIFESTED was to destroy the WORKS of the Devil.
Isaiah 42:7. To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Isaiah 42:8. I am the LORD: that is My name: (Or more correctly translated, he, my servant whom I have chosen is My NAME or My CHARACTER) and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images.
In other words, Yahweh prophesied that He will not give His glory to anyone other than His ELECT whom He has CHOSEN to be the heirs of the world to come.
Isaiah 42:9. Behold, the former things are coming to pass, and NEW things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them…
Now that you understand the CONTEXT of WHO the SERVANT of Yahweh is, let us continue reading some more CONTEXT of Isaiah 44:6, which should be translated as WITHOUT Me there is no Elohim.
For you see, according to the WHOLE word of Almighty God, the Son of MAN, Jesus was MADE to become a King, a Lord, and a God under and subject to his God and Father who created him BECAUSE of His ENEMIES, according to Psalm 8:1-6, and Acts 2:36.
... Isaiah 44:1. Yet now hear, O Jacob My servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
The name Jacob means to supplant. And the English word “supplant” means to supersede or the REPLACE.
And the name Israel means he shall rule as God.
In Genesis God changed the name Jacob to the name Israel.
So then, the hidden prophetic meaning of the changing of the name Jacob to Israel is a shadow pointing to the human Son of God CHANGING to biome the Divine immortal Son of God after the cross and resurrection.
Isaiah 44:2. Thus says the LORD (Or thus Yahweh says to His Messiah Jesus) that made you, and formed you from the womb, which will help you; Fear not, O Jacob, My servant; and you, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
The name Jesurun means upright, a symbolic name for Israel, which again means he shall rule as God.
In other words, all of the saints that Yahweh chooses shall rule as Gods over the whole earth WITH Jesus during the world to come.
To say this another way, according to John 17:13-22, the SAME glory that God GAVE to Jesus, because of his uprightness, the now GLORIFIED Jesus has promised to give to us who overcome the world even as Jesus overcame the world to be seated on the Father’s throne for 1000 years during the world to come.
Isaiah 44:3. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour My Spirit upon your seed, and My blessing upon your offspring:
The Bible prophesied Isaiah that God will give CHILDREN to His Messiah, speaking of born-again spiritual children for the LIFE of Jesus.
Let us go ahead and read that prophecy, because it is also part of the CONTEXT of Isaiah 44:6, which should read WITHOUT me there is no Elohim.
Isaiah 43:
“Since you were PRECIOUS in My SIGHT, you have been honorable, and I have loved you: THEREFORE, (Or for this very reason of you loving righteousness and hating evil) will I give men for you, and people for your LIFE.
Isaiah 43:5. Fear not: for I am WITH you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you (Speaking of your BODY, the church, the called out ones) from the west;”
Notice that Yahweh is WITH His servant Jesus and NOT that Jesus is Yahweh HIMSELF in the flesh.
The Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us in John 5:19-30 and John 14:10, that Almighty God the Father DWELT in His human Son Jesus and that the Son could do NOTHING of himself.
With that being said, let us continue reading the CONTEXT of Isaiah 44:6, which should be translated as WITHOUT Me there is no Elohim.
Isaiah 44:4. And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
The pronoun “they” is speaking of all of the ELECT or chosen by Yahweh to become Kings over the earth during the world to come.
But to me, Yahweh is focused on THIS ONE who says, I am Yahweh’s, or I BELONG to Yahweh.
The Bible teaches us in 1 Corinthians 11:3 that Yahweh is the HEAD of Jesus and Jesus is the Head over his body, the church.
In other words, according to Luke 2:26, Jesus BELONGS to Yahweh and NOT that Jesus is Yahweh Himself as Oneness Pentecostal Christians dogmatically demand.
Isaiah 44:5. One shall say, (Or more correctly translated like the LITERAL translation, which says THIS ONE shall say) I am the LORD’S; (Notice that it does NOT say that this one shall say that he is Yahweh Himself in the flesh.
But rather, it says that this one shall say he belongs to Yahweh.
Again, this is contrasting God’s NEW servant Jesus to God’s rebellious disobedient servant Lucifer) and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
Let us go ahead and read the LITERAL translation so that you can see that Isaiah 44:5 is speaking of the SAME person and NOT three separate persons as the King James Version MISLEADS Christians to wrongly believe.
Isaiah 44:5 from the LITERAL translation.
“THIS ONE he shall say to Yahweh, I, (Or I am Yahweh’s) and THIS ONE he shall shall CALL in NAME of Jacob (Meaning that Almighty God will PROPHECY a NEW NAME that He will give to His servant Jacob) and THIS ONE he shall WRITE hand of him to Yahweh and in NAME of Israel he shall ENTITLE.”
In other words, Yahweh will WRITE in PROPHECY in Isaiah 62:2-5, that He will give His Messiah a NEW NAME and that NEW NAME will give him the LEGAL RIGHT to RULE as God over the whole earth for 1000 years during the world to come.
The phrase “He shall write hand of him to Yahweh” means that WRITTEN prophecy says God’s Messiah shall JOIN Yahweh to be seated at his right hand.
In other words, the God of Jesus has GRANTED the Son of MAN to SIT at His right hand on His throne to rule as God over the whole earth for 1000 years during the world to come.
Now that you know and understand what the CONTEXT in actually teaching us in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of almighty God, then you can see that the KJV “translation” of the next three verses are INCORRECT and MISLEADING translations.
Isaiah 44:6. Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Now let is read Isaiah 44:6 from the New International Version so that you can see that the Hebrew word “TRANSLATED” as “BESIDES” in the KJV and many other modern translations, ALSO means “APART from” me and WITHOUT me there is no god with a lowercase “g” to signify gods under and subject to Yahweh who SET them as gods.

“This is what the LORD says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; APART FROM me there is no God.”
And here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew word “”, that is incorrectly translated as “besides” in the KJV and many other translations of the Bible that simply COPY what the KJV says.

Constructive plural from H1077 and H5703; not till, that is, (as preposition or adverb) except, without, besides: - beside, not (in), save, without.
Total KJV occurrences: 17.
The NEW thing that God is doing is having His NEW creation to abide in Him and He abides or dwells in them.
This way, Almighty God the Father can be ALL and in ALL of His NEW creation of NEW creatures made in His OWN image of RIGHTEOUSNESS and no longer bear the image of His ENEMY Satan, the Devil.
Yahweh is in the process of DETHRONING Satan and all of the fallen Elohim and REPLACING them with Jesus and the JOINT-HEIRS with Jesus to rule over the earth in the AGE to come.
So then, Jesus was CALLED to walk n righteous for the purpose of being HIGHLY EXALTED to become an Elohim under and subject to Yahweh who MADE him both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36.
With that in mind, let us read the last two verses so you can see yet another incorrect and MISLEADING translation made by the translators of the KJV.
Isaiah 44:7. And WHO, as I, shall CALL, and shall DECLARE it, and SET it in order FOR Me, since I APPOINTED the ancient people? And the things that are coming, and shall come, let them SHOW unto them.
In other words, let the NEW gods who I CALL, DECLARE, and SET to rule FOR Me show or be My WITNESSES to the ANCIENT gods, speaking of the fallen angels whom I APPOINTED, but they did not keep their first estate of be righteous before Me.
Isaiah 44:8. Fear you not, neither be afraid: have not I told you from that time, and have declared it? You are even My WITNESSES. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
First of all, why does Almighty God need WITNESSES?

But for now, I want to point out two words highlighted in green that the KJV has incorrectly translated.
The question, “Is there a God beside me?” should be translated as “Is there a God WITHOUT Me?”
For you see, it is the SAME Hebrew word that is used in verse 6, which I have already shown should have been translated as “WITHOUT me there is no god.”
Now, while many other transitions COPIED the KIV in verse 6, only a few copied the KJV translation of the Hebrew word “tsûr ” to be translated as God instead of as a Rock.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines this Hebrew word that in my opinion, should be translated as REFUGE.

From H6696; properly a cliff (or sharp rock, as compressed); generally a rock or boulder; figuratively a refuge; also an edge (as precipitous): - edge, X (mighty) God (one), rock, X sharp, stone, X strength, X strong. See also H1049.
Total KJV occurrences: 76.
In other words, Isaiah 44:8 should read and be understood as follows.
A more correct translation of Isaiah 44:8.
“Fear you not, neither be afraid: have not I told you from that time, and have declared it? You are even My WITNESSES. Is there an Eloah or a God of a deity WITHOUT Me? yea, there is no REFUGE; I know not any.”
So, my conclusion is that Isaiah 44:6 actually PROVES that Jesus BECAME a God or a DEITY, an Eloah, who Yahweh can TRUST will never be corrupted like Lucifer was corrupted by his PRIDE, selfishness, and greed.
For you see, when we COMPARE Scripture with Scripture, we can clearly see that Yahweh is WITH the last in Isaiah 41:4, which is ALSO part of the CONTEXT of Isaiah 44:6.
Isaiah 41:4.
“WHO has wrought and done it, CALLING the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and WITH the last; I am he.”
Please know and understand that the verb “AM” is NOT in the original Hebrew text.
And thus, there should be a COMMA between the pronoun “I” and the pronoun “he” to show TWO separate beings.
For you see, it is not possible for Yahweh to be WITH the last if Yahweh is one and the self-same BEING as the last,
Therefore, Isaiah 41:4 should be read as follows.
A more correct translation of Isaiah 41:4.
“WHO has wrought and done it, CALLING the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and WITH the last; I AND he. (Or I Yahweh the first and WITH the last I, he)”

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
