The Son Was RECEIVED into Heaven!
***What Does John 3:16 TRULY mean?
Here is John 3:16 from the KJV. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Does John 3:16 PROVE God GAVE His Eternal Divine Son to die on the cross so that whosoever believes that Almighty God Himself DIED of the cross might be saved?
NO! Absolutely NOT! That is man-made church tradition being READ INTO the Scriptures.
The TRUTH is that God RECEIVED His HUMAN Son up into heaven to be GLORIFIED to be SEATED at His Right hand side on His Throne to rule FOR Yahweh during the world to come.
And God is doing this to JUDGE His ENEMIES Satan and the fallen gods.

The HUMAN Son of God ENTERED INTO Glory!
Church TRADITION teaches that God sent His Eternal Divine always existing Son DOWN from heaven to BECOME flesh.
But, the Bible ITSELF teaches us that God sent His WORD down from heaven and the WORD was made FLESH.
Let us begin this Verse Study in John 3:16 by reading it left in its CONTEXT.
John 3:10-18.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, (Nicodemus) Are you a master of Israel, and know not these things?
John 3:11. Verily, verily, (Surely and truly) I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness.
John 3:12. If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
John 3:13. And (Or YET) no MAN has ASCENDED UP to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of MAN which is in heaven. (Obviously, Jesus is talking to Nicodemus about himself ascending up into heaven right after God raises him from the dead to be GLORIFIED.
And then, the GLORIFIED Son of MAN descended down from heaven that same day in the evening to show himself alive for forty days.
Then the GLORIFIED Son of MAN was RECEIVED UP into heaven to be SEATED at the right hand of his God and Father)
John 3:14. And (Or therefore) as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of MAN be lifted up:
John 3:15. That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (In other words, whosever BELIEVE that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was lifted up on the cross should not perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE)
John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that He GAVE His only BEGOTTEN Son, (Or more correctly translated, For God so loved the world, that He RECEIVED His only BEGOTTEN Son THAT whosoever believes in him should NOT perish, but have everlasting life. (For you see, the CONTEXT is speaking of the Son of MAN being RECEIVED up into glory in heaven, coming back down from heaven, And then ascending back up to heaven where he was before forty days ago)
John 3:17. FOR (Or BECAUSE) God SENT not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (Or more correctly understood, because God COMMISSIONED not His Son to go out into the world to condemn the world.
But rather, God COMMISSIONED His Son so that the world might be saved THROUGH faith in him.
Speaking of the GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, the only BEGOTTEN Son from the dead, whom God EXALTED to be SEAT at God’s right hand)
John 3:18. He that believes on him is NOT condemned: but he that believes NOT is condemned already, because he has NOT believed in the NAME of the only BEGOTTEN Son of God.”
The Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN a NEW NAME after the cross and resurrection by his God and Father.
And, according to Philippians 2:6-11, God did that, in ORDER that, every knew shall bow at the NAME and every tongue will CONFESS that Jesus is Lord to the GLORY of Almighty God the Father.
And, according to Acts 2:36, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was MADE bot Lord and Christ AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Also, know and understand that the very REASON for WHY God created MAN and the Son of MAN was to STILL His ENEMIES, according to Psalm 8:1-6.
Let us look at some more verses of Scripture where the Son of MAN, is RECEIVED UP into heaven to be SEATED at the right hand of his God and Father.
Mark 16:19.
“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was RECEIVED UP into heaven, and SAT on the right hand of God.”
The Greek word translated as SAT literally means to be SEATED, to SET, and to APPOINT.
Luke 9:51.
“And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be RECEIVED UP, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,”
The disciples did not understand why Jesus set his face like flint to go to Jerusalem where the Jew wanted to KILL him.
But after the cross, Jesus EXPOUNDED the Scriptures, showing them that is was NEEDED for the Son of MAN to suffer the cross in order to ENTER INTO his GLORY.
Luke 24:25-27.
“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Luke 24:26. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to ENTER INTO his glory?
Luke 24:27. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.”
Now, if Jesus pre-existed as God the Son in the eternity past as Trinitarian Christians CLAIM, then surely he would have told he disciples and that teaching would be all over throughout the New Testament.
But yet, the Apostles of Jesus say NOTHING about a God the Son coming down from heaven to become the human Son of God to die on the cross.
The Bible says nothing about we MUST believe that God HIMSELF became flesh in order to be SAVED.
Rather, all of the prophecies and the fulfillments speak of a HUMAN Son of God being EXALTED and RECEIVED UP into heaven to be SEATED on God’s THRONE at his God and Father’s right hand.
Luke 24:51.
“And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and CARRIED UP into heaven.”
Acts 1:9-11.
“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was TAKEN UP; and a cloud RECEIVED him out of their sight.
Acts 1:10. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he WENT UP, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:11. Which also said, You men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This SAME Jesus, which is TAKEN UP from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.”
1 Timothy 3:16.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, JUSTIFIED in the Spirit, SEEN of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY.”

But for now, please know and understand the the manuscript evidence shows that the Greek word for WHO was ALTERED to become the Greek word “theos”.
Thus, this verse should read as follows.
1 Timothy 3:16.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: He WHO was manifest in the flesh, (In other words, a MAN who was GODLY was CLEARLY SHOWN to us in the flesh having no sin) JUSTIFIED in the Spirit, SEEN of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY.”
The point that I want you to focus on right now is that the Son of MAN was RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY.
So, simply ask yourself the questions.
#1. “WHY would an already Almighty God the Son need to be RECEIVED up INTO GLORY?”
#2. “WHY would and already Almighty God need to be JUSTIFIED in the Spirit?”
#3. “WHY would Almighty God Himself need to be SEEN of angels?”
The TRUTH of the matter is that the HUMAN Son of God BECAME Deity AFTER the cross and Resurrection, according to Acts 2:36 and many other passages of Scripture.

But for now, let us look at some more verses that show Jesus ascending into heaven to be SEATED at the right hand of his God and Father.
In other words, the human Son of God was APPOINTED to be EXALTED and SET on his God and Father’s throne for 1000 years UNTIL his God and Father puts all his enemies under his feet, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.
Hebrews 1:3,4.
“Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express IMAGE of His PERSON, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by himself (Or more correctly translated and understood, and upholding the ALL who BELIEVE by the word of Yahweh’s power AFTER he himself) purged our sins, SAT down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Again, the Greek word translated as “sat” down means to be SEATED down, SET, and APPOINTED by God to be POSITIONED on His right hand side on His THRONE)
Hebrews 1:4. Being MADE (Or having been MADE) so much better than the angels, as he (Speaking of the HUMAN Son of God) has by INHERITANCE OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than they.”
Hebrew 8:1.
“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is SET on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;”
Hebrews 4:14.
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is PASSED INTO the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”
When I see the word “PASSED” I think of PASSING a TEST or GRADE and moving up to the next grade.
Jesus passed the TEST of being tempted in all points like we are tempted. But yet, Almighty God Himself CANNOT be tempted, according to James 1:13.
Can you not see that it was BECAUSE the anointed Son of MAN, Jesus, OVERCOMING the enemies as the REASON for WHY he was GRANTED to be SEATED on his God’s THRONE, according to Revelation 3:12 and Revelation 3:21?
Hebrews 6:20.
“Whither the FORERUNNER is for us ENTERED, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.”
A FORERUNNER is the runner of a race who runs ahead of the other runners.
Jesus OVERCAME the world FOR us to RECONCILE us to God so that God can DWELL in us like God dwelt in His human Son, Jesus.
Jesus is our BROTHER, the captain of our salvation whom God MADE perfect through suffering, according to Romans 8:. Which we will read in a moment.
Hebrews 10:12.
“But this MAN, AFTER he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, SAT down (Or was SEATED by his God and Father) on the right hand of God;”
Please understand that Jesus did NOT take this HONOR of being HIGHLY EXALTED to be MADE a King, a Lord, a Priest, and a God unto himself.
Hebrews 5:4.
“And no man TAKES this honor unto himself, but he that is CALLED of God, as was Aaron.
Hebrews 5:5. So ALSO Christ glorified NOT himself to be MADE an high priest; but He that said unto him, you are My Son, TODAY have I BEGOTTEN you. (Speaking of Almighty God RESURRECTING His human Son and then GIVING him ENTRANCE INTO GLORY to be SEATED at the right hand of his God and Father)
Hebrews 5:6. As He said also in another place, you are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews 5:7. Who in the days of his FLESH, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to SAVE him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
Hebrews 5:8. Though he was a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
Hebrews 5:9. And BEING MADE perfect, he BECAME the author of eternal salvation unto ALL them that obey him;
Hebrews 5:10. Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.”
Hebrews 2:5-10.
“For unto the angels has He NOT put in subjection the world to COME, whereof we speak.
Hebrews 2:6. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is MAN, that You are mindful of him? Or the Son of MAN, that You visit him?
Hebrews 2:7. You MADE him a little LOWER than the angels; You CROWNED him with glory and honor, and did SET him over the WORKS of YOUR hands:
Hebrews 2:8. You have PUT all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He PUT all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not PUT under him. But NOW we see NOT YET all things put under him.
Hebrews 2:9. But WE see Jesus, (Or We, the very Apostles and eyewitness UNDERSTAND Jesus as the HUMAN Son of God,) who was MADE a little LOWER than the angels for the suffering of death, CROWNED with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:10. For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to MAKE the captain of their salvation PERFECT through sufferings. (In other words, BECAUSE it BEHOOVED Almighty God, AFTER which are the ALL who believe, YET for the sake of whom the ALL to bring to pass MANY sons into GLORY, He MADE their captain PERFECT through sufferings)
Hebrews 2:11. For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified (Or he that has been SANCTIFIED and they who are being purified) are all of ONE: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them BRETHREN,”
Hebrews 12:1,2.
“Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of WITNESSES, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Hebrews 12:2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the JOY that was SET before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is SET down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
1 Peter 3:22.
“Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers BEING MADE subject unto him.”
Please notice that Almighty God MADE and is still MAKING the fallen angels SUBJECT unto Jesus.
In other words, Almighty God is the ENFORCING who stands WITH His now glorified human Son to FORCE Satan and the fallen angels to SUBMIT themselves to the AUTHORITY that God GAVE to the Son of MAN, Jesus, that is invested in the NEW NAME he received after the cross and resurrection.

And for some my “hard-core: Trinitarian readers, even Ephesians 4:8-10 SEEMS to them to be saying that the Son of God pre-existed in the eternity past and he came DOWN from heaven to BECOME the Son of MAN, but still remain the Divine Son of God.
To me, the SOUND Biblical evidence is overwhelming teaching a CREATED HUMAN Son of God whom God EXALTED to BECOME a God under and subject to his God and father for the PURPOSE of REPLACING the fallen gods.
Always keep in mind the the SAME GLORY that Almighty God GAVE to the Son of MAN, Jesus, Jesus has promised to GIVE to us, according to John 17:22-26, the very CONTEXT of John 17:1-5.
We are JOINT-HEIRS WITH Jesus, according to Romans 8:17-19.
In other words, WE who are faithful unto the end will be made PARTAKERS of the Divine NATURE to become ONE with Almighty God EVEN AS Jesus is ONE with the Father.
Jesus was MADE to become a King under the Eternal King, according to Psalm 2:1-12. And many other passages of Scripture, such as Psalm 89:27.
And WE will be made kings under Jesus, according to Revelation 1:5,6, and Revelation 5:10.
Jesus was MADE a Lord under his LORD after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36 and many other passages of Scripture, such as Psalm 110:1-3.
And WE will be made Lord under our Lord Jesus the ANOINTED by God, according to Revelation 1:5,6, and Revelation 5:10.

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
