Unit 3 Assessment (Imperialism)
Work Day 1
Remember:
We are assessing your skills - can you think critically and creatively? Can you organize your writing clearly and coherently?
We are assessing your understanding of Imperialism and the varying perspectives involved.
Essays must be typed in MLA format.
Guidelines & Expectations:
Today is a quiet, independent work day - do not distract others (or yourself) by talking to your peers or listening to your music loudly.
Phones are OK - as long as they are not distractions. Don’t cheat, don’t use social media, don’t waste time on unnecessary technology.
If you are stuck or have questions, read through the instructions thoroughly first - there is a lot of information and instruction that has already been given to you.
Need input or editing? Be sure you have specific needs before asking for input. Do not just ask us “to see if it looks good”.
Need a chromebook? The only way you’ll get one is by showing proof of thinking first. We have limited chromebooks so the only way you’ll be able to get one is if you’re ready to work on final drafts.
By the end of work day 1, you should have quality and thoughtful draft(s) completed. You are able to continue work at home.
