ALL FIELD TRIP PERMISSION SLIPS NEED TO BE TURNED IN ASAP!

Dear Parents of NP3 Juniors,
We’re excited to announce we’ve planned an upcoming history field trip for the junior class. On Friday, November 8th we will be taking our classes to the California Museum (https://www.californiamuseum.org/) located in downtown Sacramento.
The purpose of this field trip is to encourage our students to interact with the history that surrounds them here in Sacramento; to think deeply about our rights as American citizens and how those have been interpreted over the eras; and to examine the function of museums in telling valuable stories of the past and present.
While U.S. History and English 11 teachers will be attending this excursion, the museum also requires 10 parent chaperones to accompany us as well. Please take a look at the details of our trip below and send the form back as soon as possible if you are able to join us.
What: History Field Trip
When: Friday, November 8th 8:15 a.m. - 11:00 am
Transportation: School Buses (Parent Chaperones may ride on the bus or drive themselves and meet us at the museum. Please arrive to the museum by 8:45)
