Class discussions centered around the topics above as we reflected on where we're going as a class. Conversations culminated with Mrs. Hembree reviewing all concepts above and connecting them all to show how it will lead to World War I (and explaining why it matters that we study the causes of war). Students then worked to figure out what the 4 MAIN causes of war were (Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, Nationalism).
Students should read pages 407 - 408 of the text to develop a basic understanding of these 4 causes.
*Students were also given the opportunity to enhance their one pagers (U3 Assessment, part 1) after our discussion. The final due date for the one pagers is Friday, December 1st.*
