Agenda:

• 1. Opener:

     1. review acrostic - what IS the Enlightenment (class definition)

     2. skim Ch. 7.1 (the French Revolution) and, as a class, make a list of what we know about the French Revolution.

     3. What caused the French Revolution and how does this connect to the Enlightenment?

  2. Documentary: The French Revolution

• • 1. Students will watch with the purpose of learning more about the 4 identified causes of the French Revolution. (see attached note template).
