Heeeeeeey Students!
Today, we will be shifting our focus from the East to the West (still focusing on the aftermath of The Great War). In small groups we will be tackling the societal response to the War by examining different areas of society and how things changed. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to learn enough about your assigned area to teach the class about it.
While you had no say in your groups, you will have a hand in choosing your topics. The topics are listed on the back board (Science, Literature, Philosophy, Art, Society, Technology). Groups will be given their topics on a first come, first serve basis – but in order to get approved you must provide a valid reason for why you are choosing the topic you are. So, discuss with your group and send up the best representative to argue your case to see Hembree and lobby for your top choice. You may also want to have a back up choice in case your first choice is already taken.
Happy Learning!
The instructions are attached.
If you were absent today, please read Ch.15.1 and take notes. Presentations will take place next class period.
