MAIN causes of The Great War

Students will work in self selected groups today to better understand the long term causes of WWI. Each group will be assigned a cause: Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, and Nationalism. Then they will be given access to chromebooks, textbooks, and a handout to help them understand their "cause". They will then need to work together to create a graphic organizer (modeled on the board for students) that includes:

  • A helpful definition

  • Causes

  • Effects

  • Powers Involved

  • Example

  • Analogy

  • Symbols

This will be due and presented next class period.
