Dates: 08/07 (A) & 08/08 (B)
Agenda:
Find your seat
Pass Back Acrostic and discuss grading philosophy
Take notes on a lecture! Title these notes, date them, put your name on them and find what works for you. Make the notes work for YOUR learning. Make sure you understand the purpose of the notes (to experiment with taking notes with Hembree and to understand the significance of the Enlightenment).
Make a creative prediction about what happens when people begin to recognize that there may be a better way to live together. Your prediction cannot be a paragraph, but must be something creative: a comic strip? a children's story? a song? an interview? a text chain? Your prediction should show me:
a summary of the Enlightenment
how these ideas lead to change
what sort of change?
how change happens?
reaction of people: those who WANT change; those who are unsure about change; those who do NOT want change.
Turn in Notes and Predictions at the end of the period.
