Focus: Learning Portfolio & Writing Prompt
Students have the period to work on their justifications and beginning the draft for their writing prompt.
Introduce Writing Prompt:
Describe the unresolved issue and analyze why it is still unresolved.
Analysis of prompt: be sure to prove that your issue exists in the introduction & provide several reasons why the issue is still unresolved
Students should use their free write from Monday (what is the issue and why is it unresolved) to help them structure an outline
Students are strongly encouraged to write an outline first
Students are given time to look over a model outline, essay, and works cited page (if you were absent and would like to see this, please see your teacher).
Students may not access chrome books until they have had a teacher check their completed outline
HOMEWORK: Complete draft by tomorrow and be sure ALL justifications are done by tomorrow as well!
