Overview
Waivers are program-backed funds that programs can offer to prospective or current students. Programs will need to set up waivers for each academic year and type. The naming convention is Academic Year Program Waiver Name (e.g. 17-18 MAcc Non-Resident).
View existing waivers
Navigate to the Scholarships tab and select the Waivers Available & Awarded view from the picklist. This will display waivers setup for your program as well as how much has been awarded per waiver.
Enter a new waiver
1. Navigate to the Scholarships tab and click New. Select Waiver in the record type picklist.
2. Enter in the required fields and click Save. If you would like to set up another one, click on Save & New.
3. To start awarding waivers, click on the New Scholarship Awarded within the waiver. Use the lookup to find the student and fill out the required information. The Summer, Fall and Spring amounts will sum after saving. You will also see the Total Amount Awarded field on the waiver sum the Total Awarded from the Scholarships Awarded related list.
4. Update the Award Status on Scholarships Awarded as they change.
