Duplicate contacts are an unfortunate reality of all CRMs. To manage duplicates, the Eccles Salesforce team has a bot that runs nightly to scan for duplicate contacts.
If you find duplicates that weren't caught by the bot, please submit a "Duplicate Records" case using the following steps:
Click "Submit a Salesforce Case" from the bottom nav bar
Select case type as "Duplicate Records" and program as "MBA"
Leave the case urgency and due date as defaults
Choose the most complete/accurate contact as the master and copy its URL into the "Master URL" field
Copy the URL for the duplicate(s) into the Duplicate URL field(s).
Submit! The Salesforce team will reach out if they have questions.
