Add Session to the Event
Event is the umbrella where the session falls and the session is the specific event that happened.
There are five types of events :
Info Sessions
Corporate Outreach Arranged Employer Info Session for School Year Fall 2017, Spring 2018 and Summer 2018
Accounting Events
All accounting events on campus including tabling, info sessions and speaker events.
Student Engagements
These are events like Networking, Floor dinners for Lassonde, Meet the TEKs, HireU, Capstone Projects
Employee Engagements
Corporate Outreach contacts an employer, alumni, or leader in the community to speak at conferences, Business Scholars Friday lecture series, Lassonde Studios events (hours with experts) panels, club speakers (if it is not a info session associated with a club).
Site Visits
Corporate Outreach sets up site tours for students to companies.
Suppose we want to add info session to the event , then :
Step 1: Click on Events ; Press Go
Step 2: Click on the Event that you want to add your session
Step 3: Click on the New Session
Step 3: Add the Session Name
Step 4: Fill in the additional information
Note : For the Start Date Time : Please enter the time the session was held.
Do not Forget to Add the Session to the corresponding Organization
Step 1 : Click on New Session <>Organizations
Step 2: Fill up the required information
Step 3 : Fill up the required information and Click Save
You can add Session Attendee One by One or in a bulk :
Adding Session Attendee One by One
If Goldman Sachs GIR/Finance Club is the session that we want to add the session attendees .Then we will follow the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the required session that you want to add the attendees
Step 2: Click on New Session Attendee to add a session attendee /attendees
Step 3: Enter the Session attendee name
Step 4: Update the status ;Click Save
Adding the Session Attendee in Bulk
Step 1: Click on + sign
Step 2: Click on Cases
Step 3: Click "New"
Step 4: Select the New Record Type
Step 5 : Fill out the required information
Step 6: Finding the Session Id in Salesforce
Step 7: Make an Excel Sheet to Upload
Step 8 : Click Attach File
Step 9: Click Browse; Upload Excel File
