Select Campaign—Search month NOV, DEC, and numerical date of the orientation. Select desired from the dropdown.
2. Click Change Major under CIS Link to update the student’s major.
3. Click Remove Hold under PeopleSoft Link and remove and holds on the student's record.
4. Assign Advisor. Search advisor name under Select Assigned Advisor. Select the desired advisor from the dropdown.
Next select students to assign to the chosen advisor by clicking the box next to the student’s name or assign multiple students to that advisor by using the “Select Multiple” drop-down option.
Finally, click Assign Advisor.
5. Now that an advisor has been assigned, click Mark Reviewed to indicate that the major has been reviewed, holds removed, and an advisor assigned, and the Orientation review is completed.
TIP: Current advisor caseloads are displayed in the bar graph. It can be refreshed to see new assignments.
Pardot Email Automation
An email will be automatically sent to students the day following orientation IF the student meets the criteria below:
Student has an assigned advisor
Student is marked as "Reviewed" (See step 5 above)
Note: A student will receive an email if at ANY time the above criteria is true. If the student has an advisor removed from their Salesforce record or has their status changed back to "Requires Review" they will still get an email. If you do not want them to receive an email please let a member of the Salesforce team know ASAP!
How to Change a Status
These steps are if you need to change a student's status back to "Requires Review"
Clicking under "Status" will open the individual campaign member page.
Double click on "Reviewed" to change their status to "Requires Review" and save
