SMP Application & Admission Discrepancies

The Data Team (Dean's Office) created a Tableau dashboard that relies on certain data within Application Graduate object. To ensure data cleanliness and integrity, the Eccles Salesforce Team created the SMP Application & Admission Discrepancies to surface reporting scenarios that seem illogical / inconsistent.

SMP staff members are advised to review the Salesforce dashboard regularly. If they have the ability to edit an application to correct an issue, they are advised to do so. If they do not have the proper access to make a change, they are advised to submit a Salesforce case with the requested update.

DASHBOARD KEY

1) Dashboard Tab: Use this tab to navigate to Salesforce dashboards.

2) Dashboard Selection: Displays the name of the Salesforce dashboard that you're viewing.

3) Application Graduate Program: Allows you to filter the data by a specific SMP program.

4) Component Title: The name of the table / chart in a given section.

5) Report Description: A short description of the table / chart.

View Report: Link to the report that provides the data for the table / chart.

6) "We can’t draw this chart because there is no data." i.e. The report did not yield any results; there is no data to display in a table / chart.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• A single record may fit more than one scenario and show up more than once.

• The following fields are not on the SMP page layouts in Salesforce, but they fuel the Data Team's Tableau dashboard:

  • Started

  • Submitted

  • Deferred

  • Denied

  • Admitted

  • Initial Enrolled
