Petition Processing

Overview

Certain members of the UAS staff use the Course Petitions app and following objects to process equivalency petitions for undergraduate graduation requirements:

• Course Petitions (Record Types: Domestic and International)

• Course Reviewers

• Transfer Institutions

Business Process

• Students petition via a Qualtrics form that feeds into Salesforce: https://eccles.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0TlOPWtWwr47erH.

• UAS staff use two or three of the following screen flows* to process the petitions:

  • Petition Wizard (Validation)

  • Petition Wizard (Routing)

  • Petition Wizard (Final Decision)

*Each screen flow allows UAS staff to choose if they want to send an automatic email. Details about the automatic email alerts and templates are attached.
