Specialized Master Programs (SMP)

Overview

The Eccles School offers a variety of specialized master degrees: graduate programs that are focused in one area of business. These degrees are a great fit for working students and recent graduates; most programs offer evening classes, can be completed in as little as one year, and do not require work experience. Students can complete multiple graduate degrees at the same time. The Eccles School also offers graduate certificates.

Common Goals

• Increase the number of applicants.

• Increase the amount of female students and domestic, non-resident students.

• Customize admission applications and reduce their overall length.

• Automate application processing to increase time for recruiting.

• Optimize advising operations: note taking, email templates, automation, and reporting.

• Ensure information sharing between admission and advising personnel, especially regarding students seeking concurrent degrees and their scholarships.

• Connect event attendance with applications, admission, and enrollment.
