* If Salesforce for Outlook is installed on your computer you must uninstall it.*
Follow the removal instructions here.
If you are using the Outlook Web Client, skip to step 2 below.
From the Outlook Desktop client, click File on the toolbar in the upper left-hand corner of the Outlook window.
Next, click Manage Add-ins under Account Information.
At this point the Outlook Web Client will open up and place you at Step 3 below. (Advance to Step 3.)
Log into the Outlook Web Client (https://www.umail.utah.edu/owa)
In Outlook on the web, open an existing message and click the three dots next to the forwarding arrow then click “Get Add-ins”
Under “All Add-Ins” click “Add” on the Salesforce option.
If Salesforce is NOT in your list, search for it in the “Search add-ins” box.

3. Continue to Step 4 below.
Return to the Outlook desktop client app and navigate to an email from someone who has a contact record in Salesforce.
Click the Home tab and then click the blue Salesforce cloud icon. Ensure the environment field is set to Production and click Login. To login using CIS credentials, you will need to do the following:
Click the Home tab in Outlook and select the Salesforce Add-On
Login to Production Environment
Click "Use Custom Domain" button
Enter "eccles" for the custom domain name and click Continue
Use the University of Utah SSO button to login using CIS credentials
Connect Outlook to your Salesforce account

Step 1: Access Salesforce-Outlook Add-On
Step 2: Login to Production Environment
Step 3: Select Use Custom Domain
Step 4: Enter eccles for the Custom Domain name
Step 5: Click University of Utah SSO
Step 6: Connect Outlook to your Salesforce account by clicking Confirm.
If needed, click the new View button with the familiar Salesforce blue cloud icon. Once logged in, you will see a new column added to the Outlook layout containing Salesforce data about that person.
Or optionally, create a new email message and chose someone with a Salesforce contact record as the recipient.
