Short summary

⌨️It is said that about 1 in 6 children in the world currently live on less than $ 1.9 a day. (Please see below for the details.)To solve the problem of poverty, of course, we must focus on and solve the underlying problem, but it is far larger and unrealistic for each of us to tackle this problem personally. It seems impossible. Therefore, in this project, we will target to motivate people to get more interest to poverty problems by make the effort being visible as "fundraising and donation" . I wanted to encourage them willingness to contribute to society. Even if it is difficult to do alone, if people with the same intention gather together, it will surely be able to generate great influence. I hope that different generations in different countries Japan will cooperate with my activities.

世界では現在約6人に1人の子供が1日1.9ドル未満で生活しているといわれている。貧困を解決するためには勿論、その根本的な問題に焦点を当て解消しなければならないが、我々一人一人がこの問題に個人的に取り組むには遥かに規模が大きく、現実的にも不可能に思えるだろう。そこで今回提案するプロジェクトでは、より多くの人々に世界の貧困問題に対する関心を持ってもらい、そして彼らへの支援の気持ちを”募金と寄付"という目に見える形にすることで、社会問題への貢献意欲を促したいと考えた。一人では難しくても、同じ意思を持つ者が集まればきっと大きな影響力を生むことができるだろう。様々な国の様々な世代が私の活動に協力してくれることを望んでいる。

⌨️I want to focus on the problems especially related to poverty. This project is aimed at G1 goal "no poverty" and the target is to raise people's awareness of poverty and promote "Fundraising and Donation".

Why this research matters to you, to the local community, and to the global community

⌨️I want to manage the situation where most people are aware of but have not actually contributed. I thought that it would be likely for young people to have interest in our initiative by connecting it to fashion, and that it might be easier for young people like us to work on it.

貧困の問題を知っているにも関わらず、実際に貢献できていない人がほとんどであるという状況を何とかしたい。ファッションにつなげることで、若者がこの取り組みに興味を示してくれやすいと考え、また私達みたいな若者がやっている事業であることで取り組みやすくなるかもしれないと考えた。

PROJECT PROPOSAL

⌨️ In this semester, if it would be possible, I want to create our original T-shirt for a charity. We sell them in some way and collect donations. We will make a contribution to and help poor people. All our gross profits are donated to poverty people. This project makes us actually contribute to society and the T-shirts you buy would be around forever as a proof of action to help people.

Information about SDGs goal 1

This time, I want to focus on Goal 1, poverty. It has 7 targets divided into small pieces, so now I will explain these briefly. First, by 2030, we will decrease the number of people who are extremely poor living on less than $ 1.25 a day. Second, by 2030, Reduce the proportion of men, women and children who are defined "poor" by various national standards by at least half. Third, in each country, we will establish appropriate social security system including minimum standards and measures to protect people's lives so that the poor and especially vulnerable people will be fully protected by 2030. The fourth, by 2030, everyone, including the poor and especially vulnerable, will have equal rights to economic resources and basic services. Also they need live and own and use their land and property to be able to use new technologies, financial services, etc. The fifth, by 2030, we will strengthen the ability of poor people and especially vulnerable people to reduce the damage caused by natural disasters, economic shocks, social crisis and environmental blow as much as possible, and to rebuild their lives even if they were in that situation. The sixth is to ensure the mobilization of significant resources in order to take appropriate and predictable measures for developing countries. The seventh is, at national, regional and international levels, establish appropriate policy frameworks based on poor and gender-friendly development strategies, and support to increase investment in action to eradicate poverty. ⌨️What I sympathized by watching some pieces of news was Japanese society tends not to look at the dark points of Japanese society. So I want many people to know the actual situation through this activity. I would like to disseminate information on Japan's poverty problem and our activities on SNS. I want to write a sentence that appeals to people about the seriousness of this problem.
