I am a university student who likes short hair.
私はショートヘアが好きな大学生です。
My hair is short because my hair is a riot and I am lazy. I like my short hair now.
私はくせ毛で、それからめんどくさがりなので、このように髪を短くしています。
I really like watching anime and movies, reading manga and books, and listening to music.
私はアニメを見たり映画を見たり、漫画や本を読んだり、音楽を聴くことが本当に好きです。
I have heavy tasks and a part time job, so I am always anxious or busy now, but I have awesome hobbies, so I can make an effort every day.
I love my hobbies. I live for these things.
私は今とてもたくさんの課題やバイトを抱えているので毎日不安で忙しいですが、私には最高の趣味があるので、頑張れます。私はこれらの趣味のために生きています！
I like knowing. I am curious and enjoy learning and thinking about many things.

Especially, I like learning about Russia. Because their international problems and historical awareness issues are so interesting.
特に、私はロシアについて学ぶことが好きです。なぜならロシアの国際問題や歴史認識問題は本当に興味深いからです。

I lived in Yokohama when I was a child. Then, when I was 8 years old, I moved to Hong Kong.

I moved to Yamanashi when I was 11 years old, and now, I live in Shizuoka alone.

Energy harvesting converts dilute energy present in our immediate environment, such as vibration, light and heat, into electricity.
エネルギ―ハーベスティングは、振動、光、熱など、私たちの身近な環境に存在する希薄なエネルギーを電気に変換します。
For example, vibration power generation, photovoltaics, temperature difference power generation are ‘Energy harvesting’.

静岡県は駿河湾を世界の海洋拠点にしたいと考えている。
A conference of experts from Japan and abroad was held in Shizuoka city to find new possibilities for environmental conservation and the creation of local industries while making use of the sea.
海を生かした環境保全や地場産業の創出の新たな可能性を模索する国内外の有識者会議が静岡市で開かれた。

The ocean is an inseparable part of our future, so we have to think, know, and work on it.

What did I do?

I went to the Motimune ocean, and surveyed the number and type of litter on the beach.
私は用宗港に行き、海岸に落ちているゴミの数やタイプを調べてきました。

I collected data of litter at Mochimune ocean.
私は用宗港に落ちていたゴミのデータを集めました。
What trends did I find in the data?
そのデータからどのような傾向を見つけたか。
The data shows there is waste at Mochimune bay. Many cigarettes butts and charcoal were dumped near the steps leading down to the beach,
データを見ると用宗湾には廃棄物があることが分かります。ビーチに降りる階段の近くには、たくさんのタバコの吸い殻や木炭が捨てられていました。
which were probably left by barbecue visitors. Also, the brown paper bags in the first photo are filled with rubbish, which I thought were also left by barbecue visitors.

The plastic pieces may have washed up from the sea, but the plastic bottles and fishing floats were probably discarded by people.

Short summary:
I want to do a survey of the problem of beach’s waste again.
私はもう一度海岸のごみに関する調査がしたいと思います。
Since I already went to Mochimune beach, I want to go to other beaches, such as Mihonomatsubara, Suruga bay, Nagahama Seaside park, and Shore of Hirizo.
私はすでに用宗港に行ったので、次は他の海、例えば三保の松原や駿河港、長浜海浜公園、ヒリゾ浜等に行ってみたいです。
And I want to do a survey that counts litter on the beach, then analyze and consider trends and causes of litter fallout.
そして、海岸のゴミを数える調査を行い、落ちているゴミの傾向や原因を分析・検討したいと考えています。
If possible, I want to interview people and organizations involved in marine conservation activities.
もし可能であれば海洋保護活動に携わっている人や団体にインタビューしたいと思っています。

What I learned this semester:
私がこのクラスで何を学んだか
I learned about SDGs. Before this class, I knew about SDGs and their importance, but I didn't understand it well.
私はＳＤＧｓを学びました。このクラスに入る前、私はＳＤＧｓとその重要性については知っていました。しかし十分に理解はしていなかったと思います。
And also I learned about communicating in this class. I learned that it is important to try to communicate somehow even if I am not good or fluent.
また、私はコミュ二ケーションについても学びました。例え流暢でなかったとしても、離そうとして見ることの重要さを知りました。
Even now, I’m not good at slurring my words in English, but I have grown in my willingness to try.
今でも私は英語で自分の言いたいことを言うことに関して上手ではありませんが、やってみようというチャレンジ精神は身についたと思います。
