Matthew 7:7-12
Ask, Seek, Knock
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Author Donna Goddard, wrote, “The path is paved with consistent, conscious mental and spiritual alertness and the gradual growth of goodness in our heart and clarity in our mind...We are awake...If we keep trying to understand, we will understand...If we keep telling ourselves that we are loved by Life and if we keep looking for evidence of that love, we will find it.”...
When I first read this quote, I think about the Path of Life and that if we seek God we shall find Him...God's Word is Truth...God's Word is the Path of Life and the Lamp for my feet...His Goodness grows in the hearts of those who seek Him...When we keep telling ourselves that we are LOVED by the One who gave His Only Son to die for us, and not to condemn us, although we are worthy of condemnation -we better understand Divine LOVE...God's Son is the Path to the Father...And in everything we do on our personal path in life be kind to others...So in everything you do in life, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets...That is Godly LOVE...
Our journey in life is part of God's Plan for us...If we keep seeking this kind of LOVE, we will find it...Whoever continues to ask, God will give the answer to you....Whoever continue to search, he we will find it...Whoever continues to knock, the door will be opened for you...Yes, whoever continues to ask will receive...Whoever continues to look will find...And whoever continues to knock will have the door opened for them...One day we will all understand...
