Matthew 6:25-34
Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Verses of encouragement are needed in today's times...And sometimes in our times of tribulations we need the Hope of Jesus to sustain, and get us through these trials...The words below are words to encourage us in those times, and these words give us hope...Let us do our best to follow Jesus and not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself...Each day has enough trouble of its own...Do your best when you are troubled not be anxious about your different trials, but in every situation, by prayer and talking to Jesus, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God...And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus...
As one lives in this earthly world you will have tribulation...But take heart; Jesus has overcome this world...And do not fear, for I AM with you; do not be dismayed, for I AM your God...I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand...You will have tribulations but do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God...And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus...Seek the LORD, and He will answer you and deliver you from all your fears...Those who look the LORD are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed...Taste and see that the LORD is good!...For blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!...And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose...As God told Joshua, Have I not commanded you?...Be strong and courageous...Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go...So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or "What shall we wear?'...For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them...But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well...Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself...Each day will have enough trouble of its own...Remember to trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding...May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit...In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths...If God's followers who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, then He will hear us from heaven and will forgive us of our sins and heal our land and our daily bread and needs will be given to us by our sustaining LORD...So humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time so He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you...Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in live in humility and count others more significant than yourselves...Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others...For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Fear not, I am the one who helps you...When I thought, "My foot slips," Your steadfast LOVE, O LORD, helped me up...When the cares of my heart are many, Your consolations cheer my soul...God will wipe away every tear from everyone's eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away...And God who is seated on the throne will say, "Behold, I AM making all things new."...And He told me, “It is done!...All things will be new again...I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End...To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the eternal water of life...We are children of God, and will be in the LAMB's eternal book of life...
