K-2 PE
Hello Parents and Students! I hope everyone is doing well in this difficult and confusing time!
I hope the weather cooperates and everyone gets a chance to spend some time outside in the fresh air. I will provide mostly indoor activities, but walking or playing outside is always encouraged! I would not recommend using public playground equipment, however. In PE we’ve been focusing on Overhand Throwing and we’ll continue that unit and also add fitness components over ZOOM.

The US Department of Health and Human Services and the CDC recommend that children and adolescents get 60 minutes or more of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily. This does not need to be done all at once and can include a variety of activities! To get 60 minutes daily you will need to supplement this content - check out the “More Activities” tab on my page or the “General Activities” tab on the main PE page for more ideas.
Take care and have fun with it,
Miss Drury
