Tape a red circle of paper to the center of a circular pie plate. Place a small ball on the plate and move it around to see how the planets orbit, or circle, the sun!

Sun and space both start with the letter S. Can you think of any other space words that start with S?
Mathematics & Fine Motor
Cut out a yellow circle and lots of strips of orange paper. Roll the dice and put the correct number of rays on your sun!
Art
Art
Paint or color a paper plate yellow. Trace your hand on yellow paper several times and cut them out. Attach the hands to the plate as the rays of the sun!
