Figure out how far away a lightning strike is! After you see lightning, count "One Mississippi, Two Mississippi, Three Mississippi..." etc until you hear thunder. If you count to five, the strike was one mile away.

Make it rain in a jar! Fill a jar with water and cover the top with shaving cream. Use an eyedropper to drip blue food coloring onto the shaving cream "cloud" and wait until the cloud gets heavy and full enough to rain!

It's been really stormy lately! Use paint, paper, and cotton balls to create your own thunderstorm!
