Orient Your Project.
This project can be vertical or horizontal- It is up to you.
Cut 10 Dark Squares.
These squares will make up your “night sky” in the top half of your paper. Make these squares various sizes and dark colors like dark blue, dark green, dark purple, and black.
Cut 10 Bright Rectangles.
These rectangles will be your “buildings” on the “ground.” Make these various sizes which will make them different heights of different buildings in your nightscape of your abstract city scene.
Cut a Bright Circle.
This will be your moon. Make it vibrant like yellow, white or orange! Maybe even hot pink.
Attach Shapes to Background.
Starting with your sky shapes, with glue, carefully attach your sky shapes to your background. Then, your buildings. Lastly, your moon. If you want to add stars and nighttime clouds you can of course!
