Turn Paper Horizontal.
Remember, horizontal is turning it wide instead of tall. This is the “orientation” of your paper.
Draw Big Circle.
With a pencil, LIGHTLY draw a large circle in the center of your paper. It should be big enough to touch the top and the bottom of your paper. This is your “iris” (the color in the center of your eyeball).
Draw Smaller Circle.
LIGHTLY draw a smaller circle in the center of the larger circle to create the “pupil” (the black circle in the center of your eyeball).
Draw Eyelids.
LIGHTLY draw two curved lines (like a banana) to create your eyelids. One upside-down banana line on the top of the iris and one banana line at the bottom of the iris. Both curved lines should touch the edges of the paper.
Add Color!
Paint or color the pupil black. Make the “iris” look like a bright blue sky with clouds! Lastly, paint the “skin” of the eyelids to make it look like an eye! Don’t forget about shadows and lights!
