Orient Your Project.
This project can be vertical or horizontal- It is up to you.
Start With a Centered Square.
For making the squares, you can use a ruler for straight lines if you want. Lightly, with your pencil, draw the outline of a really small square in the very center of your paper. Do not fill it in with your pencil, only the outline!
Make Another Bigger Square.
Be sure to check out the video lesson guidance to see how to create the squares. It will be a repeating square, outlining the square before it, getting bigger each square.
Repeat Squares To Fill Paper.
With your pencil, continue filling your paper with lightly drawn squares.
Color! - Alternate Colors.
Fill the center square with a bright color. The next square around that one, choose another color, then the next square choose another color. Keep alternating colors until you fill the entire project! It might give the “illusion” that it is moving when you stare at the center.
