Turn Paper Horizontal.
Remember, horizontal is turning it wide instead of tall. This is the “orientation” of your paper.
Paint the Sky.
On the top half of your white project paper, color your sky like a sunset or sunrise. Make it vibrant! You could use yellow, reds, oranges, and pinks!
Paint the Sea.
On your separate sheet of paper, paint your sea. Be sure to watch the video guidance! Color your sea with greens and blues. Add wave lines across your sea with a light blue or white. (Let your sea dry if you are painting it before you rip and attach it to your sky.)
Attach Sea to Sky.
Rip your sea into 3 long pieces. Watch video guidance! By placing glue on the back of each piece, layer the sea pieces onto your project paper. This layering will help create depth to make the sea look like it goes far away to the sunset or sunrise.
Add Sailboats and a Lighthouse!
If you wish, you could draw, paint, or collage on sailboats and a lighthouse! You could add birds and fish too if you wish. These details will make your seascape unique- Get creative!
