1. Turn White and Black Paper Vertical.
   Remember, vertical is turning it tall instead of wide. This is the “portrait orientation” of your paper.

2. Cut Black Frame for White Paper.
   *Be sure to watch video lesson guidance for how to cut the frame! You want the frame to be able to be placed over top of the white (or clear) paper like it is a window frame. You may use a ruler to help this process of course!

3. Cut Lots of Colorful Shapes.
   Look at the shapes that Frank Lloyd Wright included in his stained glass designs. Use these as inspiration for cutting out shapes for your “stained glass window” like circles, squares, rectangles, etc. of all different sizes and colors!

4. Attach Shapes to “Window.”
   Carefully glue each shape to your window (not on the frame). Make the layout of these shapes as unique and interesting as possible. They can overlap to create depth. Have fun with this layout. Make sure you leave white space!

5. Black Outline Shapes.
   Carefully, lastly with a black marker outline every single shape one at a time.

6. Hold Up to a Window!
   Can you see the sun shine through your window?
