Matthew 3:16-17
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
Matthew 28:18-20
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
John 14:15-26
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

The Holy Spirit is a Witness to Jesus - His Life, His Death, and His Resurrection
29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! 30 The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. 31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins. 32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

John 16:8-15
The Holy Spirit Guides Us to the Truth
8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.

Luke 11:13
The Holy Spirit is Given To Us by God and is a Gift from Him
13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
Romans 8:5-16
The Holy Spirit Testifies that We Are Children of God
5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Romans 8:26-27
The Holy Spirit Intercedes for Us
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit make up the Trinity...The Father is God, and the Son is Jesus...The Holy Spirit was sent to us by God...Jesus ask the Holy Spirit to be sent His Disciples and to dwell in us...The Holy Spirit is an Advocate and Comforter for us...And since He was sent to us by God, He is always guiding us toward Himself, Jesus and to LOVE and to Truth...
God gives us free choice and free will, so we can resist the Holy Spirit...We can resist Him in different ways...We are tempted by much of the time by our flesh and our carnal thoughts and desires of the flesh and of this earth...The flesh makes it tough to focus on God and His Son all the time...When the mind is always looking for that next desire and next material thing, it becomes a resistance to the Holy Spirit...We want to do our own will, and not the will of the Father...We can make these other things more important in our lives, and when we do -we are resisting Him in that way...When we resist the Holy Spirit, it is more difficult to have Jesus and His Father in our personal lives...We can keep Him at arms length...And when this is the case in our lives, it is harder to get closer to our Father and His Son...When we do not resist Him, we are told we are the Holy Spirit can lead us...St. Paul says when we are led by the Holy Spirit of God, we are His children...
The Holy Spirit helped raise Jesus from the dead...And when the Holy Spirit is living in us, He will also give life to our mortal bodies after our death....And this is because of His Holy Spirit that is living and indwelt in us...
When we follow the Holy Spirit and do not resist Him, He brings us many good things...The Holy Spirit can guide us toward many things...The Holy Spirit is always guiding us to the Truth and towards Jesus and His Father...That is because Jesus is Truth...The Holy Spirit helps us follow the Bible and Jesus' teachings...The Holy Spirit guides us to justice...We were given a conscious by our Father, and it helps guide us to justice...And because of this justice, the Holy Spirit convicts the world of guilt and sin...The Holy Spirit strengthens us...It encourages us...It gives us joy...It intercedes for us when we feel and are weak...It guides and helps us with understanding, knowledge, and our wisdom...It also helps us in our own personal talents...
The Holy Spirit is with us in prayer...The Holy Spirit helps us pray, and with us in prayer...When we are troubled, it is a Comforter and helps share in our burdens...Therefore, the Holy Spirit is ever present and always active...
The Holy Spirit helps us in our faith, and in our loves, and is with us when we are peaceful...The Holy Spirit guides us to kindness, a peace, and a goodness...It testifies that we are children of God...
The Holy Spirit comes from the Father...It is a gift from Him to us...The Holy Spirit is an eyewitness to Jesus...The Holy Spirit is a witness (like the Disciples were) to Jesus, His life, His death, and His resurrection...The Holy Spirit is witness that Jesus is eternal...The Holy Spirit is testimony that Jesus lives...Jesus says that all things that belong to His Father are a part of Him...That is why the Holy Spirit will receive things from Jesus and He will make their goodness in things better known to the world and to us...All these things (like goodness, LOVE, Truth, justice, joy, kindness, mercy, peace, prayer) in the Holy Spirit and a part of the Holy Spirit are to bring glory to Jesus...
