John 14:6
Jesus is The Way to the Father
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
1 John 4:7-21
God is LOVE
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 We love because he first loved us. 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
John 1:1-14
God Sent Jesus to Dwell Among Us
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Acts 17:24-31
God Wants Us to Seek Him
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. 30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”
Acts 4:12
Salvation is Found in Only Jesus
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Jesus is Without Sin
21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Mark 2:17
Jesus Came for Sinners
17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
John 13:34-35
The LOVE Commandment
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
1 Corinthians 13:12-13
The Greatness of Love
12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
God is LOVE...Jesus has been with God from the very beginning...And God LOVES the world and showed us His LOVE by sending us His Son to dwell on the earth with us -to teach us more about Him....This LOVE from makes us feel good...Since He is LOVE, His LOVE is made complete in us...
Since God created and LOVES us, He wants us to seek Him...God sent His Son to earth so that we might come to His Son so that we would get to know the Father better...The Son came for sinners, because the world is broken...He came to save us from our sins...We are separated from God...Jesus is the Way to His Father...His Son would draw us together so that we can be closer to His Father...He is our Redeemer and Savior...And our Redeemer and Savior lives...Jesus gives us a Way, the Way to free us from our sins...He sacrificed His own sinless life, so that we might live with Him and His Father in heaven...And by His resurrection, He lives, so that we might live...He lives inside us and those who have Him in their hearts...The Holy Spirit is in those who hold Him in their hearts...For in Him we live and move and have our being...As some of Greek poets have said, "We are His offspring."...And since we are His offspring and believe in Him, we have the right to be called children of God...
God LOVES us...This is how God showed His LOVE to us: He sent His One and Only Son into the world that we might live through Him...This is LOVE: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins...Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to LOVE one another...This is His Son's commandment: to LOVE one another...When we follow this commandment, it shows we are His disciples...No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us...For in Him we live each day and He gives us life and breath and everything else...We are dependent on Him...We love because He LOVED us first...LOVE does makes these things and life complete...Without any love at all in your life, you do feel incomplete...Therefore, we better understand that we need love and love around us and love in our lives...LOVE completes us...Love is the greatest part of life, for what is a life without the love of God, family and friends?...
This is very much a great mystery, but we can believe that He lives in us...But a God, such as our God would have and be of Great Mystery...How could He not be somewhat of a mystery?...St. John writes of this mystery...And so this is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of His Holy Spirit...And John and the other Disciples have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world...If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, then God lives in them and they in God...And so we know and rely on the LOVE God has for us...We are saved from our sins by LOVE...
