Romans 8:26-30
The Holy Spirit Helps in Time of Need
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Acts 17:24-28
God is Near Us
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
Have you ever been really busy and your mind has bee taken off of God?...Maybe you were working on a new job, and you had to learn quite a bit of new things...Or maybe you were traveling and got caught up with your vacation spots and sights...Or somethings else just took you away from thinking and praying to God...I think there are times when we get caught up in things and our mind and thoughts leave God...But for those who love God, the Spirit may intercede for for us during these times...The Spirit helps intercedes for us in our weakness and in our weak times, and we know that God is always near...
