Acts 26:24-27
Christianity was not Hidden in a Corner
24 At this point Festus interrupted Paul's defense. "You are out of your mind, Paul!" he shouted. "Your great learning is driving you insane."
25 "I am not insane, most excellent Festus," Paul replied. "What I am saying is true and reasonable. 26 The king is familiar with these things, and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner. 27 King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do."
While a prisoner St. Paul is being questioned by Governor Festus and King Agrippa...St. Paul tells Festus and Agrippa, basically since Jesus and His teachings were not hidden, I know you have heard about Him (and His teachings)...This movement, the following of Jesus would not escape many people's notice... Especially those in a high political office...Christianity is not a hidden religion...And Jesus is not a hidden made-up figure...
After St. Paul tells them this, they could easily could deny his statements, but they don't...Both Agrippa and Festus know of Jesus and know He lived and taught in Israel and was crucified on the cross and was resurrected by God and lives (then and) today...
A fact remains a fact if it is two years old or two thousand years old...Jesus lived, died, and is resurrected...He lives today....
