Joel 2:28-32
The Day of the LORD
28 “And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
32 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
whom the Lord calls.

Peter Addresses the Crowd and Quotes Joel
14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Romans 10:9-13
Everyone Who Calls on the Name of the LORD will be Saved
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Salvation is Found in No One Else, Other than Jesus
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
Everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD will be saved...St. Paul says it this way, "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved...For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved...As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”...For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same LORD is LORD of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”...
Long before Jesus arrived on earth, salvation was part of Scripture....The Prophet Joel talked about being saved...This quote of "And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls." is from the Prophet Joel...And St. Peter quoted the Prophet Joel, years later, on the Day of the Pentecost when Jesus have sent His Disciples the Holy Spirit...St. Peter said, “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people...Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams...Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy...I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke...The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the LORD...And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’"...
