Follow Up

Emails

• Once you return from your shoot and your footage is ingested, your Hot Sheets and the path to your footage should be sent on the same email chain as your kick-off email (Subj: PRODUCTION APPROVED - PROJECT NAME - PROJECT ID). Make any notes about schedule changes in this email as well.
• If it's helpful, you should try to regroup with those who were at the kick-off meeting to discuss what was shot, any changes in direction/beats, any challenges you might be facing in the edit, etc. Otherwise, make sure to note all this in your follow up email
• Remember, you budgeted for a specific amount of post days, so you need to stick to that timeline. Your colleagues are also waiting for editors so please be respectful and try to make the edit as close to your schedule as possible. If you find you need a pick-up, notify Veronica right away so she can pause the edit.

Every Friday, Olivia will email producers individually for production updates. These updates should include:

• Current status
• Links to current cuts
  • NOTE: Use posting tracker in the Project Bible to keep track of current links
• Next steps
  • when are we seeing next cut? when is this delivering/airing?
• Any budget flags, delays, or concerns
  • If cuts are delayed, edits on hold for any reason, Veronica, Olivia, and Sara must be notified.
