The top priority is creating a natural shot vs an overly constructed one. This doesn't discount the need for breathtaking, beautiful shots. But prioritize the content of the shot. Making sure the shooting style matches the narrative is so much more important than overwrought, over-thought shots.

THE CAMERA WORK SHOULD FEEL REAL AND RAW

• Digital shoots are generally very bare bones: a producer and single camera operator or two who also handle sound.
• Keep it simple and represent exactly what is happening in real time.
• Avoid lighting scenes - rely on available light unless placing a light is absolutely necessary for exposure.
• Fly-on-the-wall instead of over-produced.
