The intention for video is to amplify all of our pieces with assets for socials that feel stand alone, rather than a trailer. Our producers often meet with the social team to brainstorm what those pieces might be that they can capture in the field or create in post. This might include and explainer, or a 360 video or doing instagram stories or snapchat from the field.
Below is a good example of all the social assets that we used to make three pieces and editorial feel bigger. Broadly's trans bathroom rights package called Youth Interrupted is a mix of editorial and video with a ton social assets.
